I am 9DPO and keep forgetting to test in the morning 🤦🏼‍♀️
going to place the test on top of the loo tonight so I don’t forget tomorrow!! I am starting to feel a bit weepy though so I feel like AF is probably on the way 🙄

I checked a few products last night, I’ll finish off tonight.. but it’s on in my Olaplex and also in my Armani Luminos Silk Foundation. I know it’s such small doses but that’s something I use most days so that can get in the bin because those doses will add up. Will report back with any more products later!
That foundation is another thing I’ve used for years but recently I switched to Nars. It’s also in the Clarins body cream I use so 2 things I’ve been putting on my skin every day as well as Ouai hair oil with the Olaplex!

Why is it only Olaplex being spoken about? Surely all of these companies will have to remove it if it’s now banned in EU?

I've spent the last few days reading through all the TTC threads and trying to pick up some tips :ROFLMAO:

We are excited but very nervous as we know that sperm donation is difficult to conceive with.
Just out of interest why is donated sperm difficult to conceive with?

You have a certain time frame to get in from the guy, into the syringe and into the women so I just assumed it would be more difficult to conceive plus we can't DTD whenever we want. We have to arrange a set date and hope I didn't mess up calculating it. As long as its before or on ovulation day it should be OK. I hope!!!

I see what you mean. Sorry in my head I was thinking it’s difficult scientifically to fertilise the egg etc.
I assume you are doing AI not IVF? Have you got OPK? That should help you get a better idea of your ovulation day x

Yeah I've got OPK. We are doing AI because I went to the Dr and they said we would have to fund between 9-12 cycles of IVF before the NHS would even consider us and we don't have that kind of money unfortunately.

I was about 5 months out from my loss when I spoke to my doctor. He was actually very understanding and ordered blood tests. Unfortunately he's not been able to help much after the blood test and said he wouldn't be able to refer me to specialists until a year after the loss but the blood tests helped me better understand what night have been wrong

Tested 3 days early today with Clearblue Digital - obviously a fat no :(
I know as soon as I get the stomach cramps - AF is on her way and its game over. Never had that with my first pregnancy ( which resulted in a loss. )
Waiting for a call back from my Dr to discuss IVF as I cannot seriously do this anymore and so worried about my age ( 40 this year. )

Just worried the Dr will say it hasn't been long enough to be considered for IVF as its only 6 months since the PL?
( Will check the Pregnancy Loss thread too )

Baby dust everyone! x

Olaplex is being spoken about because someone made a tiktok that has gone viral. From what I’ve read, it’s banned from 1st March 2022 in EU production in all products. So products will still be sold for now that have already been made, but they can’t put it in production formulas from now onwards

That's good your Dr understanding - and that the blood tests helped with some answers? Mine came back clear and I saw a fertility specialist too who said the same ( just low egg count due to my age, but I fell pregnant the following month ) so I think they'll ask my partner to do a semen analysis as next step.

I just hate that everything seems to take so long? A year seems a long time to wait to see a specialist, especially if you've been trying a while even before the loss too. Knowing what I know know, I wished Id started trying a lot sooner x

I didn't ovulate and have anaemia so I'm hoping fixing the anaemia will fix it too. Looks like I was ovulating before though as I was getting my period and this is the only month I've not had it so not sure what happened before. I wish he could've given me something like clomid though

I had this email today from let’s get checked. Don’t know if it might help anyone if you’re wanting to get tests done but not getting anywhere with your doctors they have a few different ones with a 20% off code x

Hello hello, I have a question if anyone is able to help please?
This is my second cycle back after my mmc, my cycles are usually 28-30 days long. This is the first time I have used OPKs and I ovulated day 18.. this has now pushed my predicted cycle to be 32 days long even though I never usually have them that long. Do you think I should test on cd28/29 or do the full tww (unless my period comes before then) which would be on cd32.
I never realised I could be ovulating late but could answer why I keep miscarrying! This is my first month taking progesterone suppositories and the false symptoms it’s giving already is a mind duck 🤯

Can i ask out of nosinesd why you're on progesterone suppositories?
Id test any time 14 days after peak opk.

Thought it would be, hopefully I can hold out until then. I’m purposely not buying any tests so I can avoid temptation 😂
I’m on progesterone as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past 6 months and have endo which often means you have lower progesterone levels so my gp just wanted to try it out.

Ive ovulated on anything between day 12 to day 19! And still had a 28 day cycle. It isn't a hard and fast rule that late ovulation prolongs the cycle. You just have a shorter luteal phase if you ovulate later, generally speaking.

Period due in the morning, test then or not? Hate wasting money on tests 😒 I'll spend all the money on supplements and appointments but throwing a fiver test in bin just annoys me lol
Can't help but remind myself that the tarot reader said in November that I'd be pregnant in 3 to 5 months so it's been 5 months now but I can feel the dull thud of a period headache coming as well ☹

Don’t test if you can help it. Test the next day if it doesn’t come. Throwing all the baby dust your way ✨

Buy the cheap boots strips, I think you get 5 in a pack and they're about a fiver. I used go straight to the CB digital ones(!!) And i saw something recently online saying there's absolutely no need to go expensive, they've all got the same little strip built into them testing the same thing but they're just made to look fancy.

As you’ve come so far I would wait another day when your period is late. Everything crossed for you. Also I highly recommend easy@home pregnancy test strips off of Amazon. They are cheap and they picked up my pregnancy the same time as frer did. No evap lines either.

I’ve got these ones too and they are fab (I’m guessing, I’ve never had a positive 🤣)

When I first started.. I was like why do people not buy clearblue when they are so easy to use and clear to see.. omg a few months in and I realised that mistake 🤣
