Hello all, I'm so sorry to post this here when it might not be the right place, and this may sound stupid, but is this definitely positive!? I took the bottom one yesterday and the top one just now.

I think I'm in such disbelief because I got told there's no way I'd be able to conceive... And then this. I'm also feeling nauseous on and off and my lower back is aching.

I'm sorry if this seems like fishing or something but I genuinely feel like I need another opinion before I tell my husband to make sure I'm not seeing things!
Definitely positive!!! Congratulations xx

Hi all can I join this thread? I don’t track my ovulation and my cycles can be anthing from 28-42 days (usually) this month I’m on cCD 55 and still nothing! I’ve tested, got silly thin line on a clear blue, a faint line (I think) on a 45 second first response and a positive on a cheapy BUT not pregnant on a digital and negative on a few others I’ve taken. Pregnancy support think I’m testing too early and have told me to wait until Tuesday! Am worried about chemical and miscarrying :( any Advice? Will attach the pics xx
Keeping everything crossed for you!

So I’m a day late for AF today which has never happened before (I’m super regular 28 days cycle). Tested and got bfn. Feel like my body is playing a cruel trick on me ☹

Hey I am 27 and TTC #1. Was on the pill (ridigevon) for 10 years came off Sept 2020. I have had fairly regular periods since then, 28/29 day cycles tracking with flo app. I have not tracked ovulation yet but ordered opks from Amazon for this month. Still getting used to this and don’t fully understand so I got my period yesterday so is that cycle day 1? When do I start the opks?

Aw congratulations!! Amazing news 🎉

Came on to see if you’d updated, hope you’re ok ☹ It’s horrible isn’t it, I felt the same last month I had weird symptoms I’ve never had before and was convinced it was going to be good news then I came on like clockwork. It’s so disappointing!

Like you say though, next month is another go. Stay positive as hard as it is, got my fingers crossed for you
Mine for you too! I never thought a late period owould drive me insane so much!! We'll all get there soon enough!!

My friends birthday is January 4th and she hates it because by then everyone is broke and sick of eating and drinking and depressed post xmas, I'd hate to have my birthday in January 😂
My birthdays in January 😅 I don’t mind it as my parents always made it special for me. Only thing that’s annoying now I’m an adult is people doing dry January so not wanting to come for birthday drinks 😂. 🤷‍♀️

Period ended 2 days ago and I feel very optimistic for the new year! The tww in Dec I felt very intense and kind of in a daze, I think there's a lot of pressure hoping for that Xmas bfp! But I'm feeling a lot calmer (for now).

How is everyone else feeling?
I love your positivity.
I’m really gutted I was on the pill for so long because I don’t know what’s going on with my cycles. I thought I was coming on AF but I’ve just had three days of extremely light on and off spotting when I wipe only. I found a really good doctor on YouTube who said about doing a synthetic hormone detox so I’m going to try and do that and get my hormones back to normal. Once that’s more back to normal I’m sure it’ll support being able to conceive.

So, we don’t have children and I miscarried our baby on Valentines Day 2019. It was all very traumatic for me physically more than mentally I think. This year we want to try again (preferably in the summer once we’ve cleared a couple of debts, I know there’s never an ideal time but I’d rather know we are giving ourselves the best chance financially so I can have mat leave longer than three months etc) only thing is I am PETRIFIED to put myself in that vulnerable position again - what if it happens again, mentally I’m not sure I’d cope. I’m also annoyed we missed out on so many holidays etc in 2020 and the odds of us getting them now before we try for a baby are slim. So I’m angry at the world for that because it’s time we can never get back. Aware I’m sounding very selfish and I know people have it far worse but please don’t judge, it’s the way I’m feeling

Sorry to read what you’ve been through. No one should judge you, you’ve been through an ordeal, a terrible experience which is traumatic and probably leaves you with ptsd. Really hoping this year is more positive for you 💖

Hey everyone, back TTC after a miscarriage last week at 8+5. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and only a week in :( today’s my first day of feeling more positive. We will be trying again once my period comes back - hopefully in 4/5 weeks but we’ll see. Wishing everyone luck this month 🤞🏼😊
sorry to hear of your MC. Ours was 5 weeks ago. Defiantly a rollercoaster of emotions, I find one second I’m fine the next Anxious/sad/panicked.We plan to try again once AF arrives, it’s a scary thought I find but I feel strangely ready to start again! Sending you lots of love xxx

That’s interesting. What signs on this chart are you looking out for in terms of ovulation rather than implantation etc?
You look for the same increase in your heart rate as you do would if you were tracking your BBT by temping. Towards mid cycle you should see a peak in your RHR around the time you suspect you ovulate based on your individual cycle. I suppose I was lucky I have a clockwork cycle so my ovulation was always around day 11-14 which is easier to track. If you’ve ovulated your RHR would then start falling as would your BBT if you don’t get pregnant and get your period by the time the flow starts your heart rate and temp would be back to the lower end. If you fall pregnant your RHR and BBT stay elevated. I stumbled across all this on google and just started paying attention to my own heart rate. I’ll also add that I was trying for 5 months and had a positive test in September at age 43, I’m currently 21 weeks with a baby girl due in May. What I’m saying is don’t lose hope and I explored every natural thing out there that could help. However the month I did conceive I had thrown in the towel and thought bugger it and had stopped doing Opks and everything as it was consuming my every thought.

I’m currently miscarrying. Sorry if that is TMI but because it was so early, nobody had been told other than my husband and I just need someone to talk to. This is my second miscarriage this year and my third in two years. I’d been put onto Dalteparin and aspirin when this pregnancy was confirmed as I have sticky blood (I’m under the care of my local recurrent miscarriage clinic) and I honestly thought that with treatment plan in place this time would be different. I’m just heartbroken. I desperately want a child but I don’t know how much more I can put my body and heart through when this is the result.
I'm so sorry to hear this. ❤

Glad to have found this thread! 💖

my hubby and I are in our first month of ttc.

I don’t think it will happen quickly at all but the current wait for AF are awful!

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 31 - my periods have been getting heavier and heavier for years(
typical that my periods aren’t irregular as such! Sometimes they can last a whole month! 😭)
anyway I was referred to a gynaecologist in 2019 as GP suspected endometriosis so I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and luckily didn’t find any endo, however I do have a heart shaped womb, which means I’m at risk of late miscarriage, they removed a couple of “seedlings” from my womb and my tubes were severely blocked but they managed to unblock them.

I haven’t been on any form of contraceptives for at least 4 years, we were using the withdrawal method.

I am really sensitive to cystitis/UTIs if I have too much sex and need antibiotics! Not great for baby making 🤣

anyway - we’ve had sex 4 times over my estimated fertile period (Xmas time), 4 days later I had an increase in urination, I’ve googled and seen that this could be pregnancy symptoms (post on net mums knew she was pregnant this way) I know it’s unlikely given my history, but the wait is horrendous! My boobs are ridiculously sore and heavy! I know it will be my body playing tricks on me! Stupid hormones!!

sorry for the waffle - felt good to get it out!! We aren’t telling anybody we’re ttc until it happens xx

the ttw is horrible. I love a good google symptom search too haha. Really hoping you get your BFP sooner rather than later. Keep us updated 🙂

My natural cycles thermometer has arrived - so been tracking my temperature, today it has dropped to 35.5! Surely that is too low?! It’s only day 5 of me tracking, but the others were 35.8 & 35.9! That’s only 0.5 away from hypothermia!
I have the same. Even this evening it was 35.5 same as the morning. Wondering if I’m dead 😂

I gave in and tested early today as been feeling really off the last few days (12dpo, period 3 days away) and got this... honestly can’t believe it! ❤ Wishing everyone else luck and positive tests, this was our 3rd month of trying and although i know that’s not long to try I felt so disappointed the last 2 months!
Oh my gosh congratulations 💕 the most beautiful news!! Can I ask how you felt 'off' I'm so interested to hear everyone's symptoms so I can add them to my long list of things to look out for 😂

Hi guys!

Quick question, has anyone had a hysterosalpingogram to check if your Fallopian tubes are not blocked?

Just wondering what it’s like, I’m really anxious
I had one.

it’s like a smear test they clamp you and then a thin catheter goes up and you don’t feel any pain it’s like a mild period cramp.

I have a two pack of cheapies and one of those clear blue weeks ones... so tempting isn’t it 😂😂

OPK related question... AF is due on Tuesday and on my daily test today I’ve got a high reading. Is that normal?
Your LH can rise just before AF. When I was late last month I did exactly the same and I got a high reading. opKs can pick up pregnancy hormones but it's usually high levels. Not to piss on your corn flakes or anything, but I just don't want you to drive yourself crazy like I did! X

I experienced a early pregnancy loss a couple of weeks ago and was too upset to ask any questions at the hospital. Has anyone had the same? Looking for advice on roughly when my next period should arrive? And also how quickly we can/should start trying again?
Absolutely gutted as we were planning on telling our family on Christmas Day.
map sorry to hear this. Sending yoI lots of love x x

that’s my plan! I’ve logged everything on my app to help me remember. It’s incredibly light now so hoping it stops today. It if continues/recurs next month I’ll give GP a call.

I’m 8 weeks off BC and wondering (hoping) my cycles are maybe but a bit funnier than I thought
I took me a good 6/7 weeks to get back into a regular cycle after stopping the pill. I had random spotting throughout because I stupidly didn’t finish my last pill pack I just stopped halfway (wouldn’t recommend). Hope you feel better soon x
