I ended up replaying "The Last of us part 1" The other week when I had some unexpected time on my hands.

I'm getting more out of it this time round as I'm not speeding through it. It'a a good, solid game. There was a great review from some random which simply said "Seperation anxiety simulator". Genius IMO.

I want to play part 2 remastered but it's not due on pc till April apparenty.
Is 2 as good/better/worse than the first or something?

Those shouty weirdos are why I stopped posting on a gaming forum. Hyper aggresive inadequate sexualised gibberish. It's also partly why I won't do online gaming.
There was even a to do over Alan Wake 2.
That type of behaviour is on the wane though it may not feel like it at times granted.
All that concerns me is wheher a games good/entertaining.
It's bizarre.

I bought last of us part 1 with my ps4 maybe like 5 plus years ago? And still haven't got round to playing it haha. I have no excuse as constantly reading it's amazing. I will play it this year!

Is anyone playing aloft? I want to change home island but am having a hard time trying do it, I kindi just settled on the first island that looked ok but it's really small an now it seems a small island isn't the best due to how many animals you can have on it

If anyone is playing assassins creed the shadows on a Xbox series x/s how long did it take to install it? It’s been 12 hours so far for me and still only on 36%. It’s a new console so trying to figure out if that’s normal - but it feels ridiculous?

I'll get it when it comes down in price probably. I don't hold out much hope for it not basically being almost the same game as Ghost of Tshuima.

The fella is playing it and I'm gonna play next week when I'm over there. He loves it so far but he is a big AC fan anyway. The bits I've seen online look cool and a lot of fun. Nothing can top GOT in my opinion but it looks like a great AC game

I play AC on Xbox X, I don't have shadows however, it's the first AC I haven't instantly went out an bought, have decided I'll wait on a sale since I play like a day then it gets ignored lol, but I wouldn't say that's normal for a game to install, the biggest games I think have maybe taken me 5, 6 hours tops an that was back when I had the crappy internet as well

I have found that it's better to install first and then install the updates, whenever I put a disk in it would pop up with "update" for me clicking update when it wasn't first installed seemed to take more hours, but letting it install first an then doing updates helped cut it's time in half

But yeah, 12 hours an its at 36% seems like there's something wrong there, I've never had a game taken that length an I've all the AC games like Valhalla, as well as other big ones like cyberpunk, hogwarts legacy, watch dogs etc

I'm trying to play the Kingdom come sequel.
I tried playing the original too.
I can't do it.
I want to wander around being knightly or something.
Instead I have to win at dice (the mechanics of which are totally beyond me) and try and feed some barky mutt.
I want to like it.
Had the same feeling about the first one.
Sacked that one off when there was a 45 min section (felt that long to me) with no save and my character got on a horse in a barn and his head fused into the straw roof and glitched.

I've tried persevering with it.
I applaud the fact that it's single player based long campaign and does stuff a bit differently but it's not for me tbh.
You see the term "Janky" used in random reviews and I can see that too.
Last of us 2 remastered is available on PC now so I'll give that a go.
I'm tempted to try the following but I'm wary of the devs/post apocalypse theme tbh.

I've been watching a lot of indie horror games and there are a few that are especially creepy. Chilla's Art games and the Fears to Fathom series really make me glad I'm watching someone else play. I'd be hiding.

Yeah I watch a few, watch some friends on twitch an have watched a few on yt like tagback, veradark, moist etc, I was really wanting to play lies of P but it kicks my butt lol so I watched Charlie play it so I could at least get to see the story

I quite enjoy having it as background stuff mostly

It's been years since I last played an have really enjoyed it tonight, I did spend time debating if I should keep my island or not but honestly kindi glad I reset it now, it's been fun collecting things for the first time again

I absolutely love sandrock, couldn't get into Portia but got hooked on sandrock an cannot wait till evershine comes out, I loved fangs story an am really happy he got voted for being one of the visitors for evershine, his new design looks so good as well, I won't spoil it but I felt like it had a pretty good storyline to it

The one thing that was putting me off restarting was losing all my stuff, but then I thought I hadn't played it in years anyway so might as well restart with the new switch an its made me fall in love with it again, so far I've 26 fish and 16 insects to donate when I get my museum
