Oh my gosh congratulations 💕 the most beautiful news!! Can I ask how you felt 'off' I'm so interested to hear everyone's symptoms so I can add them to my long list of things to look out for 😂
thanks so much! haha of course! I’ve felt nauseous when waking up, a bit like a slight hangover! I feel bloated, tired (that’s nothing new tbh 😂) and the last few days I’ve been so thirsty! But that’s about it so far, I guess it’s still early days for proper symptoms! 😊

So glad yours was actually positive! It’s so confusing isn’t it. Here’s mine, don’t know if you can see it properly but there’s a faint line, even my partner noticed it (he usually doesn’t faint ones 🤣)

Yeah I’ve always been told pink ones are better and we’ve been trying for a year now and I’ve always used them but I’m stumped at the moment. I wasn’t aware indents were even a thing 🤣 I’ve actually had better lines on eBay cheapies but I haven’t given clear blue a try really apart from a digital to confirm. I’ve heard the blue ones are more prone to Evaps but they have good reviews so I’m gonna give them a try 🤣 when are you testing again? Fingers crossed it’s positive for you
I can see a line 😃🤞🏻 For you

Got my hopes up this month, period was late. I’m regular as clockwork. Just as I was starting to think this might be it AF showed up and put an end to that....
Chased up my referral to the fertility clinic but like everything it’s being delayed by covid, so could be another few months. Asked about paying for private tests etc but they’re not taking any private referrals at the moment because covid and it’s the only clinic in the area.
Feeling so low about it, time isn’t on our side and every month that passes I start to think that maybe it’s just not meant to be. My OH already had two kids so he’s not as bothered about it as me and keeps saying we’ll keep trying but I’m not sure I can deal with the disappointment every month. Just feels a bit lonely at the moment, if that makes sense

Wanted to test today because of Christmas tomorrow (due on Boxing Day) and got a negative ☹ I had a really vivid dream last night about showing my partner a positive test so I feel a bit sad but we go again next month!

Is everyone doing your role at risk or is it a certain number of jobs? If your pregnant by the time it’s all being looked at next year I’m pretty sure you will have special rights as your pregnant - your job will take priority over other employees who are not pregnant if this is applicable and you will be given priority for alternative work too if there is a genuine need to make your role redundant.
We’re not sure yet, the consultation period is 6 months. They did say that they may need to keep some roles, but there are a lot of people (including me) at risk.

I did wonder about that, thank you. I asked HR in a roundabout way about how pregnancy would affect the decisions but wasn’t given a straight answer.

We’ve decided to carry on as we were anyway, and whatever happens will happen!

I started as soon as the bleeding stopped, as my miscarriage was quite early on, although the doctor did say its best to let your lining build up again by waiting a cycle or two. I just wanted to feel back to normal again, i felt i had wasted so much time from finding out id miscarriaged to having a d&c, it was a month or so to get it all sorted. I ovulated two weeks after the d&c and everything seems ok again so fingers crossed! Sending lots of love and luck and keep strong, some days i am so down about it, paranoid what people think, sensitive etc. But over time iv learnt to love myself again and just hope for a positive test soon!

Omg exactly. Some people i know got pregnant the first time they tried. I think wtf! How is that far. Now one is trying again, and said she is going to try for a girl as she already has two boys.. after a few months of not falling pregnant she is going crazy, obsessing over ovulation, her age, vitamins etc - happens to us all i guess. I’d be happy with an alien im so desperate :ROFLMAO:

Darling i completely agree, i bought all the vitamins, ovulation sticks, thermometer, and fertility lubrication. I was making myself ill and our relationship was strained!! So i gave it all up, and within two months i fell pregnant! God knows how, although i did miscarry so just hoping i can continue my chilled approach! Genuinely think its the hardest thing i have ever been though emotionally/psychologically!
I am so sorry. Remember take your time to heal. I know it’s not easy. It’s very painful and it’s hard especially now as you feel isolated. But in someways speaking to friends who have not been through it doesn’t help either. They mean well but they don’t understand. The first time it ever happened I think it took me around 8 months to purely get over it. I was emotional weak, couldn’t comprehend what had happened. I took each day as it came. Please be kind to yourself. Do small things that give you joy. Whether that’s soaking yourself in a bath, putting full make up on,taking your time putting on skin care, doing your hair, baking a cake, cooking your favourite meal. Do things for yourself that perk you up. Once the world reopens go to a salon get your hair or nails done. Go to bookshop read a book. Just do things that make you happy. Read positive affirmations out loud that helped me massively.
I know it’s terribly difficult and if you feel down please message me.
Can I recommend one thing from experience. If you have the means go get your bloods checked out. Don’t wait as someone who has gone through numerous Mcs if any of my friends went through their first MC my advice would be go get your bloods checked. As when we done genetic testing it turns out all the babies I would have had would have been healthy I wish I checked my bloods after my first miscarriage. From the tests I found out I had 2 blood conditions hence why I keep miscarrying. I hope I have not scared you but ladies if you can afford to do it do it. As from there you and your doctor can create a plan so you can carry long term. Of course it doesn’t prevent miscarriage but it will lower the risk.
Bare in mind ladies who do miscarry not all have blood conditions. As some try again and have a healthy baby. But it’s best to be sure ☺

Am I the only person not using ovulation tests? I’m worried I’ll get obsessive so we’re going for every other day atm and hoping but if nothing happens after a few months I’ve said I’ll look into ovulation tests
I got obsessive over them & didn't use them in December & here I am now 4 days late and negative HPTS. Its all bloody frustrating! X

I am not against having a vaccine.
I just don’t want it right now after 3 miscarriages and desperately wanting a baby. I don’t want to affect my chances. I sound silly but I’m happy as I am. But I do worry what if I’m blessed with a baby and after the first 12 weeks would I régret my decision.
It won’t be a while till my category comes along so I’ll just concentrate on my TWW.
Also I know two doctors who have had their vaccines done and can you believe they will not be getting their 2nd jab until April.
One of them was not happy that they had to take the jab as he felt he wanted more research into the after affects. ...he was pressured into getting one otherwise he could not work in certain places as they required the jab. He loves his job so he took the first dose. But it’s shocking they both work in the health sector and their next jab is April.
Darling i am so sorry you have been through 3 miscarriages - can i ask, how have you remained so strong? I have recently been through one and my overall mindset is blown, and i find it hard to remain positive most of the time. So you are an absolute inspiration. Sending so much love xxx

12DPO and a BFN. Still no AF (due in two days) so I’ll keep testing until then but already feeling so bummed out. This was my first cycle using OPKs so I was feeling empowered but I won’t give up for this cycle until AF comes.

Looks like I’m out for this cycle...AF due tomorrow and just had a massive temp dip below cover line. Negative test yesterday.
I have 62 day cycles so next shot will be in march- although work have really pissed me off today so I’m currently looking at new jobs so obviously gone on a totally self destructive mission to delay TTC 🙄🙄 🤣🤣
I should also be getting my fertility referral in April which still feels ages away but only once cycle between now and then!

So, we don’t have children and I miscarried our baby on Valentines Day 2019. It was all very traumatic for me physically more than mentally I think. This year we want to try again (preferably in the summer once we’ve cleared a couple of debts, I know there’s never an ideal time but I’d rather know we are giving ourselves the best chance financially so I can have mat leave longer than three months etc) only thing is I am PETRIFIED to put myself in that vulnerable position again - what if it happens again, mentally I’m not sure I’d cope. I’m also annoyed we missed out on so many holidays etc in 2020 and the odds of us getting them now before we try for a baby are slim. So I’m angry at the world for that because it’s time we can never get back. Aware I’m sounding very selfish and I know people have it far worse but please don’t judge, it’s the way I’m feeling
I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks so I know how you feel. It happened a couple of months ago and physically I still don't feel right. Sending a big hug x

Hi all,
I dip in and out of this thread. I usually read when I'm waiting for AF, as I feel okay the rest of the month however I know its coming again so I'm anxious. When I'm feeling okay I prefer to not read about ttc, as it stresses me out a bit, I prefer to keep it off my mind if possible(though it's very hard!).
My best friend had told me she is pregannt today, she already has children and hadn't been trying long. I'm truly happy for her but it's hurts badly for myself. I feel so selfish for feeling like this.
Is anyone else here over a year in trying for number one? I feel so alone at the moment.
Hey hun. We did. It took 2 years for us to fall pregnant with our first! It’s so hard watching others around you. Girls who were still teenagers having babies while it wasn’t happening for us broke me! Sending lots of baby dust for you xx

I’m sorry it’s devastating ❤ We are only asking for two lines. Treat yourself or pamper yourself. I pray it will happen for you soon. ❤
When I do a pregnancy test whilst I’m waiting I dream about all the ways I can surprise my husband and then only one line appears. I can’t use clear blue pregnancy tests as I can’t deal with it telling me not pregnant. Is anyone else the same ?
I generally don’t test for this reason. I know it’s an unpopular opinion in the TTC community but I’ve probably only tested maybe five times in the 2.5 years we’ve been trying. I only test if my period is late and isn’t showing any signs of arrival. Each time I’ve had the negative and my period shows up within the hour 🤣.
Currently CD28, no signs of spotting which I usually get the day or two before AF arrives. Have had 31 day cycles before so not super uncommon for me, though my last cycle was 26 days and I am usually a 28/29 day cycle. Ovulated late (CD17) this cycle though, so that’s probably why I’m late.

I’m 10dpo, for 2 days been feeling pinching/stitch like pain on my left side. Anyone has this before?
Hope everyone’s ok
I also felt that at 10dpo, but I think I am just hyper aware at the moment. Tested and got a BFN at 12dpo. -__- Followed by AF the next day, on CD5 currently.

Best of luck to everyone x

Not sure if anyone else has read it, but Luisa Zuissman wrote a blog called Maybe Baby about TTC. I’ve just spent £70 on supplements on Amazon after reading it... lots of good reviews so hopefully they do make a difference!

Hi all. TTC nearly 2 years and have pcos. I don’t use opks as they are unreliable with pcos. Been bbt temping just 3 months and still getting to grips with it. I’ve been using Flo and just downloaded fertility friend.

My temp has just shifted up. I know I need three consecutive days to confirm ovulation but, if I get another higher temp tomorrow and Sunday, can I assume I ovulated yesterday?

Also just want to say I’ve been reading through the thread and wish you all the best of luck this year. TTC is stressful, no matter where you are in your journey ✨

(although in saying that, after nearly 2 years I’m fucking exhausted 😅 and really hope it happens for this year). CD1 was just before Christmas and I bawled my eyes for days
