So the two men James Orr, head of policy and Dan Jukes who is Farage's top aide, have 'stepped aside', the have 'left the building, they are not coming back'. Wheeling, dealing, bending the rules, they are all in it up to their necks. It is disgraceful that a political party is so deep in dodgy dealing, even the original Del Boy has nothing on this lot.
One by one each one of Reform are being found out to not being straight up with funding, donations, polling and abiding by electoral law. Obviously 'bang for buck' Farage has nothing to do with it at all.

If you’re not dodgy in the first place then no amount of hidden cameras could film you happily accepting iffy donations because you wouldn’t do it.
The lengths some people will go to to defend these mats. I’m sure it would be just the same if instead of Snake oil salesman Farage, the “hoax” was perpetrated on Burnham or Polanski. But I’m willing to bet my left one that Burnham and Polanski, despite their many MANY faults wouldn’t be caught dead doing anything like this.

Suella Braverman being interviewed just now - straight into the 'infamy infamy' zone, wtte 'when I joined reform I expected there to be the media hit jobs', she trusts the judgement of the glorious leader, and then on the dodgy money 'no laws have been broken' which AFAICT is one of those deliberately misleading truths, IIRC funding is covered in the first instance by rules not laws (which don't come into play until after rule breakage and then a process of reporting?).

Laws have not been broken ....... yet.
Until a formal investigation has been carried out, when a conclusion could be that laws were broken.
Does Braverman really not realise if Reform get in and things don't turn around as promised that the knives won't be out for her?
I'm right wing but no fan of Farage and Reform (as stated many times here).
I believe the vast majority of the "far right" (Reform themselves aren't actually far right in policy, btw) supporters they have aren't particularly au fait with politics - if they were they'd have seen Farage for what he is years and years ago like the rest of us did. One thing he is extraordinarily good at is drumming up political support from those otherwise disengaged, which could be seen as a positive, but unfortunately means the majority of his supporters (and they are his, not Reform's) don't care about any of this kind of thing, because they don't understand the wider implications or why we have these rules in the first place (hello, Russia and China!).
Long way of saying unless they throw the book at him and he's forced out, he isn't going anywhere in my view; he'll hang around while he still has his cult of supporters to whom he can do no wrong. There's no way they'll get in at the next GE though, there's been too much damage done already and we're not even close to one yet, it was looking worrying 6 months ago.
