Yep and I get the impression he would definitely be the type to make it super difficult and sabotage her if she started a serious conversation and decided to leave. His brittle ego would be so attacked and he would do stuff like talk shit about her online, argue about the custody and make all sort of stupid shit.

BUT as soon as i wasn't comfortable with her content i just unfollowed her, I don't support the way her husband seems to see her as a business opportunity and her acting like a helpless mom

I agree! I actually really enjoyed her videos a while ago, and I do like her style and her fashion tips but it all just seems a little over the top now with how many people she has working for her etc. And yeah Gary just annoys me, he is absolutely not husband goals.

I feel like you are mixing up a lot of things here. I feel that you are taking the image that they sell way too serious. They are on youtube monetizing themselves. If I want to see something more relatable I would watch Beatrice Chey want to sell this picture perfect family. There are tons of people who want to see that so they are making money of off it.

I do not think that she pretends to be married out of love. She was quite honest about how it started out. They do show how much they love eachother now. If that is real or not, it works for them.

I do not think that you gan generalise the age difference between 18 and 40. She comes from poverty and from a young age already traveled the world on her own. That means she is a lot more street smart than a 18 year old kid who never done anything herself. Still living at home, never traveled or paid a bill.

Being a scammer is not a good thing but he is not the only one who will go out of his way to make money.

Cancel culture is a thing and you are living it. Do not spend your energy on people who are trying to let you know that the world is not as black or white as you think it is. You do not get it, you do not want to get it or you pretend not to get it. You do you boo. You live and you learn and maybe someday you will know what we are trying to say here.

It’s painfully obvious that Valeria was sold by her mother to Gary to groom. Her mannerisms are very childlike and she doesn’t seem well adjusted to the world. She was a teenager who bore the children of a man who in some cultures could be her father. The content is uncomfortable because there is an obvious power imbalance in their relationship. The only people who relate to her are other women who were groomed or wannabe influencers.

I think Valeria is very beautiful and has a lot of potential given how young she is. I hope she takes the time to rebrand herself and leave Gary while she still has a zest for life.

I watched their recent q and a out of sheer boredom and someone asked if she would ever consider leaving Gary and he got so defensive when she replied 'where would I go and who am I without you?'' She does clarify she has options but she'd never think of leaving. She seemed so uncomfortable and the 'who am I without you' gives major red flags.

Also, she's always going on about putting her relationship first and giving time to her relationship. Is it normal to put so much thought and effort into a relationship? Shouldn't some things come naturally?

Exactly, I cannot for the life of me imagine being married to a much older guy at 19 (I'm 30 now.) for so long. I've been with my bf for almost 9 years, but we're close in age and we've done all the milestones and growing up, getting jobs etc together. I really hope she will go and do more in life, because she seems actually really nice and creative and funny, but with Gary lurking in the background there all judgy or, actually stepping into her videos all the time, I'd be scared to talk freely...

Yeah, but they're not Polish. She's Russian, he's Ukrainian, she grew up mainly in Israel and him in Canada. They never ever had any connection to Poland. (And Russia, Ukraine and Poland are three very different, separte, independent countries )

He's so mansplainy I can't even. Whenever he interviews people, he spends most of it just talking about himself. When he does ask a question, it's always a leading question because he wants to push a certain narrative.

Also, there's a huge elephant in the room: WHY does Gary have the time sit there and talk about himself with guests? Oh, maybe because he doesn't really do that much. It's so ironic how Gary likes to play the masculine macho man card, when he's really channeling his divine feminine energy.

I'm not defending her at all (because she sucks too), BUT: His wife is the breadwinner, she's younger and better looking, she's the one that took charge and made it happen when they were struggling in Canada, etc. He doesn't even balance it out by helping with the kids or anything. Like wtf does he bring to the table? NOTHING.

And it's not even his business, it's his wife's business. It's like he woke up one day and had the audacity to inform her that he was now going to run it for her.

That's all true and he knows that, that's why he always has to compensate so hard and talk like he's one big, fancy business manager. Which you can always tell. I know a guy, 36, broke as hell, never held a job more than two years, keeps borrowing money in large sums and can't even take care of his small kids without his wife, who is unfortunately very quiet and reserved, but keeps the family together. That one loves to show off fancy useless gadgets and expensive rented cars, too...

Urm a man many many years older seeking out and then settling down with a very young girl who is barely old enough to have lived much of an independent life after her teen years is problematic full stop and there are layers to this from misogyny, power that men assume over men, the age dynamic (which is incredibly important and overlooked and condoned far too much). To me, these actions are very questionable and give me a negative view of his character

The most important factor with all of this is Valeria's own opinions on her marriage. Why don't we let her speak for herself if she is experiencing oppressive misogyny? We should also share genuine concern and empathy for her if she is being harmed in any way. Simply hating on their relationship is pointless if we don't actually care about her safety. I believe she can speak for herself about her own life
