Keir just wasn’t strong enough at PMQs today, Boris and the Tories simply don’t care about us and our stories from the last year. Boris needs to resign like Allegra did, absolute farce.

Plan B is a load of tosh given the Christmas party and lack of responsibility taken by the Government over the past year.

yeah really, who would want to take over from him at this point?
A glory seaking psychopath? Probably quite a few waiting around 😆

Realistically Johnson and the conservative party will want covid to be over and then for him to disappear off and have a year with someone new going into the election.

I think if they eventually decide there is someone else to take over he will leave on the pretence of "health grounds" or something rather than just resigning

Whoever takes over will always be worse than the last one.. We'v gone from David Cameron, to Theresa May, to Bojo... I mean, imagine if it was Priti Patel, Gove or Sunak?

Do any of them really care? I doubt sir Keir, Angela Rayner, Emily Thornbery, Nicola sturgeon or Ian blackford care much either about the little people.

watching Stratton cry as she resigned was just enfuriating, I don't know how she has the gall to do it. People who have lost loves ones or their livelihoods from this governments constant messes should be the ones crying, not her for laughing about breaking the rules most of us followed

Obviously gone to the same acting school as Matt Hancock.
Ah..but he wasn’t at the party…although he hasn’t said where he was

There's still more to come, I don't feel this is the end. Out of three or more rumoured parties its only a matter of time until a photo or whatapp message appears.

The sleaze is coming thick and fast now, even in 92 it didn't really take hold until the year before the election. We're still 4 years from an election 😭

I wonder who leaked it, waiting a year to do so there must be something going on behind the scenes to push someone to do it now

1) I don’t see why Allegra Stratton had to quit when she’s apparently did nothing, the other man in the video was saying equally silly things and lots of other parties were had? Seems like she’s been made a scapegoat of it?
2) I read it was an ITV exclusive and since she used to work there I’m thinking maybe it was a disgruntled former coworker who put the video out there?
3) I’m probably in the minority here but I’m not that hurt that they had a party and didn’t follow the guidelines because other members of their cabinet did and I feel that there are bigger issues with the government’s handling of the pandemic than a Christmas party?

i think more than the party itself it is basicaly her laughing at the public. as usual though they just choose one person to act as a scapegoat

It was a no brainer for her to go, she had a six figure salary and not really any job to do.

I'm not that bothered by the party either, it sounds like it was a few drinks and nibbles for people that were in the office working. We did the same where I worked.

I think the mishandling of Afghanistan and the people left to be killed is far far bigger than a few office drinks with cheese. But that's all been buried now

I didn’t realise that she didn’t work for Boris anymore until yesterday. I’m not sure what her job was before she quit. I wonder if she regrets chucking it in at ITV for something that has messed up quite spectacularly…

(totally off topic but @Yel I’ve been wondering for a long time who your avatar is? She looks familiar and I keep thinking it’s Dorit from RHOBH but also I’m thinking maybe not?)
