I agree with all you are saying here! I lost track of her, probably somewhere mid-pandemic when they were "relocating" and going on vacations to places with less restrictions and that's when all their super uninformed, egoistic tendencies started to reveal themselves...

I used to enjoy her beauty and skincare videos once. I remember when her last child was born, her videos were so cosy.

But it's clear what a huge influence her older husband is on her and they claim as that their age gap doesn't matter, but it is undeniable that when a young girl spends 10 years married to an older man, they even "work" together as in they don't go out to seperate work places every day (some regular company of different people would do her good), she basically grew up as an adult constatly under his influence and opinions. She doesn't know life without him, except for when she was a teenager. And then he held her down, got her knocked up immediately and impressed her with his big personality and ego...
I'm 30 and have been with my partner for a decade too and I am def. not the same person when we got together at 20! The big difference is that we are close in age and we have grown up and matured TOGETHER. Same experiences.

I really wish she would get some distance from Gary, at least for social media and her youtube....

Well she has shared many times that her biggest regret and insecurity is her lack of education. You can see how much the message triggered her by her rage. She really should practice what she preaches and get into therapy.

This is the thing-- she used plastic surgery to create a 'baby face' by chiselling her nose down to the size of a toddler's, which made her look weirdly young in her 20s. But now her skin is aging noticeably. She is going to start looking very strange in the next few years.

I feel like you are mixing up a lot of things here. I feel that you are taking the image that they sell way too serious. They are on youtube monetizing themselves. If I want to see something more relatable I would watch Beatrice Chey want to sell this picture perfect family. There are tons of people who want to see that so they are making money of off it.

I do not think that she pretends to be married out of love. She was quite honest about how it started out. They do show how much they love eachother now. If that is real or not, it works for them.

I do not think that you gan generalise the age difference between 18 and 40. She comes from poverty and from a young age already traveled the world on her own. That means she is a lot more street smart than a 18 year old kid who never done anything herself. Still living at home, never traveled or paid a bill.

Being a scammer is not a good thing but he is not the only one who will go out of his way to make money.

Cancel culture is a thing and you are living it. Do not spend your energy on people who are trying to let you know that the world is not as black or white as you think it is. You do not get it, you do not want to get it or you pretend not to get it. You do you boo. You live and you learn and maybe someday you will know what we are trying to say here.

Anyone see her video from about two weeks ago with Gary “laughing off the internets craziest criticisms”? I saw it referenced on her instagram and then watched the full YouTube video and now a few days later I’m realizing I’m blocked on instagram. I know I didn’t comment on the clip but may have liked someone else’s comment.

She is really ridiculous. 90% of the comments on instagram and YouTube were saying how awful he is. I used to think she was really wonderful, wise and authentic and that he was as just the problem, but I’m thinking otherwise now and plan to disengage with her content entirely.

I feel like she's been living in such a bubble since they moved into that secluded, massive house in Miami to escape the pandemic regulations in Canada... :/ She used to be so much more normal, open and relatable. Her life now resembles that of a Kardashian more, with their huge cold mansions and staring at the phone 24/7. She used to have a pretty normal life, with an office, colleagues and friends back in Canada. I am also hoping she will find sth new to do, she's capable of so much more, if she only would make it out of Big Gary's control. I would go mad if someone would talk to me like that all he time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't their main source of income currently all of VALERIA's ventures (her youtube, her instagram, etc.)? Gary is such a jealous, controlling and incompetent little baby that instead of creating his own thing, he's trying to take over her channels, and pretend like it's "our" channel. And has the audacity to act like he's the provider of the family and the big man in charge.

So... he treats her like garbage, he's way too old for her, he is not the breadwinner, he doesn't help out with the kids, he is balding and chubby, etc...

There aren't many updates on here anymore and sorry if this post is considered too positive. I honestly enjoy her content. It’s motivating and uplifting without being too schmaltzy and annoying like many others. There’s a groundedness and sincerity to her and it’s fun seeing how they work through life. I admire the element of transparency with how they do things too, how you can see the business analytics behind it all with the risks they take to understand what is marketable while maintaining their integrity by sharing content Valeria enjoys. They’re really smart and it’s cool to watch their growing success and that's part of the appeal, the fact they actually went for it and built their platform.


Lately, I think Gary has tried to understand his role as an older guy who married a naive girl and how men can be socialised with not so appealing traits, and how it impacts him, it seems apparent in the past few months. I respect him for trying to understand this and work on it. Their relationship seems really genuine and loving, I find their dynamic appealing and honestly age gaps are not bad if it’s consensual. It's kind of hot if anything. I think the narrative with unconventional relationships is definitely shifting in the mainstream. With polyamory, kinks, etc becoming more understood to the average person, there needs to be less of a prudish and conservative view of things. So good for them! Haha

So I stopped following her a long time ago because I just found it ridiculous how she tried to differentiate herself as this educated holistic nutritionist, align herself with the wellness niche but like she’s a complete scammer. It’s great she wants to share about sustainability and wellness but when I saw her ESSO GAS sponsored posts I vomited in my mouth and unfollowed her. She has no moral compass and I think her and her husband are both scammers trying to portray themselves as wealthy and successful when in reality they are probably in massive debt. If they were wealthy they’d be living in Rosedale or some nice neighbourhood in Toronto rather than like Brampton or Vaughan where they appear to live they try way too hard.

I think she just hates being the breadwinner. Not the life she signed up for, not what she was groomed to become. Don't consider her or Garry good parents either (the kids are horribly spoiled and she doesn't know how to deal with them. Garry has serious anger issues. Also the fact that nanny packs her kids' stuff and she spends half of the video packing her own crap. I'm just..no words) I too have 3sons that I've raised with zero help (both our families are in Europe).
And her body is nothing special for all the time she spends working out with private trainers. And no, I'm not a miserable sour grapes overweight mom..

I watched their recent q and a out of sheer boredom and someone asked if she would ever consider leaving Gary and he got so defensive when she replied 'where would I go and who am I without you?'' She does clarify she has options but she'd never think of leaving. She seemed so uncomfortable and the 'who am I without you' gives major red flags.

Also, she's always going on about putting her relationship first and giving time to her relationship. Is it normal to put so much thought and effort into a relationship? Shouldn't some things come naturally?

In general, I think that's a weird ass question to ask a married couple. Also weirder that they would choose to answer it and in this way...

Lol no, she won't cut back. Her channel (I should say "their channel" since Gary controls her whole life) is based on overconsumption and showing off the places they travel to...she won't have content.

Of course she'd get bored...they only ever stay in resorts, stay in their bubble, and never actually experience other cultures...it's totally wasted on them.

I totally see your point but I doubt either of them even knew the definition of misogyny when they got married. Her mother was in fact the one who encouraged her to marry him. In a consentual relationship age gaps are not always morally wrong, creepy yes but not necessarily bad. I do truly hope Valeria is safe and happy with Gary

I am so glad I found this thread. I used to watch Valeria a lot a few years ago before she had Max, but eventually couldn’t stand it anymore. The way that old man Gary talks to his wife is DISGUSTING. Honestly I remember watching a vlog she did where she was out for brunch with grandpa Gary, and he completely condescended her on camera and gave her a full mainsplain lecture on business and how businesses survive because she had an issue with the size of a tomato on her plate. I know a lot of you have your issues with Valeria as a person and I respect and understand that, but tbh I think she must be so run down and exhausted with having to live with a disgraceful man like that. Nobody deserves to be treated like that, especially on camera where she can’t even see it infront of her own eyes in post production. He’s pounced on her brand and taken over, capitalizing on their three young children like they’re monetized assets. I saw their age gap video on Instagram today ‘things about our relationship that make people uncomfortable’ and I just got major ick. I’ve always looked at the comments and just never found anyone raising concerns, so I’m so so glad to have found this thread! Idk what you guys think, but I think Gary needs to go.

Yeah idk why but people in the comments are always in awe with Gary Even some people here were claiming he’s great. Absolutely disgusting though on the other hand she kind of should have known what she was getting to marrying him.
