So many people genuinely think Tory values are about starving disabled people and making poor people freeze to death. It's not really helping anyone. This Tory rum narrative is adding to the toxicity. I speak to gen-z ers who have never heard about the ideological values such as a smaller state with less interference, how some functions in society could be done more efficiently privately rather than by the state and giving people the tools to be self sufficient.

Not that what we have with the current government is traditional conservativism. If anything there's actually very little to seperate them with labour at the moment.

This is the same with the whole Brexit thing, Labour not presenting any real pro EU arguments (and there were loadss they could have) instead just insulting people, how on earth they thought that would be a successful strategy I will never know

Because they think they are above us and we are just peasants. They forget that they serve us. People need to remember all this when it comes to voting.

It is ridiculous, the job of an mp is not a 9-5 either, it should be (if you are doing it well) a job that requires loadsss of hours of work, there is no way they should have the time to do another job on top of it, it is well paid for this reason

They reckon his bumbling mess of a speech would deflect them from voting through the health and social care bill.. where people who have £1million homes can keep 90% of their asset, but if your home is worth 70k, you lose most of it.

Boris started out with bold ideals and promises, yet has failed to deliver on many. The covid excuse won't wash for ever more.

There are many people whom voted Conservative but are unlikely to come the next election, if action is still not taken on a number of important issues.

Rather than wrapping himself up in knots over climate change (for which the UK's contribution to lower greenhouse gases won't make a huge difference), Boris needs to sort out the issues the majority of people are most concerned about:

The continuing covid pandemic.
The continuing migrant crisis.
The increasing cost of living.
The issues in Northern Ireland
The problems with health & social care.
Leveling up the North of England.

I'm traditionally a Conservative voter, however this current shower haven't got a clue how to run a bath, let alone the country.

Are Labour any better? Absolutely not!

Both trade blows with each other in the theatrics known as the House of Commons. Yet neither have any credible ideas to sort out many of the problems that exist.

As it currently stands, neither would get my vote in a forthcoming election.

UK politics is in such a shambles, I am a labour voter and cannot understand why we are not walking it against this ridiculous tory government, yet even then we are too crap, embarassing in the extreme.
No one I know who is a Conservative voter supports the current government (unsurprisingly..) This is the problem with our party system imo, when both parties are crap we have no viable choice

People are assuming she might have leaked it to push bojo out and sunak in... Also in PMQs, while The scottish minister was telling bojo to resign or removed, sunak was sitting there nodding his head agreeing with him. Will find video if I can.
