Media keeps mentioning this big Russian offensive coming. None have made much difference so far have they so don't get why they keep going on about this one?

As I understand it there's been multiple pushes but a major one expected once the weather conditions improve, the reports talk about a lot of the new recruits being moved about to particular areas in preparation

The way this is described as 'next major offensive' and the subsequent notes make it sound like the Russians are undecided yet as to whether to fully commit to this one so whilst major might not be 'the'.

We don't have any old jets they are all new and highly technical. The elite.
Ukraine pilots and ground crew/ support haven't the infrastructure in place for their electronics and state of the art engineering and powersystems.
Also if one is shot down by the Russians onto Russian soil , in one piece, they'd then have knowledge of our high-tech ( much of it secret)
