8dpo today. Boob are absolutely killing me. Pretty sure that’s too early for it to be pregnancy related so I’m going to say my periods on it’s way😫
Comparing to my symptoms last month I’d say I’m out but we’ll see 😬
Mine were like this the other day when I was a week after ovulation. They were back to normal the day after though, so weird.

I was so so against getting the vaccine, until I read that getting covid can affect fertility. Might not be true, but I looked further into the vaccine itself and I cant see how it could affect fertility. So if offered, I think I will get it.

After almost 1,5 years of trying... It looks... Positive?
I can't really believe it, so I'll retest tomorrow morning. But that looks like two lines right?! My partner and I are so confused and happy and confused!

Last periods were 19/12 and 21/01. I have PCOS and currently on my second cycle with Letrozole. Was expecting my period around today, but had no real PMS symptoms, so decided testing was in order.

I saw someone asking about Clomid. I've used that before as well (3 cycles, until it was out of stock or something), and had no real complaints. Letrozole came/comes with more complaints (nauseous around ovulation, very painful period), although dosage is perfect for me.
Oh wow it’s deffos positive!! huge congratulations ❤❤

I've literally just had my implant out last week so very new to TTC (not even in ovulation yet)... Is it awful to say I really don't want a Christmas baby? I've already mentioned this to my partner and he was a bit annoyed! 😕
We have a christmas baby already too so won’t be trying next month! It’s not awful at all! I don’t want two christmas babies and christmas. Nevermind my bank balance but the years excitement is all crammed together!

That's very unfortunate. I went to see a gynaecologist after about 10 months of TTC, as I hadn't had my period for 4 months by then. Felt as fertile as a panda...
Can't you get a second opinion? Surely if you're already diagnosed with PCOS, it doesn't make sense to TTC for a year first?
Even with the medication it still took me five cycles to get there.
Yes I might ring the doctors and see what they say! That’s what I thought, seems silly to wait a whole year. And congratulations on your BFP!!

Hi how is everyone doing?
I’m about to start my TWW. I feel like my AF week & ovulation come around really quickly but the TWW always feels like 2 years. But I guess with lockdown easing soon it will be easier to stay distracted with other things.
I’m feeling quite relaxed this month, I’ve asked my husband to hide the stash of HPT I’ve kept in the bathroom to stop early testing and didn’t bother with an OPK this month. We just DTD when we felt was right. Got everything crossed this month.
Good luck to you all ❤.
Fingers crossed for you.
I’m sick of the disappointment of trying already and it’s only been a few months. The world has been a shit show for a year so it’s putting me in a negative mindset which I’m sure isn’t helping us.

I used some OPKs for the first time this month but didn’t get a clear clear peak (some quite close by eye despite the app still saying they were low) and to be honest I found it draining thinking about it so much so I’ve used the box up and scrapped the idea for now. I’m pretty sure I ovulated last month due to pains & mucus but neither of those have happened this month so I am just waiting for my period to arrive. I think I’ll ask to speak to the private consultant again and ask to start metformin after all (have PCOS and she suggested it in Jan but I said no but now I’m thinking maybe I should).
One thing I’m struggling with is my sex drive - it’s never been through the roof but since I came off the pill start of last year it’s definitely fallen even more which isn’t great for trying for a baby. Managed to do it 3 times across the middle of the month but I know that could improve. Haven’t told husband I’m tracking my cycle that closely as I don’t want to make it seem like a chore and be like right we need to have sex now! He also doesn’t have too high a sex drive. The more we do it the more we both want it but I just.... often don’t! I always enjoy it once we get in to it, I don’t think feeling a bit fat and pale and frumpy at the minute is helping either. Any suggestions? Are there any supplements you’ve tried which increase sex drive? I kind of want to make sure we give it a good go and enjoy ourselves to the max before we may need to go down a more clinical route to conceive. I felt good last month that I’d ovulated (have been taking inofolic which has improved my cycle) but no signs this month so feeling a bit weird again. My skin has also broken out like a teenager’s. Hormones! Just love them!! Men do not realise how lucky they are sometimes!
I also have PCOS and am taking Letrozole at the moment. I do recommend taking medication to ensure your cycles are regular. I started on Clomid (3 cycles), but we didn't find the right dosage (5*1pill was too much, 5*1/2 wasn't enough). With Letrozole (currently 2nd cycle) everything works better and dosage is fine. However, periods have become much more painful again... Ah well...

I feel you! I used to think I was blessed with perfect skin, turns out, that's was just the pill 😅 I look like a teenager during periods. Pimples have gone down now that I'm taking medication though.

On sex drive I can't help you unfortunately. I used to be a freaking bunny when my partner and I got together, but that kinda disappeared over time. I had high hopes when I stopped taking the pill, but it didn't come back at all 😩 It's not that I don't enjoy it anymore (I really do), it's just difficult to get in the mood...
That said, we had sex for about 10 days straight this month, because I'm so sick of not getting pregnant, didn't want to take risks 😅 (previous times we'd be active every other day)

Period is due around the 21st.
Really unsure. Had cramps and was nauseous the past two days (around 8 and 9 dpo). I'm also aware of my uterus, if that makes sense. Feeling better today. Hoping it was implantation. But my hair's getting greasier a bit faster, have a new, subtle pimple today. I honestly don't know.
Might do a test on Sunday. But I'm also scared to do so, because I've only had heartwrenching negatives 😩

Sorry for rambling, had to get it off my chest...

I’m currently miscarrying. Sorry if that is TMI but because it was so early, nobody had been told other than my husband and I just need someone to talk to. This is my second miscarriage this year and my third in two years. I’d been put onto Dalteparin and aspirin when this pregnancy was confirmed as I have sticky blood (I’m under the care of my local recurrent miscarriage clinic) and I honestly thought that with treatment plan in place this time would be different. I’m just heartbroken. I desperately want a child but I don’t know how much more I can put my body and heart through when this is the result.
oh my goodness I’m so so sorry to read that! I can’t imagine what you’re going through. Sending you so much love x x x

I bought a pack of two clear blue early detection tests today. I’m due on Boxing Day and I’m soo tempted to test in the next couple of days... but also worried about doing it in case it is negative. They say they’re pretty accurate for early testing but still 😬

We were both on the same page sort of, we kept on talking about children for a few months and when we would try, and in the end hubby said if we just keep talking about it, we’ll never decide to take the plunge, so we did and see what happens ☺ But I get the cringe bit! As I really wanted to start trying but he was a bit wary, but now it’s all good.

Currently at 2ww - slowest wait, ever! My periods are so erratic, the waiting is killing me! Last one was spotting for a week before my actual period started for another week so god knows what’s happening this month 😂 keeping my fingers crossed though!

It's only my second cycle using OPKs but when I started I was desperate for any advice I could find!

During my first cycle I tested once a day from CD6 until CD10, then I tested twice a day until I saw my first High levels on CD19, followed by the peak on CD20, then another High on CD21 followed by low levels until AF came (I stopped tracking at CD22). My last cycle was at 33 days.

This cycle I started tracking once a day at CD9 and started twice a day again on CD11. Too early to test twice a day technically but I do it because I am still relatively new to tracking and I want to be sure that I am not missing my increasing levels. I don't know for sure if I will see a peak on CD20 again this cycle or not!

My point is, looking at your screenshot, it looks like you are consistently testing once a day. I'd recommend testing twice a day to be sure you aren't missing anything! Also, our LH levels are highest between 12:00 pm - 20:00pm, I can see that you are testing quite early in the morning. Not sure if you are able to test later during the day, I test at around 12:30 pm and 16:30 pm, but this was after some trial and error.

Of course, there might be other causes for example that you have a longer cycle this month but I am not a doctor and only providing speculation here. I know how frustrating OPKs can be so hang in there x
I spoke too soon on this because when I tested this morning the line was far darker than it has been and according to my app today is the start of my peak window anyway which the test has now backed up. I'm so impatient it's unbelievable 😂

Hiya, looking for some advice, partic from those UK based! Sorry for long post ahead.

I am 31. Got put on the pill when I was about maybe 18 due to painful/heavy/slightly irregular periods. Stopped it in May 2019, got my first period back 3 months afterwards. Since then periods have again become irregular with cycles ranging from 26 to 50 days (ish).
I have hypothyroidism but it is well controlled via meds. Have had various investigations for pcos (scans etc) but they were inconclusive. My bmi is healthy but i do get cystic chin acne and I am slightly 'hairier' than average (although I wouldn't say I have hirsutism)

Started charting my BBTs in the Summer. BBTs seem to suggest I ovulate but this is late in the cycle (never before day 20) and period usually comes only a few days after that (on average just a week long 'luteal phase')

GP tested my progesterone levels twice on day 21 and once also day 26 and both times they were low. They say it's very unlikely I ovulate (BBT charts suggest differently but from what I have read and understood collating all the evidence together, even if I ovulate it's prob a 'weak' ovulation)

They are getting my partner's sperm re-tested (first time round his morphology was low 😬) and then they said they could put me on med to induce ovulation. From reading forums/websites online etc it seems rare GPs will lead on such a thing though, however the GP said it can be done via them. I will of course ask for more details but has anyone had a similar experience, having this done via GP?
Also did they get you do an internal scan - i had it a few times and hate it, can never relax and always made feel like I am silly :(
I will likely have to be put on clomid which is a medication to induce ovulation, in my area this is done by a dr through sub fertility clinic following a referral from your GP/practice nurse, but I know of other areas where gps will prescribe direct

I was due on Christmas Day and tested last night. But I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t have symptoms. Much easier to get period than negative test to be honest.
If you feel comfortable enough would you mind sharing what symptoms you had?

Wishful thinking really! My luteal phase was only 10 days which isn’t long enough neither 👎🏼 I was hopeful everything would be ok but obviously not! I hate pcos 🙄
I don’t know your personal circumstances obv but just to reassure 10 days is considered ok for luteal phase! It’s 9 or less that is a concern as far as I am aware xx

So glad yours was actually positive! It’s so confusing isn’t it. Here’s mine, don’t know if you can see it properly but there’s a faint line, even my partner noticed it (he usually doesn’t faint ones 🤣)

Yeah I’ve always been told pink ones are better and we’ve been trying for a year now and I’ve always used them but I’m stumped at the moment. I wasn’t aware indents were even a thing 🤣 I’ve actually had better lines on eBay cheapies but I haven’t given clear blue a try really apart from a digital to confirm. I’ve heard the blue ones are more prone to Evaps but they have good reviews so I’m gonna give them a try 🤣 when are you testing again? Fingers crossed it’s positive for you
I see something as well but like you say could go either way! I tested two days after that test and it was a strong line so I think you should test again! With any test

How frustrating, how many days late are you? Is it worth contacting doctors? My gp has an online chat set up not sure if yours has a similar service?
I'm 4 days late, giving it till Thursday and will call my GP but our surgery is now a vaccination hub so it's so hard to get in touch with them 😞 our online service is shocking too. If I've not bled by Thursday I'll be a week late so I Will bombard them ive never been late in my life before its so frustrating now

5 day DPO for me. Good luck! I feel like now I'm trying I'm so hyperaware of every little twinge in my body that sometimes I think I just imagine twinges that aren't there 😂
Yes me too! Haha. I have a lot of random twinges that I’ve only noticed since ttc! And I seem to have constant tummy ache for a week after ovulation!

Hope everyone’s ok
I actually had this the month I conceived last time and I noticed it as never had it before...not sure if it was related though!

hi all ! I had no idea this thread existed

We are currently about cycle 5 into trying for our second child , our son is 19 months old and was a very happy accident so we very naively thought that we’d get pregnant instantly with our second .. I am trying to be relaxed about it all and know these things can take time but I’m thinking of trying natural cycles or something like that to help us along.. at the mo I just use clue to track my periods& have done since my son was born and my cycle went back to normal (I didn’t breastfeed) .. has anyone used temp check apps etc ?
