Well aware of the study and it's complete failure to consider the many other reasons besides ULEZ which could be why air pollution has fallen, five of which I gave in my post. That was my point, that study and others that only consider ULEZ and don't properly look into the many other changes that have happened in London in the same time period, are deeply flawed and can't be trusted.

Are you suggesting that ULEZ is not the sole reason or is not a contributing factor at all on why the air quality has improved in London?
It's a contributing reason, amongst other changes in London such as the five I gave. It's not the sole reason. It's wrong to try to claim, as that link above and Mr Khan are doing, that just because air quality is better now than it was in 2019, as a total justification for the ULEZ charges. Because maybe the general and continuous improvement in ICE technology over the same period or the fewer diesel buses on the road since 2019 are actually the bigger factors in the improved air quality. Maybe the air quaity will go to tit again if traffic reverts to pre-covid levels, who knows?
Fair enough. I agree that ULEZ isn't the sole reason for the improvement. It's one part of a multifaceted approach to improving London's air quality, alongside the other factors you've mentioned.
I think whatever side of the political divide you're on, we can all agree that not having black bogies any more is a good thing.

Having lived in London for a few years I agree black bogies are NEVER a good thing to have.
Not to mention Reform's own Nadhim Zahawi who was born in Iraq. And several other (less notable) foreign-born candidates who stood for them in the 2024 general election. I'm sure there will be plenty more of their councillors in this category too.

He dodges and weaves his way through politics, intoxicated by the grandstanding, political exposure and £££. His rhetoric may be in a dream world, talk is cheap, actions are easier said than done. Most of their posturing about what they would do would never come to fruition.
They have 8 MP's (is it still 8?) does he have another 640 disciples who rest on his every word, to contest every constituency at a GE. Some that have already tried to contest parliamentary seats have been found that their previous activities were less than squeaky clean.
Reform say that they have got rid of Starmer, when in effect the Labour Party needed no help, they did it all by themselves.
