Hi all!

Been TTC for over a year now (diagnosed with PCOS 2018) and I have been referred to the local hospital to try Clomid. Has anyone here ever tried it? All I hear about it is horror stories!
I started clomid this month and had no issues! Some occasional hot flushes at night the days I was on it but it may also be due to bedroom being overly heated and me reading too much into it due to the horror stories I read too 🤣

Guys I need advice. Caved in yesterday at only 5/6 dpo (I know, ridicolous but couldn't help it). I thought it would calm the urge and instead it was like picking at a scab, now I have had to test today too and I all get is of course stark whites! Bearing in mind that not only it's too early and unlikely I will get a BFP due to both me and hubby having infertility factors, it's also expensive, a waste of time and mentally consuming!!! Any tips on how to stop the cycle??

eBay cheapies. I got 50 tests for £4
Last month I didn’t buy any tests so I couldn’t test.
this month since I have The cheapies, I’ve tested quite abit 🤣can totally relate though. I’ve tested 4 times today because I “thought I saw something” and I’m only like7 dpo. It gets addictive 😭 (to save money anyway, no advice on stopping testing early because as you can see I CANT DO IT 🤣)

So I’m a day late for AF today which has never happened before (I’m super regular 28 days cycle). Tested and got bfn. Feel like my body is playing a cruel trick on me ☹

8dpo today. Boob are absolutely killing me. Pretty sure that’s too early for it to be pregnancy related so I’m going to say my periods on it’s way😫
Comparing to my symptoms last month I’d say I’m out but we’ll see 😬

Feeling very disheartened. Started on clomid by my GP this month, ovulated cd18. Had bloods taken cd21 and looked I ovulated well. Today cd25 - 7dpo- started bleeding :( looks like a period rather than implantation. So my luteal phase is non existent. I have read GPs in the UK don't really believe in this/are very reluctant to prescribe progesterone. I have contacted them and will see what they say. Has anyone ever been in this situation or has advice? I have had lots of tests done to look into pcos/ovulation before - is it worth booking a private fertility specialist and bring these to them to see what they say? Feeling SO deflated!

Can I ask you a question. What do you mean about your breasts killing you. As I am also 8 DPO and I’ve felt the odd times slight pressure on my breasts and a random tingling session. Is that what your experiencing ? As I wouldn’t say mine is painful. Every symptom I think it’s a possibility for pregnancy. Hehe

Mine were like this the other day when I was a week after ovulation. They were back to normal the day after though, so weird.

After almost 1,5 years of trying... It looks... Positive?
I can't really believe it, so I'll retest tomorrow morning. But that looks like two lines right?! My partner and I are so confused and happy and confused!

Last periods were 19/12 and 21/01. I have PCOS and currently on my second cycle with Letrozole. Was expecting my period around today, but had no real PMS symptoms, so decided testing was in order.

I saw someone asking about Clomid. I've used that before as well (3 cycles, until it was out of stock or something), and had no real complaints. Letrozole came/comes with more complaints (nauseous around ovulation, very painful period), although dosage is perfect for me.

Deffo negative! Keep trying! :D

My period is due today and I've got usual symptoms of it coming so :/ and we don't have a donor lined up for next month so that's me done for a few months I think :(

Hi all,

We only DTD a couple of times in my fertile days and they weren't even the peak days it was a couple of days before. I was ill and had a few days in hospital on my peak days, home now but I'm gutted that I feel like I have no chance. Anyone here have a first child conceived early on in the fertile window?

I work in healthcare and would happily have the vaccine but was advised against if TTC. I'm not sure if the info has changed, I'm literally being harassed. My problem is the stopping TTC for a couple of months, if I could carry on then I'd have it. It's been over a year of trying, I just can't stop after all this, does that make sense? What if it was meant to be my time. Sorry I know that's stupid.

On the posts about testing, I stopped and it feels so much better. The thing is, you test and get negative and you still have the hope anyway, you may test again, but until AF comes you keep hoping and it makes the upset longer I found. I found it far harder than just waiting for AF to come.

Congrats to you all who have had their positives. Xx

Is this positive or negative ovulation test? X
I think it’s negative. I’ve got these tests this month, I used others last month and I don’t think they’re as good! My peak looks barely there on these tests than the others last month. It’s crazy how quickly you can miss it!! Xx

Hey, unfortunately I can’t offer any advice but wanted to let you know I’m in a similar position. My Luteal Phase is at best 9 days (and that’s if I ovulate pretty much straight after a positive OPK so it’s probably more like 7-8 days), and I’ve read the same online about the NHS not recognising it as an issue and being reluctant to prescribe progesterone. Let us know what the Dr says. I hope this gets sorted for you 🤞. I would also be keen to know if anyone on here has had similar issues. I’ve got PCOS so not sure if that adds to this issue...
