Guys. I’m freaking out. My period still hadn’t come so I just did another FRER…. I’m too scared to get excited after last time. I daren’t even tell my partner and get his hopes up in case it doesn’t stick. I went out at the weekend and now I’m feeling so guilty about it
I’m so sorry, I’ve had 2 chemicals the last 3 months and I know how heart breaking it is. Don’t feel bad that you told people, having support is so important and also when people know what you’re going through it stops a lot of comments that can be hurtful unintentionally (eg when will you be having a baby then, better hurry up, etc).I think I’m having a chemicalwell.. I know I am.
I feel so stupid for getting so excited in the first place. We told our parents as it’s our first baby/pregnancy and I wouldn’t be able to keep it away from them as we see them so often. My husbands had to go to work today so I’m home alone to ride this out, I can’t stop crying. I just really want to have a baby… how soon can we start trying again?

I have used these and yes it’s totally normal. This is a bit TMI but thought this was probably the best place to ask, nothing feels a too far on this thread, ha!
I’ve been researching why I might not get much fertile CM and one of the suggestions was candida/thrush, so I’m taking some candida support capsules and have used a thrush pessary. Has anyone ever used the canesten pessary before? If so, how long did it take to go back to normal afterwards? I used the pessary on wednesday night, noticed a lot of chalky discharge as advised yesterday and still a little bit today. Is it normal to also feel more ‘wet’ afterwards? It’s not just the chalkiness from the pessary, it’s quite a lot!
Thank you <3Sending you hugs. Whilst the bleeding could mean a chemical, it could also just be a light bleed. Have you taken another test, with my chemicals/losses, the line has gotten lighter before I started bleeding, so it’s normally quite a good indicator.
If it’s still positive or darker then it could just be a bit of light bleeding which can be common in early pregnancy. If it’s lighter or negative then it sadly is probably a chemical. Keeping my fingers crossed for you![]()
Oh that's so much to consider. Poor you having to think about it all.I'm not sure if this is the right thread or not but looking for some unbiased perspective on my circumstances:
In short I've got a daughter who was conceived (very luckily) with no bother or complications. After her I went on to miscarry 5 times over a period of years, I did find them as most people do both physically and emotionally hard. My husband was good, but he's not the emotional sort and I know it didn't affect him in the way it affected me - he didn't like the way it impacted me if that makes sense. Drs kept dismissing there was an issue because I already had a daughter until loss number 4. when I had investigations done, they found a womb abnormality where by I had a solid wall separating the womb in two - the consultant couldn't fathom how I had conceived a child and said if he'd seen me not knowing he would have said I'd be highly unlikely to carry a child. anyway summer 2019 I had the op to break the wall down.. was advised to leave it a few months to heal but the consultant was confident and said come see me next year with your baby.. we started trying again at the Christmas but by the time COVID hit in the March we just stopped. my husband became quite depressed as he had work issues and we basically stopped intercourse. I fell pregnant once in the spring but it was a chemical pregnancy (all my other losses have been at 10-12 weeks). Last year with my husband depressed, lack of trying etc I got fed up of putting my life on hold for another child, enrolled in a course in college and fast forward to this year I'm now in university... my husband is now better mentally (although winter is always hard for him because he has SAD). I'm worried that I've gone along with the course, now in uni etc as a distraction and I'll wake up in 3 years time and my one child will be double digits, my husband will be mid 40's (I'm 10 years younger than him) and I'll have missed the boat - husband never wanted to be "an old dad" and before the losses would say he didn't want anymore children after turning 40, which he then stopped saying as we approached that milestone for him and I was still in the middle of my miscarriage.
Do I learn to be happy with my one miracle child (who I am honestly so grateful for) or do I give it one more go before that chapter closes? I just feel like after my operation I didn't give it a solid go (pretty much 3 months and caught on the 3rd which we lost straight away). or is a 8-9 year age gap too big anyway..
Would this be impossible for anyone else? It's having sex every other day and then every day around ovulation and then every other day again.![]()
Digital tests usually are taken after you miss your period and aren’t as sensitive as earlier tests.I want to ask this but i sincerely don't want to come across as insensitive etc. And I'm genuinely sorry for the girls who got their hopes up with positives and then dashed for various reasons because that's heart breaking and i hope you are looking after yourselves.
My question is, these pregnancy strips etc you use trying to see a line or a faint line comparing to evap lines and so on..... why don't you use a digital test? Christ knows they're more expensive but there's zero room for interpretation then, it's either pregnant or not? I ask because those faint lines can be cruel and get hopes up?
I get concerns from Saving, planning point of view. But from child's perspective: Me and my sister are exactly 5 years and 1 day apart. It was never an issue growing up as my mum always made sure we each had our own separate day, cake, party etc. Now we’re adults we love have birthdays together and doing something special for them. XI'm kind of in the same boat. My son turned 2 in july, and I got pregnant with him in October. We started for Letrozole again this cycle and I should be ovulating by the end of the week. Now our son was due August 1st, but we had a scheduled C-section July 8th. I'm not sure how it's going to go with 2 birthdays that close.
