Did any of you play Grounded? The sequel is apparently out for early review testing soon.

Tbh, as we're talking videogames, I'm looking forward to the new Fable whenever it finally comes out... I'm hoping for 2026 but am not holding my breath!

I've been debating restarting my AC island for a few weeks also but I have too much stuff to lose I also love my current villagers

I had pretty much a full catalogue plus all the festival an holiday diys

On the plus I do have those amibo disk things I got off Etsy years ago so I'll at least get my favourite villagers again, my starter ones this time was moose an pashmino so those two are getting ditched asap

Never got round to playing it but was always gonna give it a go, the new fable looks pretty good an I think it's was fable 2 I had that I really enjoyed, but it's been so long that my interest starts to die off, apart from just recently starting AC again I've been hooked on guardians of azuma

I was so hoping we'd have had news of a new AC when the switch 2 was getting announced an we were getting all the directs, such a pity there was nothing which means if there is one then it's probably still gonna be a few years away, is ACNH going get updates? I thought once they released the 2.0 that was pretty much it for any updates they were gonna do for it an they had essentially "finished" it, it would be nice if it got updates though

I can't remember what villagers I bought, I need to look out my disks, I know I have the two rabbits, the pink an blue one, I've also got the squirrel that was pretty popular, an a fox as well, honestly can't remember the rest lol

Oh a villager finder would be good, it's a pain trying run round the entire village hunting for them lol

I adore Animal Crossing. My 3DS XL and my Switch are both Animal Crossing special edition ones. I only bought my Switch for AC.
My daughter has started playing it too but every time I go back on, she's destroyed something on there in my village
I haven't played it properly for a long time though. I miss playing it loads

Honestly I think restarting has made me get excited with playing it again, today am off to buy my turnips lol hopefully for a good price an I should have blathers on the island today as well so I can start to donate to get the museum ready as well

It has been so long since I played AC I forgot how rare other fruit are I've been to 5 island an everyone of them apples, my own island is apples of course I did have islands with peach and pears on them but because I wanted a green airport I was like nope lol an now am stuck with the worst fruit of all of them

I have a friend that's gonna send some over, I honestly can't remember the fruits being this rare for islands, been to close to 30 islands an just apples on all of them apart from one that was bamboo so I at least have that growing now

I also forgot how much the fish troll you cast my line an its like nope am gonna go this way now

I do have all my sea creatures I can get now, got around 12 fish an I think 8 bugs to catch before am into autumn to get the rest

Replaying Tomb Raider II. I know the graphics of the original/non remastered version are dated and full of weird textures, but the environments still have so much atmosphere. I think a lot of it is down to the great sound design. Still a classic imo.

TR3 is still my favourite. Just something about those first 3 games.

The modern Tomb Raider games are too close to Uncharted for my liking (considering that was, in turn, based on Tomb Raider it's ironic, don't you think?).

We’ve literally just reinstated ours after cancelling for a few months and will probably be cancelling again. Crazy price increase.

Yeah I cancelled as well, there's no way am paying that, I already played so little on it, it was more a way for me to try out new games, but now it's all quantity over quality, it's been getting spammed with the same 2d side scroller indi games which now all count towards the 75 day one releases they are talking about, which means you are probably talking about maybe 5 to 10 decent games per year which just isn't worth it I feel

An honestly hate how they have decided to basically force you to pay for the other subscriptions that were probably losing money for them, I have 0 interest in Fortnite, couldn't really care about Unisoft classics an EA had been in the toilet for a while now, but yet they want us to pay for them

I seen that lol, pretty glad I cancelled last month so it was done before this, wondering if they will back track on it or stick with it

The gaming industry is already burning that this really didn't help them

When it comes to xbox I usually jump in and buy a month. Play a few games and then cancel and come back a few months later and repeat the process. A shame to see them going this route of squeezing money out of people.
