Hi ladies. I think I’ve got line eyes. I posted a few days ago when I was in the tww. Unfortunately af came but it only last 1 and a half days. It was heavyish though with clots. Something about this cycle was different to the rest, I really felt like I could of been pregnant until af arrived. On a whim I took a test and I’m sure there’s a slight line in person but other times I look at it it looks like a shadow. Anyone else see it? Thank you In
advance xx

I never understood how this worked - so that’s basal body temperature? My app has a bit to log that but I didn’t know what I was supposed to be checking 😂
Yea, but you have to take it at the same time everyday (roughly) and before you do anything or your temperature will change, not everyone does but it helps pinpoints if your ovulating and when during your cycle

Hi everyone, I hope I’m okay to post here. I am after some advice. I had a positive pregnancy test on Friday then I woke
Up at 4am Saturday with very heavy bleeding, tested again Saturday afternoon, still a positive and tested again today and a negative. I’m guessing it’s been a chemical pregnancy 😥. I have never experienced this before, if anyone has... how long did it take for your periods etc to come back? I’ve been off my pill for 8 weeks so I haven’t actually had a normal period yet. Any help or advice would be great appreciated! Thank you xxx
I haven’t got any advice but just wanted say I’m sorry and hope you’re ok ❤

I experienced a early pregnancy loss a couple of weeks ago and was too upset to ask any questions at the hospital. Has anyone had the same? Looking for advice on roughly when my next period should arrive? And also how quickly we can/should start trying again?
Absolutely gutted as we were planning on telling our family on Christmas Day.
Sorry you're going through this :( ❤

I miscarried at almost 7 weeks and my next period just came about 4 weeks/28 days later. As if my cycle had just reset. I had a couple of wonky cycles after this but quickly went back to normal.

I think doctors do say you should wait a cycle before trying again but not everyone does this and still go on to have a healthy pregnancy. Trying again whenever you are ready should be fine.

Well I’m back. Finally stopped bleeding after my chemical pregnancy. Ready to get back to ttc. I had my moments of “I’m done. I’m giving up” etc but nope. I’m ready now. We will get our baby!!
Started switching up to different vitamins now, I’ve read a lot about low vitamin d can cause miscarriages and we’ll I’ve been stuck indoors for months due to lockdown so I’m upping my dosage on them too.
anyone here use baby aspirin? I’ve heard good thing. When do you start taking it? Etc.
good luck all 💜
I've heard about baby aspirin - I believe you take 75mg per day from getting a positive test until around 12 weeks but don't quote me as I'm going on memory from a friend trying it (successfully). I think it solves one of the most common solutions to recurrent miscarriages, it's called "sticky bloody syndrome" in Layman's terms but can't remember the medical name.

Been using Premom for a few days now and approaching when my ovulation should be...super nervous to see whether or not I actually do as my cycles are about 62 days. Nothing to lose by tracking though as another poster said! As a comparison, also posted my bbt chart from the month I conceived my first in case it helps anyone (different app and I had 35 day cycles back then) View attachment 387173

Yes definitely reluctant and just generally difficult to try get him to organise anything 😬 trying not to stress but every month that goes by is a longer age gap that I didn't want between kids, feel like screaming why can't I just get feckin pregnant!!!!
My first is 8!! I’m trying to really let go of my age gap worry though!

Have you had cramps like that before? I find I get cramps around my ovulation day. I never had it until recently as I was on the pill for years. It may be that?
Not really. That's mainly why I'm confused. We've been trying for over a year (although lost some months because I didn't know I have PCOS), but I've been quite regular since September/October last year thanks to the medication.
I have noticed Clomid made periods less painful for me, but I'm on Letrozole (cycle 2) now (apparently Clomid wasn't available anymore/temporarily). My body works well with Letrozole, but I have more cramps/pain around my period. So who knows what it is 😩
All I know is that there was a nice looking egg ready to jump and that we've been keeping busy ever since (and god, my netherregions need a break 😅)

Trying not to get too hopeful 🤷‍♀️

Hang in there @Sunshingal! ❤

Tww for me now! waiting for natural cycles to confirm ovulation but my temp hasn’t got any higher so who knows! How deflating is the whole fertility stuff 😞 x
It can get so hard at times..

I made an appointment at the fertility department of the hospital that follows me up. Gynaecologist recommended it as we've tried about 4 cycles with clomid and nothing yet. But can't go earlier than the 11th of March. So in the meantime more clomid for me.
Fingers crossed I can cancel the appointment at fertility! 🤞

Okay so I took a test this afternoon .. we’re pregnant! We’ll be looking at booking an early scan after previous early losses, the last one being a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. When is the best time to book one for? Obviously not going to book one yet just incase but if we get to 7 weeks is that a good time?
Congratulations! Sending you all my love and prayers for a healthy pregnancy ❤❤

Out of curiosity has anyone changed some things in their diet or lifestyle?
I have cut out alcohol completely, dying for a glass now but I’m on a roll and don’t want to ruin it.
I now have one coffee a day.
Also I sleep at least 8 hours a day or more now as pre lockdown I was on 6-7 hours a day.
I increased my fat intake.
i walk more in the day light.
Just wondering if anyone else has made some changes to their diets or lifestyle?
What's the link with increased fat intake please? And assume walking in the daylight is vitamin D or is it another reason? I did read yesterday BMI should be between 20 and 24 ideally (slightly narrower than healthy BMI range). I'm 20.2 so I can afford to increase my fats 😂

Deffo negative! Keep trying! :D

My period is due today and I've got usual symptoms of it coming so :/ and we don't have a donor lined up for next month so that's me done for a few months I think :(
:( Hugs!
I had some PMSy cramps before testing positive, so don't give up yet!

I had felt nauseous all day. Proper grim. Also had a slight migraine though so I think it’s caused by that. Also my left boob is pretty sore and I don’t really ever get sore boobs. I think I’m maximum 6 or 7 dpo so no chance it’s actually pregnancy symptoms. Trying not to google or worry too much but my body is fucking with me big time just to drive me insane.

Hey girls
Was my first month trying after having my implant removed and my first period. Don’t think I can count the first month really with waiting for the withdrawal bleed.
My period came 28 days after my withdrawal bleed.
This time round I’m now on CD 36 and still no show of af. Did a test a couple of days ago which was negative although it wasn’t a sensitive one. I did have a later peak this cycle but think it might have been because I was poorly this month so it messed things up.
Now just want af to come so I can find out what’s going on. Hate being in limbo! X

Hey sorry to jump on the thread. We aren’t TTC but hoping to be in the next few months. I naively never thought about having an issue getting the coil taken out in terms of covid. My friend had her implant taken out on Monday at her GP. Have you had any luck? Hope you get it sorted soon!

And good luck to you all got everything crossed for 🤞
I booked in for my smear test and the nurse actually just took it out there and then when I asked - not sure whether it was just luck

I’d definitely look in to getting on a waiting list if it’s anything like round here 🙂

I was trying to get the lines the length of the strip on the camera so it mustn’t have been picking up properly maybe.
I’m using the Femometer app cause they’re the strips I got but i think when these run out I’m going to try premom

Thank you! I thought it would be a slow increase throughout your cycle!
I don’t know whether to start testing twice a day this weekend with it being 2 weeks into my cycle, if ovulation is as regular as my period here’s hoping!
I think you can use the Premom app with other brands of OPKs too... might be worth a look just to see if you get a different reading x

I had this same dilemma when I was pregnant! I used FR as well. For what it’s worth mine turned out to be positive and honestly to anyone else it would look negative but I was convinced something was there! Picture attached!
So glad yours was actually positive! It’s so confusing isn’t it. Here’s mine, don’t know if you can see it properly but there’s a faint line, even my partner noticed it (he usually doesn’t faint ones 🤣)

Oh really! I’ve read the pink dye ones are better than blue but I’ll stick with another clear blue instead!
I had a faint line on Saturday but I don’t know if it was an evap line cause I left it 🤦🏼‍♀️
fingers crossed this would be my first! I’d cry if I couldn’t be around bacon cooking you know hahaha
Yeah I’ve always been told pink ones are better and we’ve been trying for a year now and I’ve always used them but I’m stumped at the moment. I wasn’t aware indents were even a thing 🤣 I’ve actually had better lines on eBay cheapies but I haven’t given clear blue a try really apart from a digital to confirm. I’ve heard the blue ones are more prone to Evaps but they have good reviews so I’m gonna give them a try 🤣 when are you testing again? Fingers crossed it’s positive for you

I don’t think I am as my cycles went from 35 days to 64 after I had my baby and seems too long for a ‘real’ cycle but from my internet searches it’s not impossible. Thanks ♥
Atleast if it’s all tracked even if your not ovulating you can show your evidence at your appointment when you get one and it will save them asking you to track it for x amount of months as youve already done it

Going to the gynaecologist next Tuesday as I still don't have my period (about a week late now).... PCOS is such a bitch...

How's everyone else holding up?
