Them two children can’t even speak English let alone any other language. But you can rest assured that they could say every curse word under the sun. There isn't a hope in hell that she has a clue about Irish. Even if a person had a good grasp of Irish during their school years, unless they are using it they lose it. I can't imagine Julie doing her Irish verbs or comhrà religiously as a teenager

I think for Julie it's a status symbol for being Irish just like the irish dancing she's in for some land when she finally cops on no one really cares if her children speak Irish or can dance or play rugby or gaa sports other parents really only care if your child is polite caring and a good friend to their child. How can her children really make friends being dragged here there and everywhere where will they learn to socialise
