Hey ladies,

Looks like the OPKs were right. I now have 3 positive tests which is great. I also have covid so hoping it doesn't interfere with anything. I am already very nauseous, just like with my first. Wish me luck. Sending so much love and luck to you all. This was our fourth month trying, the things we did different was I used the ClearBlue digital ovulation sticks rather than the cheapos. I also didnt take the luisa coq10 tablets (I had for 3 mths), choosing to get the more expensive ovulation sticks instead. Obviously, might just be luck but I thought I'd let you know. Xxx
Congratulations ❤ I hope you recover quickly from Covid. X

I’m loosely doing BBT using natural cycles, the first month I woke up every day at 2.30am and then could not get back to sleep. So I stopped worrying about it so much. I know it’s not going to be very accurate but it’s better than nothing because I’ve got pcos I’ve not got a clue when or if I ovulate 😊
Have you looked in to Ovusense at all? It's an ovulation monitor specifically designed for those with PCOS. I've heard a couple of success stories from people who use it.

I had all of the ovulation signs yesterday - a positive OPK (though only ‘high’ on Clearblue digital), pain in the general ovary area, lots of EWCM, which I don’t often get, and increased sex drive. I took another OPK this morning and it’s lower - still a fairly dark second line but a good way away from a positive. Is this normal after ovulation? I don’t normally test after I’ve had a peak but because I didn’t have one on the clearblue I thought it was worth a try.

I’m hoping my OvuSense will show a temperature raise tonight!
I OPK test with strips and I find that I get my positive/peak the day before ovulation. So I'll have the positive the day before the app predicted I'll ovulate but then the day after the line is nowhere near as strong, but still darker than the start of my cycle. Hope that makes sense! Good luck to you 🤞🏻

unfortunately OPKs aren’t suitable for those with PCOS, as due to imbalanced hormones there may not be a big enough LH surge. I have PCOS too so not sure how we’re meant to get pregnant 🤣 x
😱 I didn’t know this at all. Don’t know what to do then 😭

just had a little Google and seems bbt may be the way to go again

I’ve been lurking on this thread for a couple of days now after my period came this month. I had my implant removed at the end of November after being on some form of contraception for 11 years & my periods came back 3 weeks later. We’ve not said we’re trying specifically but I’ve never been so gutted to have my period in my life!
I’ve been tracking everything on Flo so far, I’m interested in tracking my BBT, do I need a specific thermometer or will any do? I’m approaching 30 quicker than I’d like and teenager me thought I’d have 2 kids by now!
I just used a normal under the tongue thermometer from boots

Hi Ladies, so lovely to see so many positives. I said a week or so ago I was bowing out due to my issues with folic acid levels. Anyway, I had a test in the bathroom and I am roughly coming to the end of my TWW so I thought f**k it why not what have I got to lose my dr all but told me I wouldn't conceive till my folate corrected itself more. Anyway, low and behold I got a faint positive. I'm over the moon but apprehensive as I know I already have low folate so this pregnancy will come at extra risks as I can't absorb folic acid. But i just had to put it somewhere. I have my fingers crossed for everyone of you still in the TWW!! Thank you for those who I've spoken to since I joined. It's been lovely having somewhere to discuss it all! ❤
Yay!!!! Wishing you health 💕

I’m out again this month. BFN yesterday and my temp dropped today. Expecting AF tomorrow.
Been at this nearly 2 years now. Spent most of my life trying not to get pregnant now here we are 😅 the irony.
Have been referred for a hycosy. Anyone any experience?
I’ve had one, but was under general anaesthetic so I don’t think that helps much 🤣 but she did say my tubes were very very blocked and struggled to unblock them and really had to increase the pressure, but managed to in the end 😊 think I’m glad I was asleep! Would have freaked out if I knew when I was awake!

My BBT is currently staying high (CD27), and I was feeling really optimistic, but now I’m starting with a headache and cramping - my usual signs a couple of days before AF arrives. Gutted.

So just a little update. I tested with a 25miu test when I got my positive yesterday. Had some really intense cramping today. Took another 25miu test this morning and pretty much so light. So tested with clear blue early detection and that’s pretty much negative too. (It’s more sensitive so should have been darker than the other tests) so another chemical 😭
I am so sorry to hear this. Sending you strength 💕

Yeah there's a heartbeat at 7 weeks. Getting a scan before that is probably a waste. I had one at 5 weeks to rule out a repeat ectopic.

Are these the ones Luisa Zussman was talking about? Looks like Holland and barrett have a good deal on them now View attachment 395857Are
You need the high strength ones. They are 300mg per tablet and she recommended taking 3 per day so 900mg in total. I took 2 a day purely down to cost and conceived within 3 months of taking them and the DHA tablets she also recommended. I’m 43 by the way so took them as they are recommended to boost egg quality. Good luck on your journey.

Thanks for your replies regarding pregnacare. Could definitely be my cycles getting back into the swing of things after the pill and nothing to do with the tablets.
Just noticed last month was definitely different to the other month as I keep a tracker so who knows.
Good luck to you all especially to you @x500days

After almost 1,5 years of trying... It looks... Positive?
I can't really believe it, so I'll retest tomorrow morning. But that looks like two lines right?! My partner and I are so confused and happy and confused!

Last periods were 19/12 and 21/01. I have PCOS and currently on my second cycle with Letrozole. Was expecting my period around today, but had no real PMS symptoms, so decided testing was in order.

I saw someone asking about Clomid. I've used that before as well (3 cycles, until it was out of stock or something), and had no real complaints. Letrozole came/comes with more complaints (nauseous around ovulation, very painful period), although dosage is perfect for me.
Looks positive to me! Congrats ❤

Hi all can I join this thread? I don’t track my ovulation and my cycles can be anthing from 28-42 days (usually) this month I’m on cCD 55 and still nothing! I’ve tested, got silly thin line on a clear blue, a faint line (I think) on a 45 second first response and a positive on a cheapy BUT not pregnant on a digital and negative on a few others I’ve taken. Pregnancy support think I’m testing too early and have told me to wait until Tuesday! Am worried about chemical and miscarrying :( any Advice? Will attach the pics xx

I’m currently miscarrying. Sorry if that is TMI but because it was so early, nobody had been told other than my husband and I just need someone to talk to. This is my second miscarriage this year and my third in two years. I’d been put onto Dalteparin and aspirin when this pregnancy was confirmed as I have sticky blood (I’m under the care of my local recurrent miscarriage clinic) and I honestly thought that with treatment plan in place this time would be different. I’m just heartbroken. I desperately want a child but I don’t know how much more I can put my body and heart through when this is the result.
So sorry to hear that, I feel heartbroken for you ☹
