Good luck! Have you ordered any tests or are you going to hang on a few days?
Trying to wait until next week (or if my period comes) still no sign. Don’t even feel like I’m coming on, usually get bad cramps the day before. My partner on the other wants to test ASAP but I guess he’s just super excited to be a dad again. Me it just fills me with nerves after all my previous losses. We got a faint on a first response at 9dpo but I think it was probably an indent (I posted it further up this thread, but the quality of the photo after I posted was terrible) and I’ve not tested since. Whatever will be will be I guess.

Sorry not trying for baby number 1 but hope you're okay. It is incredibly tough when someone announces their pregnancy when you're trying xx
Constant scan pics on social media and a lot of people surrounding me but this one has hit me hard. I obviously have not shown this to her but inside it's just feels so unfair.
I’m 6 months in for number 1 so not as long. I had the same feeling when a work colleague I’m close with told me they were expecting. Of course I was happy for them but felt a stab of jealously when they exclaimed “we only did it once without protection”.
I feel like I can’t really talk to anyone about TTC as they always say “don’t worry it will happen when you least expect”. That’s easier said then done especially in lockdown with not much else going on in my life!
Anyways I’ve rambled a lot. Sending you a big hug x
Yeah people mean well but the 'it'll happen when it's meant to' 'you need to relax' 'stop thinking about it' does me in. Especially if it's from someone who has conceived easily. Mean well but they have no idea! I'm really happy for my friend but in private I've taken it hard, but I feel so bad for feeling like this. People who haven't tried for a baby that's took time just don't understand. And when i feel low about it, their comments make me feel worse sometimes so I don't bother saying anything anymore.

AF has arrived. I’ve signed up to natural cycles. £40 for a year with a thermometer. See what happens. My previously fertile prediction was wrong according to this app so will see! x

Wow I can’t believe I’ve found a thread about TTC!! Me and my husband have been trying for just over a year now. We both have a child each from a previous relationship, took 6 years for me to conceive him. I think we need to book a drs apt because I can’t wait another 6 years to conceive

Also, has anyone else lost all trust in pregnancy tests? FRER and clearblue even gave me false positives in November and I’ve had so many false positives with cheap tests. I’ll never believe it until I see a digital confirming.

when did everyone go to the drs? We’ve been trying since October 2019

Hmm I think I’m out this month. No cramping at all compared to other times I’ve conceived. Took a test and nothing. Feeling kinda sad too because we’re not trying next month (we already have a Christmas baby and December is a hectic month for us usually with family in another country ) and I just feel like what if that’s the month we’d actually be able to conceive and carry a healthy pregnancy though? All the what ifs. I hate this so much 😞 sorry for ranting but I don’t have anywhere else to get this out.
I've literally just had my implant out last week so very new to TTC (not even in ovulation yet)... Is it awful to say I really don't want a Christmas baby? I've already mentioned this to my partner and he was a bit annoyed! 😕

Posted the wrong thing on the wrong thread.... sorry!
but thought I’d join as I’m in the TTC club too!
Been using CB OPKs since last month as I skipped a period (stressful time and lost a load of weight) so didn’t have a clue what was going on with my cycle or life.
I think I’m back to normal’ish now with a 35 day cycle (was 58!).

I had the strangest cycle this month though, I had all tell tale pregnancy signs and AF showed up... it was very painful, heavy and had a few clots period.... I’m wondering whether I had an early CP?
Can CPs affect your next cycle?

just noticed you on here KHMTID 😭
Happy birthday queen, we can do this. Get excited for the next cycle ❤
We’ve got this! If Truff can do it so can we!
Thank you! I’m only on tattle because my fella thought it was a good idea to book a boiler repair 🙄🙄

Well after months of waiting the fertility dept near us has opened up again to new patients, so have our first appointment on a couple of weeks. Although not sure what it’s going to achieve, maybe give us some closure if we find something so stopping me getting pregnant...

Hi all,

I had my doctors app yesterday. The nurse who did my bloods was really lovely. I then went for another app and that nurse was really rude and made me feel stupid and I left feeling a bit tearful, which is a shame after I went in feeling positive.

I've got my day 21 bloods booked and another app to see that rude nurse for some swabs or something.

I have very light periods now, like 2 days max and there's not that much, never used to be like this. I will ask next time (not keen on asking the rude nurse!) as I see different answers online, some say it's fine others say it could be a problem! Anyone else have this?

Good luck all x
@Sunshinegal- ive been tracking my periods for about a year using my fitbit app. My periods were at most 4 days (light), but mostly recently 2-3 days and hardly anything. I found out in January that im pregnant.

I was also worried about my light periods and what it might mean, but it turns out its all fine. Im hoping the same happens for you lovely xxxx

Yes sending lots of luck to you all! So exciting hearing about your updates. Have any of you thought about how you will tell your partners and families if you get a positive?

I am 10dpo now, we aren’t officially TTC but I was worried about not ovulating and having a short luteal phase. Started tracking with OPKs and taking vitamin B complex and vit D this cycle and it seems to have worked as have no sign of my period. I don’t think I’m pregnant as we didn’t dtd close enough to ov, but it’s a start 🤞🏼

So I took a test today for my birthday & the day of my expected period on 2 apps and 1 days before on another app, the test was negative 😔
I’m not letting it ruin my day, I’m just going to have a small glass of wine tonight and try again next cycle after my period decides to show 🙄
Happy birthday ❤ I had the same AF showed up a day early on my birthday 😒. Fingers crossed for the next cycle. I’ve just worked out my hubby will be working away during my next fertile window so I’m out for another month ☹

Aw thank you so much for replying. It means a lot and I am glad I have found this board where I can share at least some bits of my journey - I feel so isolated at the moment as I seem to be the only person I know going through this. My husband is really supportive and so is my Mum (who however lives abroad) but the limited stimulation/lack of distractions at the moment due to the covid19 make everything so much harder and I am finding I am spending so much time worrying and ruminating about all this :(

Quick update in case this could be helpful: I spoke with the Fertility GP - although they are nice and I am sure they mean well they were very dismissive. They said that even if I have a luteal phase defect there is 'no cure' and we cannot be sure about when I ovulated anyway (but I am!! I use multiple ways of predicting this and they all match, all the time). So after some consideration I have now booked a private consultation at the end of this week with a Fertility Consultant with great reviews. I have just finished putting all my paperwork together to bring to her ... will see what happens.. I am starting Clomid again today but I don't see the point of going through this with a luteal phase of 7 days..... will let you know what she says
I literally could have written the first part of your post myself! It’s so hard at the moment with there being no distractions. I feel like I’m throwing my all in to trying for a baby so every month that it doesn’t happen is just such a let down. And yes, it is so isolating! One of my closest friends has just had a baby and I feel so torn because I want to be there for her and be excited and see all the photos ect but it’s also like a dagger in the heart 😂

Thank you for updating me about what the doctor said. It’s so frustrating that they take that stance! How long have you been trying if you don’t mind me asking? I’m coming up for 9 months now and early on I’d hoped my Luteal phase would maybe sort itself out after 10 years of birth control but it hasn’t got any better! I hope your experience going private is positive 🤞🏼 Keep me posted 😊

Getting a constant pulling feeling and the odd sharp pain in my lower left tummy. And achy boobs. Hopefully this is a good sign.

I caved and done a cheapie... and got a positive 😭

We’re completely in shock, I really wasn’t expecting it! Still going to keep testing tomorrow and Tuesday to make sure but as long as AF doesn’t come on Tuesday I think that’s it!
Woohoooo ❤❤ So pleased for you!!

Those of you who have had a MC before, how long did you wait until TTC again? I had a MMC at 8 weeks pregnant 2 weeks ago. My body feels okay now and im no longer bleeding or cramping but emotionally I’m still all over the place - ok one minute, overwhelmed with sadness the next, then angry, then guilty, then ok again! I know it’s very early days and hopefully my emotions will calm down a bit soon.
My partner and I really want another baby (our daughter is nearly 7 and im getting conscious of the ever growing age gap!) and he’s said let’s try again on my next cycle (if I want to). I do want to but I’m terrified of going through all this again so soon. This was our first MMC and hopefully our last but I just feel very anxious about the same thing happening. Obviously though even if we start trying that doesn’t mean it will happen straight away - we were fortunate last time it happened within 3 months of trying but may not be that lucky this time. Have others started trying again as soon as you can or have you waited a while?
I started as soon as the bleeding stopped, as my miscarriage was quite early on, although the doctor did say its best to let your lining build up again by waiting a cycle or two. I just wanted to feel back to normal again, i felt i had wasted so much time from finding out id miscarriaged to having a d&c, it was a month or so to get it all sorted. I ovulated two weeks after the d&c and everything seems ok again so fingers crossed! Sending lots of love and luck and keep strong, some days i am so down about it, paranoid what people think, sensitive etc. But over time iv learnt to love myself again and just hope for a positive test soon!

People who don’t struggle to conceive don’t have a clue what we go through

I was clearing out old paperwork and found the instructions to when my husband had to drop off his sperm at the hospital to be analysed. It gave such detailed instructions 🤦‍♀️ It then scares you by saying how you must keep the sample warm 🤮 etc. We still laugh about him driving carefully with this sample in his jacket pocket and avoiding speed bumps 😆

Like I say, people who just have a quick fumble have no idea how lucky they are
Omg exactly. Some people i know got pregnant the first time they tried. I think wtf! How is that far. Now one is trying again, and said she is going to try for a girl as she already has two boys.. after a few months of not falling pregnant she is going crazy, obsessing over ovulation, her age, vitamins etc - happens to us all i guess. I’d be happy with an alien im so desperate :ROFLMAO:

I’m awaiting my period. I have an irregular period but it’s 5 days late. Last month during fertile window I was slightly unwell. So only had sex twice during that window.
I have no symptoms this time for period or even pregnancy. I have lost the plot and done 4 pregnancy tests. I can’t help it I get the urge almost like an addict. I even drive to the shops when my husband is at work.
If there was no lockdown I would not be so obsessed.
I doubt I’m pregnant but I just want AF to appear so I can try again.
From 12th April I’ve decided I’m going to delete the apps and not use the ovulation sticks and when it happens it happens. I can’t continue like this it’s not healthy. The first week after ovulation I am strong. It’s the end of the second week I obsess with pregnancy tests. As much as I am desperate to conceive I do laugh at myself. I have lost the plot haha.
As someone mentioned earlier some women are so lucky they conceive early and they don’t realise how lucky they are. But I guess we are blessed in all sorts of ways.
Good luck ladies :))
Darling i completely agree, i bought all the vitamins, ovulation sticks, thermometer, and fertility lubrication. I was making myself ill and our relationship was strained!! So i gave it all up, and within two months i fell pregnant! God knows how, although i did miscarry so just hoping i can continue my chilled approach! Genuinely think its the hardest thing i have ever been though emotionally/psychologically!

Period ended 2 days ago and I feel very optimistic for the new year! The tww in Dec I felt very intense and kind of in a daze, I think there's a lot of pressure hoping for that Xmas bfp! But I'm feeling a lot calmer (for now).

How is everyone else feeling?

I had a scan yesterday and was told my ovaries are polycystic 😔 just waiting to get the blood test results.

hope everyone’s doing ok and keeping positive 💕
I also have PCOS, there are so many options still. I'm currently on clomid, which is working quite well in terms of ovulating. Not pregnant yet though, but at least now I have the chance to get there. Before I took the medication my period wouldn't come through for months because I didn't ovulate.
Hang in there! PCOS is luckily very common, so there's a lot they can do about it ❤

I went to a fertility psychologist today and it was really nice. Definitely recommend.
