What kind of computers are you all using that 10 mins to get started??

'Getting going' for the day is so vague. I work on software projects and when we scope out work, even though our days are 8 hour work days, we always use 6/6.5 hours as an estimate for a work day on actual project material because people always get pulled into other tasks - answering emails, messages, HR stuff etc.
I’m talking coming in, unpacking their stuff (we hot-desk), getting their laptop set up, logging into the systems, going to the loo, making a drink etc.

I personally don't like workplaces or bosses who micromanage and track every minute and second of work done. It feels like school. If people get their work done it seems like it doesn't matter.

It’s annoying when people count every second and minute that they work. Won’t stay a minute past their finish time but spend half the day avoiding doing anything useful🤣🤣🤣
Why would you work any more than you should 😂. Everyone is replaceable - if I got hit by a bus they’d have someone else in my job within a month. I do what I’m required to do and they pay my wages, that’s it. I’m not gonna be on my deathbed wishing I’d spent more time working

Depends on the job though - if you have tasks that need to be done between 9am and 9.15 and you’re not ready to do them, then it’s a problem.

Like if you work for a recruitment agency and you need to find cover because someone has called in sick, and all your candidates have found other placements for the day by the time you get round to calling them.

Britney spears is more mental than ever.
Apart from the swearing I can see myself having similar conversations with my children.

Which is probably why my pre-teen daughter "hates this family" and "wants to move to a new family"

She is free to a new home, but there is a list of must haves - not being asked to do any chores, even those involving her own laundry and dishes, not sitting down to a family dinner (once a week, not every day) never making her bed or changing her sheets, booby trapping her bedroom with an assortment of plugs, hair brushes (that she never uses) books (school work that she rarely does) clothes (dirty, that she refuses to pick up) and random other accoutrements, being allowed to leave a trail of destruction behind her in all other areas of the house, not being asked to feed her pet fish (that she asked for and promised she would care for) an unlimited data phone and unlimited wifi so that her TikTok viewing is never encroached upon, all the snacks and treats she demands.

There is certainly more, but I feel like I have painted a fair picture of her.

Any takers? I could even throw the middle child in for free? (Disclaimer: he is the one aforementioned for having baby birds in his pockets, bringing shrews into the house etc. but he is exceptionally cute)

Let me know asap.

my opinion of the day is that we need to normalise kink shaming 😂
My sister said in the poshest of voices today that she was shocked at how judgemental I was being when I said that women who do only fans and porn ‘because they genuinely want to’ just perpetuate the cycle of abuse for women who are stuck in the sex industry and can’t leave.
Then made a comment about me being a prude because I think that the increased accessibility to porn has a detrimental effect on some men and boys.

Some people are absolutely work shy and will do the bare minimum including avoiding work all day or any possible moment then get arsey about a 30 seconds or a minute over their shift when they probably owe their employer much more in wasted time during the day.

Obv no one wants to do extra! Being replaceable is nothing to do with it either really

For context I'm young, I understand this might not be as much of a problem with other age groups:

It is sooo obvious when a guy has watched too much porn or has learnt everything from porn, even if they somehow have a high body count so should have surely learnt something that wasn't based on porn

Tbf my kink shaming post was more about weird random kinks, if people want to do sex work or whatever I don’t care, I’d just hope they’re doing it because they want to do it. I heard of something called bunny play where you act like a rabbit and use a carrot?? Sorry but stuff like that I will shame till the cows come home 🤷‍♀️🤣 and I think violent sex can often a stem from deeper issue/a result of abuse that should be worked through. I’m sure there are some healthy relationships who do stuff like that but I’m meaning more often than not I’d assume it stems from something deeper

There may be a few nymphomaniacs out there, but the vast majority of women who do sex work to survive do not want to do it lol.

I don’t know that I’d agree with that with the rise of Only Fans etc, if your lucky more money than you’d make at your 9-5 for posting pics and vids. If you fully understand the risk and repercussions and consent to it I don’t really see the issue. I also work a normal job to survive and not because I necessarily want to

I don't particularly care about people having weird kinks in private as long as everyone consents and no one is harmed

My problem is when it becomes public. Social media seems to have made it far too public. I think in a way it has a detrimental effect on everyone if you find it while young, how many girls out there think they have to be submissive and let the guy be rough just because that's what is shown online and a lot of these kinks depend on power imbalances? It doesn't matter how much you talk about aftercare if the actual act itself, and the overall relationship, is based on said power imbalance and a lot of kids will be finding it before they become sexually active

93% of sex workers want to leave.

Only fans is a grooming tactic to lure poor girls into porn once again, the concept of taking a few sultry selfies in a nice bra and knickers and getting paid a duck ton doesn’t exist, no the ones earning so much money that they were able to buy a house more than likely had to do the most depraved sexual acts possible on camera to cater Cumbrains sick sick depravity.

It’s no different to when porn became mainstream when porn managers would scout trailer parks for pretty girls who were clearly damaged from their childhood and promised them the world, only to be whored out on camera and made to do stuff they didn’t sign up for.

I remember reading a horrific story about a girl who’s first porn shoot was a gangbang and she was left in an awful state, kidney infections, tears in her anus and vagina and pinworms. She wasn’t even told that she was going to be doing such a thing. Sadly because she didn’t have the best education due to her childhood, she didn’t know that the contract they made her sign basically gave them the permission to do whatever they wanted.

Porn is evil. It preys on women and the current false narrative that it is empowering for women is just another excuse for men to feel less guilty for abusing and exploiting women. If porn and prostitution were truly empowering for women, men would be against it.

Porn is evil.
I also wanna add that most women in sex work are not even doing it online through OF or camming (which at least offers relative safety in that they’re not at risk of getting raped or killed), they’re doing traditional prostitution and are at massive risk of harm and exploitation. That’s why I will never think that sex work is empowering.

ETA there’s a huge movement at the moment to get pornhub shut down due to the fact there are so many videos on the site showing underage girls being raped. It’s absolutely horrific and pornhub just doesn’t take it down.

Also even with camming, a lot of women are still being exploited, trafficked women are spotted on cams all the time, there’s dozens probably even hundreds of videos of camming farms being raided by sex crime departments and government intelligent agencies due to reports of women being abused and trafficked. Men will exploit women in anyway possible.
