Hey girls, hope you're all ok. I have a question. I did a pregnancy test 2 days ago (AF due this sat) and had the faintest of lines but there was deffo something, so I did it again yesterday and nothing. I have one digital CB left and didn't want to waste it just yet. I read that OPKs can sometimes read it too so I did one and got this...what do you think?
🤞🏻 For you. I would try your best to wait until sat when your period is due. I know that’s easier said than done 😅.

um.. I just took a clear blue digital and I’m pregnant. Only tested because I woke up at 2am with my boobs really hurting me. I’ve had a weird taste in my mouth the past few days but didn’t really think much of it as I’ve had that before when my periods came. So scared to get my hopes up incase it’s another chemical. Please keep your fingers crossed for us 🤞🏻
Praying you ❤

@LongishCat Overthinking is hard!! But I’m sure your gynaecologist wouldn’t have said it was ok if it’s not. I am a worrier too. But I am sure you will get there! 😊 as we all will x

I just took a test and it’s POSITIVE. 😭😭😭😭😭
Yay amazing!!! Congratulations!!!! What lovely news just before Christmas x x

Hi, hoping to join in!
I tried for 2 years before going for tests, all showed fine and were down as unexplained infertility!
we’ve done ivf 3 times, fell preg all 3 times but sadly lost the first 2! I now have my toddler boy who is just amazing!
I haven’t read the full thread but my advise would be;
Take folic acid every day
You can track ovulation by discharge (I tried the sticks and didn’t get on with them, personally think it’s abit too much pressure)
Have sex every 2-3 days in your ovulation window which tends to start 10-14 days after period.
you can also check your cervix, to see if it’s open etc, may take few times to find it and understand it, but google this and it’ll explain.
the hardest thing anyone ever said to me was to relax. Whilst I didn’t conceive naturally I know people who said they were stopping ttc and fell preg. And more importantly.... enjoy it!! Sometimes ttc can take the enjoyment out of sex.
sending lots of baby wishing to you all
thank you for your lovely helpful words! Congratulations on your baby 😘

Hey ❤ Thanks for setting up!
im currently ttc number two
It took us five years for number one and coming into year 3 for number two
Have had three fertility treatments, complimentary therapies over the yeaes

I have stage four endometriosis husband has poor morphology my amh is low and my thyroid out of whack so yea all fun!
i can relate.. we are also trying for our 2nd. Our 1st was conceived on our 2nd round of ivf & we’ve had 2 more rounds since then with no luck. He is nearly 4 & we desperately want to give him a sibling so we will be having 1 more go at IVF before accepting it’s just us 3.

my husband has a low count too. I don’t have any obvious issues but that’s not helped the situation in recent years.

Just so you know I used clearblue this month and had 7 flashing faces before I got my static face! Dont give up hope yet xx
Thank you! It’s rare I get flashing faces to be fair, I think there’s only been about 2 months that I’ve got them, every other time I’ve gone from nothing to peak.

Hi ladies. I think I’ve got line eyes. I posted a few days ago when I was in the tww. Unfortunately af came but it only last 1 and a half days. It was heavyish though with clots. Something about this cycle was different to the rest, I really felt like I could of been pregnant until af arrived. On a whim I took a test and I’m sure there’s a slight line in person but other times I look at it it looks like a shadow. Anyone else see it? Thank you In
advance xx
Maybe try a digital test? Fingers crossed for you x

I am so sorry for your loss :( thank you for sharing your experience and baby dust to you.
I use ovu sense too - quite helpful due to my irregular cycles etc.
I am really not sure how well we timed it this month as it was first time on clomid and using OPKs so didn't know what to expect - plus my BBTs remain quite erratic (I always start producing CM 7/10 days before Ov day and ovusense shows me every month I have at least a couple of failed ovulation attempts before it finally happens). So we had sex on cd13 to cd17 every day but despite fertile mucus for days and ambiguous BBTs , peak opk was not until yesterday (cd17). This morning my opk was still peak positive but husband is too exhausted, no way we can do it today! . A bit annoying that we probably started too early and will miss today but oh well - next month we will plan out everything a bit better to make it less stressful
ah yeah Iv had a good few months where opks basically matched, ovusense showed a rise in temp but then it went back down! So I think I tried to ovulate.... then about a week later I would get a proper peak and bbt would rise properly.. but that point we we’re tired, and so didn’t time BD correctly! It’s really hard when ovulation date can change, or you get failed attempts, so much harder to time!! I used to get so frustrated with it all when my body would mess me around!!
iv just started using my ovusense again to see what my bodies up to. We do want to start ttc as soon as possible.... just because if it takes another year... and I keep panicking I’m getting no younger!

Hi all,

just want to say a big thank you to those who offered support in my TTC journey. I took a step back this month and actually ended up getting pregnant for the first time. (test last night and this morning) 🥰🥰

When I was symptom spotting I came across old forums where people had listed their symptoms day by day up until positive pregnancy test. I know all bodies are different and a lot of people have completely different symptoms. But for any curious TTC buddies, I thought I would share my December TWW (where I really was convinced I must be pregnant) with my January TWW which led to a positive test. Please feel free to do the same with yours. Please also remember just because your symptoms might be different, doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant.

December

Ovulation day- lots of cramping and pain in ovaries all day

1 DPO on off cramping, really bloated, really creamy cm

2 DPO on off cramps and bloating still, firm breasts, lots of creamy cm

3 DPO back pain, cramping on and off, bloated, lotion like cm, tired

4 DPO not as much cm but cramping twinges on and off, still bloated

5 DPO on off cramping, stretchy cm, bloated, boobs really firm, struggled to sleep at night because of cramping in pelvis and back

6 DPO cramps, bloated, lots of creamy cm, dizzy and uncomfortable

7 DPO really struggled to sleep again pelvis and back sore, a lot of creamy cm with hint of stretchy, boobs especially right boob really full

8 DPO really strong period like cramps, pain in pelvis, hips and back, very uncomfortable, creamy watery cm

9 DPO cramping eased by really bloated

10 DPO cramping started again as twinges. Spotting in evening- light pink when wiped only.

11 DPO cramping easing but still spotting. Spotted all day mixture of pink, orange, brown and red blood throughout day.

12 DPO cramping easing off but still spotting

13 DPO occasional spotting

14 DPO period started.

January

Ovulation day- one of droplet of bloody cm in afternoon

1 DPO nothing to report apart from creamy cm. no cramping

2 DPO nothing

3 DPO nothing

4 DPO random dizzy spell but nothing else

5 DPO just sleepy and napped. Nothing else

6 DPO very slight pinching feeling and one wipe of spotting light pink cm

7 DPO no cramping at all, but light spotting when wiped and a bit in underwear.

8 DPO still spotting, not much but a bit in underwear. Light cramping

9 DPO bloating, light spotting in morning but stopped. Cm turned really wet and sticky.

10 DPO no more spotty at all or cramps. Cm dying down

11 DPO nothing to report, cm low

12 DPO big blob of creamy stretchy cm but it was also milk like. In the evening period like cramping began

13 DPO period like cramping, zero spotting, was convinced AF was going to come but instead just snot like cm, used a cheap blue dye test both came back positive right away.

14 DPO on and off cramping, really tired. Took a digital test and it is positive. Currently in bed shattered and wonder how I’ll cope for the next 9 months haha!

If this can be helpful to anyone in anyway I am glad.
Congratulations! 🤞For a nice pregnancy ❤

I caved and done a cheapie... and got a positive 😭

We’re completely in shock, I really wasn’t expecting it! Still going to keep testing tomorrow and Tuesday to make sure but as long as AF doesn’t come on Tuesday I think that’s it!
Aww congratulations!, ❤

Those of you who have had a MC before, how long did you wait until TTC again? I had a MMC at 8 weeks pregnant 2 weeks ago. My body feels okay now and im no longer bleeding or cramping but emotionally I’m still all over the place - ok one minute, overwhelmed with sadness the next, then angry, then guilty, then ok again! I know it’s very early days and hopefully my emotions will calm down a bit soon.
My partner and I really want another baby (our daughter is nearly 7 and im getting conscious of the ever growing age gap!) and he’s said let’s try again on my next cycle (if I want to). I do want to but I’m terrified of going through all this again so soon. This was our first MMC and hopefully our last but I just feel very anxious about the same thing happening. Obviously though even if we start trying that doesn’t mean it will happen straight away - we were fortunate last time it happened within 3 months of trying but may not be that lucky this time. Have others started trying again as soon as you can or have you waited a while?
I had a miscarriage last May and conceived again in November. We didn’t try for 6 weeks after the miscarriage as I’d had surgery and it was all a bit traumatic. Started trying in July and like I say, conceived in November.

I know it’s scary trying again. I haven’t found the anxiety easy to live with and I’m still terrified something will happen with this pregnancy. Trouble is, if you let fear take over and you never try again then you’ll always regret it.

My consultant told me to wait for 2 periods after my miscarriage. For some people that’s ages and for some it’s not long enough. I think you have to go what you feel is right for you x

I’ve been down the route of applying for ivf funding and the only advice I can give is to nag nag and nag them some more.

We found the whole process so frustrating. We finally were able to apply after two years of trying. We then spent months having various tests which seemed to take forever to get the results etc. If I had my time again, I’d be ringing the GP and/or ivf clinic weekly to chase them for results and push for appointments.

The emotional stress of ivf is sadly underestimated

Sure of course. Thursday I had a migraine and felt super nauseous all day. I thought that was just migraine and sickness which I get now and then but Friday no migraine but felt nauseous still. If I thought about food I just felt ill and that’s not like me, I can always eat. Got appetite back Sunday afternoon but felt sick again this morning. Haven’t actually been sick (yet) just queasy. Boobs started feeling a bit sore on Friday and have gradually got worse since. Very sore nipples as well. I do not usually get sore boobs before period, I should mention. Got a bit of pink blood this morning when I wiped and that’s it. Saturday I could feel twinges and like pulling in lower left abdomen all day. Very specific feelings in very specific area.

Unhelpful but I don’t know what day I ovulated exactly. I think 11th-ish so symptoms started about a week after.

Sorry for essay, hope this helps :)
Thank you for sharing 😄. I keep having pain in my lower abs too but think it’s just my mind playing tricks on me!

Have you looked in to Ovusense at all? It's an ovulation monitor specifically designed for those with PCOS. I've heard a couple of success stories from people who use it.
Yes I’ve seen them, it does look good! It’s only early days for me, I’m only on month 3 ttc so if it doesn’t happen in the next couple of months I will definitely get one! 😊

Out of curiosity has anyone changed some things in their diet or lifestyle?
I have cut out alcohol completely, dying for a glass now but I’m on a roll and don’t want to ruin it.
I now have one coffee a day.
Also I sleep at least 8 hours a day or more now as pre lockdown I was on 6-7 hours a day.
I increased my fat intake.
i walk more in the day light.
Just wondering if anyone else has made some changes to their diets or lifestyle?
I wasn’t much of a drinker so that’s not changed. Not drunk since December 2019 (bad, bad hangover 🤣). I have a pretty healthy diet with lots of fresh home cooked meals. I’ve started taking folic acid I think is the only change really! And other supplements that are meant to help with balancing hormones with pcos. Zinc, magnesium, inositol 😊

I’ve been using pregnicare conception for the past few months. After giving it a go deciding to come off it and just use folic acid.
Reasons (and I can’t say this is definitely the pregnicare pills however all symptoms have started. Recent cycles after taking it)-
lower EWCM during O
Cystic acne on chin leading up to O
Spotting by before period (never had that before, thought it was implantation bleeding)
Mood swings
Extra tired and grouchy

might not be all linked to the tablets but just going to try folic acid for a few months and see if I notice a change.

anyone else have positive or negative experiences when taking pregnicare conception tablets?

or any other top tips of supplements for supporting conception that you’ve experienced?

I know a girl who used only get her period every 6 months or so. I don't know why, but they were very irregular. She noticed weight gain, did a test, turned out shes was 22 wks pregnant. I shit you not. So don't stress about regular cycles!
