Well guys my period showed up today! Guess my sore boobs are just going to be another Pms symptoms. Mother Nature is cruel..

Just a thought guys - I have decided to treat myself when I get my period - new pjs, face mask, lots of junk food. It has made me feel slightly better. Thought it might help you guys feel better on them months to xx
That’s a good idea. I’m going to paint nails tonight and order a pizza 😄 x

Sorry to hear! I was really hopeful i would confirm ovulation...but it’s been three days since my LH peak and I’ve not had a temp spike. Feeling a bit poop because this just means I am basically infertile until I get treatment, I get referred in April but I have a high BMI so will need to lose a lot of weight to get to a healthy weight and get prescribed medication. Which is the pits because I have PCOS as well which isn’t just caused by weight. I feel like I have to climb Everest. It’s probably going to take me years before I reach a healthy weight at the rate I manage to lose.
I mean there is a small chance I have ovulated and just haven’t had a temp spike so I guess nothing is ruled out until your period comes but just feeling disappointed.
I'm so sorry you're going through all that. Hang in there! It'll get better. Take it one day at a time, thinking too far ahead is way too stressful.

PCOS is something weird. It's probably something you're born with.
I'm not overweight (my BMI is even a bit too low, but otherwise healthy so 🤷‍♀️), so my gynaegologist was a bit wary, but the echo showed text book polycystic ovaries.
But I do have the pimples, two or three persistant beard hairs on my chin, the testosterone in my blood, and ofcourse the painful and irregular periods.

We'll all get there though ❤

How is everyone today?

I’m due on on Christmas Day but feeling like it might come earlier. Got slightly sore boobs and that feeling in your tummy that happens when you know periods coming. Don’t know if that’s in my head. Trying to stay positive.

Annoying that all you can do is wait and there’s not a little note that pops out your vagina straight after fertilisation saying yay you’re pregnant!
Sorry I laughed out loud at that last bit, I would love that to happen!

I always think I’d love to spin around and appear in maternity wear which happened when I use to play the sims and the sim was pregnant. So much easier than the ttw.

That wait for AF is the worst isn’t it. You think is this AF pains or is it too early could it be implantation.

today is my ovulation day and for the first time since ttc I feel my timings have actually been much better when BDing. So this 2ww will be even more agonising as I’m questioning and clocking everything that happens and everything I feel from now till AF.

Currently TTC #2, well I say TTC, don’t know if I can really say that because I know I’m not ovulating at all so any attempts are pointless but we do it anyway! Everything was fine with #1, took four months. My periods restarted when she was 11 months, but only every 8 weeks so it’s not a real period as such, she’s now 2.5, and been at the point of ‘let’s see what happens’ ever since. Got diagnosed with PCOS in July and waiting for a referral to fertility clinic in April, but I know there will be a backlog due to covid. Currently trying to lose weight to see if that brings back my periods but it’s a catch 22 with PCOS especially with lockdown thrown in. Very odd not even being able to ‘try’ each month. At this point a proper period would be welcome 🙏🏼

Thanks for setting this forum up! I’m new to all of this and can’t believe I never knew anything about ovulation and my cycle before! 🤣 not told anyone apart from my husband that we’re trying so it feels really nice to have a forum to learn from when you can’t ask your friends for advice. I’ve ordered some ovulation strips and started taking folic acid. Due to work and schedules we currently only have sex 1-2 times a week but looking at everyone posts we need to be seriously upping that haha ❤
the month we conceived we actually had sex the least we had done in months in the fertile window. We only had sex twice and it worked for us 🙂 just takes that one right moment I suppose. Great you’ve started folic acid as well. I also took pregncare conceive plus but not religiously and often alternated in with taking folic acid.
wish you lots of luck and hope you get that BFP soon 💖

I'm having a very light period, 4 weeks after having a miscarriage at 12 weeks. I'm going to start tracking again although god knows if this is my actual period or what. Think I'm going to just chill over Christmas and then start tracking ovulation in the new year. How is everyone doing?

5 day DPO for me. Good luck! I feel like now I'm trying I'm so hyperaware of every little twinge in my body that sometimes I think I just imagine twinges that aren't there 😂
Me too! Last month I got some weird pains in my left side 10 dpo. Made the mistake of googling it and then convinced myself that this was it. Unfortunately was just my body playing tricks on my and AF arrived early. Trying my best to ignore any twinges I get now 😩

I think I'll just have to take a bit more clomid. 1 pill/d for 5 days was too much, but now half a pill/day doesn't seem enough.
Last time I went to the gynaecologist, we didn't see a little egg preparing to jump, so I think I just didn't ovulate this month...

I feel for you. I negative test just crushes you, doesn't it...
Fingers crossed for this month!
Part of me is still holding out hope that the negative was because I tested too early. 😞

fingers crossed the clomid dosage works this month x

Hi ladies....I am taking a break from ttc as we have decided to sell our house and move in with my MIL so we can move back to the area we both grew up in, as we have both been feeling the effects of not having family near us this past year. We will purchase a new house at the end of the year. It will be good for us but TTC in my MIL’s house seems way too awkward 🙈 although I know my SIL did it when they lived with her in laws. I still have my fertility referral next month but I’m fairly sure they’ll tell me to lose weight before they do any treatment but at least I will get some sort of plan of action I guess. Just resigning myself to a larger and larger age gap with all this time that passes 💔 best of luck to all of you lovely ladies xx

Not sure if anyone else has read it, but Luisa Zuissman wrote a blog called Maybe Baby about TTC. I’ve just spent £70 on supplements on Amazon after reading it... lots of good reviews so hopefully they do make a difference!
I've been obsessed with OPKs but since AF mid December I've done around 3, I've not tracked my peak, we've just chilled out enjoyed Christmas & enjoyed trying & it's nice not knowing that I may or may not of passed my peak. No idea when my TWW is, if AF comes she comes. If she doesn't we will be over the moon. But I've already saved these in my amazon basket just incase. We're both taking vitamins but a few more can't help!

I’ve done another test but it’s looks so similar! Think I’ll just get a digital one in a few days if AF hasn’t arrived.
It is our first month of trying xx

Pff, little meltdown yesterday when I realised I started taking my clomid a day late. But gynaecologist said it's not a big deal... I felt really bad though and was beating myself up about it ("It's like you don't even want it", you know, that stupid negative voice in your head)...

Ugh, it's hard. I try not to think/worry about it too much (pretty successfully I might say 😅), but then sometimes the sadness becomes overwhelming and eats you alive...

Anyway, needed to rant.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you all and congrats to the lucky ladies! ❤

If you do get your period again, try to think about it as the beginning of a new chance. And try to appreciate the fact that you at least know what's going on.
It's hard, but we're all so strong ❤

Looks like I've got my period yet again 😔
Felt really positive about it this month, but too bad. Felt it coming though: greasier hair, pimples, lower back pain, easily angered, nauseous... Ugh, I hate PCOS...
Kinda scared for the real first day of my period, because ever since I've gotten off the pill (Oct '19), PCOS got free reign and my period has been so SO painful. Waking up crying, unable to do anything foe hours on end, pain killers taking ages to work...

I'm turning 30 in 5 months, I just want baby, why does my body feel the need to punish me for that?!
(I know, I know, my body doesn't really punish me, but ffs it sure feels like it is and I'm feeling hormonal)
On the bright side: it's wine o'clock! 🥳

How's everyone holding up?
Sorry you got your period, it really sucks.
I'm due on tomorrow but took a hpt yesterday and it was negative and startng to get cramps now so aunt flo should be here on time 🙄 Can try again next month! But will be taking a break in March as don't really want a December baby but will continue in April x

Hello all, I'm so sorry to post this here when it might not be the right place, and this may sound stupid, but is this definitely positive!? I took the bottom one yesterday and the top one just now.

I think I'm in such disbelief because I got told there's no way I'd be able to conceive... And then this. I'm also feeling nauseous on and off and my lower back is aching.

I'm sorry if this seems like fishing or something but I genuinely feel like I need another opinion before I tell my husband to make sure I'm not seeing things!

Looks positive to me! Congrats❤ Maybe try and get a digital one today so you have it in writing?😄

After almost 1,5 years of trying... It looks... Positive?
I can't really believe it, so I'll retest tomorrow morning. But that looks like two lines right?! My partner and I are so confused and happy and confused!

Last periods were 19/12 and 21/01. I have PCOS and currently on my second cycle with Letrozole. Was expecting my period around today, but had no real PMS symptoms, so decided testing was in order.

I saw someone asking about Clomid. I've used that before as well (3 cycles, until it was out of stock or something), and had no real complaints. Letrozole came/comes with more complaints (nauseous around ovulation, very painful period), although dosage is perfect for me.
That’s a definite positive. Congrats ☺

I bought a pack of two clear blue early detection tests today. I’m due on Boxing Day and I’m soo tempted to test in the next couple of days... but also worried about doing it in case it is negative. They say they’re pretty accurate for early testing but still 😬
I was due on Christmas Day and tested last night. But I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t have symptoms. Much easier to get period than negative test to be honest.

Hi, I’ve posted on the thread a while ago about how I miscarried almost 2 years ago on Valentine’s Day and had horrible treatment from the NHS etc.
Today me and my husband have spoke and decided it’s time to try again. We have only used condoms since so don’t need to worry about coming off the pill etc.
I’m not using ovulation tests but I’ve downloaded an app about when I’ll be ovulating etc as my periods are like clockwork every 28 days. Wish us luck.

Good luck, wishing you all the luck. I've been following this thread for a while. Trying to conceive baby number 2. I came on today, 3rd month trying. Trying not to get to bogged down as I know its early days but its hard. I fell pregnant straight away the first time but that was 4 years ago and I'm now late 30s so I guessed wouldn't be as easy. Anyway, better luck next month and to you all 🤞

8 dpo today and feeling a bit nauseous and have some cramping every now and then, but nothing too bad. On one hand I'm convinced this is the month, but on the other I'm also scared to get my hopes up. Because if AF arrives, I'll come crashing down.
Why is this such a rollercoaster 😔

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone 🤞❤
