TRIGGER WARNING

Hey, I am back on this thread having suffered a loss. Our baby was diagnosed with Acrania (it was discovered that it’s skull hadn’t formed) and wouldn’t survive so I had a surgical termination two weeks ago. Hardest thing I’ve ever done but it was the right decision.

My question is, when is it safe to start trying again/tracking?
Oh Neo, I've been thinking of you... I'm so sorry for your loss, it broke my heart when you posted about it in the other thread. Good to hear you're doing well under these circumstances. You're a tough cookie ❤

For all the other ladies, don't lose hope. It took me about 1,5 years to fall pregnant (and PCOS diagnosis and treatment).
If you're worried, reach out to your GP, they can refer you. Baby dust for you all ✨
It does seem unfair how easy it can be for some and how hard for others 😔

I’m five days away from period and about 8/9 dpo. Took a test yesterday and was negative - even though too early I already feel deflated 🙈 I hate the waiting part! It’s a constant mix of being excited and then disappointed 😫

So after 2.5 years of ttc we are booked I for IUI next month. Not sure whether to be excited or prepare myself for the disappointment that it may not work.

Hard to be excited when our only diagnosis is unexplained secondary infertility so they haven't found any issue that is stopping us from comceving naturally which makes me feel like conceving with assistance won't be so easy either.

Anyway just need to do something to stop myself going crazy 🤪

If anyone wonders what the process is like feel free to ask away x

I'm out this month 😔 tested negative 12dpo (early test) which I expected as temperature was stable before going down a bit. Weirdly it's gone back up today but I'm expecting it to go back down and AF to arrive tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing okay 💜

I don’t think I’ve ever had ovulation symptoms but I do get random cramps and twinges throughout my cycle. Would love to be able to see inside my uterus and see what’s actually going on 😂

I am 7dpo and have caught another stinking cold off of my lovely son after just getting over the last one he gave me. You know you’re obsessed when you start googling if having a cold in TWW can be a symptom.
Ugh honestly I've googled the most obscure things during the TWW! "Do your nails break easily in early pregnancy" haha :ROFLMAO:

I'm going to try my best not to symptom spot, or test early this month. After I felt so certain I was pregnant last cycle, I think it's just best for me mentally to switch off from it until I have a reason to test 🤞

Sending love to everyone that's currently having a hard time or struggling - you'll get through this 💕

We didn’t track/officially try this month for the first time in over two and a half years and I was really hoping for one of those stereotypical ‘we fell pregnant when we stopped trying’ but I’m so sure my period is about to arrive. It’s due tomorrow, I’m breaking out on my chin and have had a headache and cramping for the last couple of days 😩

New here (made a new account to stay anonymous) Super depressed today. Been TTC for about 4 years. First 2 kids were super easy and fell pregnant within a month. Third took 6 years and 2 early miscarriages and one at 16 weeks. But then I got my rainbow. Wanted one more. I have PCOS which has been debated between my Gynae and GP. They can't decide whether I have or not.

December 2021 - first time in years I had EWCM positive opks, DTD on the right days. Fast forward to this month and testing. 8 bfps on Tuesday night. Those 12 hours, pure joy. Then realized the tests were the wrong way, I knew something was weird but was just so happy. Got out another pack of tests and low and behold bfn after bfn.

So depressing. Everything seems to be going wrong. Just feel really weepy and down and fed up with life.

I'm 37 and I know I should have given up a while ago. I am grateful for the 3 that I have. Just can't help wanting one more. I make my mind up that I just can't do this anymore and then think MAYBE next month. But, I want to snap out of this, I just don't know how.

I so badly want another baby. I just can't take the process anymore. I want to be able to stop and call it a day at the same time I don't.
honestly feel so shitty. I just want to cry and cry. Sorry for being depressing, I have nobody that understands what I am going through and basically all tell me to just snap out of it, it's not meant to be. Seems the only things that are meant to be for me these days are just one crap storm after another.

Came home from work and my tests had arrived so of course I couldn't resist. BFN.
I am terrible for staring at tests until I think I can see a line. I know there will be no doubting it when it appears. I'm the same with covid lateral flows 😂

Hi ladies, due af today but not shown which is unusual for me in the sense that it normally starts first thing. I did do FRER on Monday and it was a clear bfn (would have been roughly 12dpo) - I wanted to know if anybody had got bfn with FRER before missed period then later got bfp?? X
My period was due on the Wednesday, I tested that day, the Thursday and the Saturday with FRERs which were negative then got a positive on the Monday. Turns out I ovulated later than I thought - you’re not out until AF arrives 💕 good luck xx

It really is - the drain emotionally and mentally is huge. Changing your lifestyle to optimise your success, tracking everything, spending money on vitamins and lube and test strips, pouncing on your partner even when you’re not in the mood, symptom spotting like a MoFo, trying to keep positive and stress-free and even trying to bloody manifest a pregnancy because you read somewhere that it worked for someone, then feeling like an absolute failure every month, but having to pick yourself up and try again.

Plus the negative emotions of anger and jealousy at other people which are horrible to experience but eat at you over time. I hate that just as much as the feeling like a failure on a monthly basis.

Sorry to drag the tone down guys - it is good to vent in a safe space with people who get it though.

Good luck to everyone for their next/current cycle 🤞🏻🙌
I’ve been following this thread for a while but had to join to say your post is spot on! You’ve just described everything I go through every month trying to conceive. I dream of the day I’m off this merry go round! Every day is so draining mentally.

I’ve also suffered with my cycle since my 2nd Jab in August , I’m not sure if it was the jab or just my hormones being all over the place but I had a 2 week period shortly after having it so I’m undecided about the booster as don’t want to risk it disrupting my cycle again

I'm 7dpo today and I can feel that itch to test starting 😒

I know it's too early. I know testing now would just spoil my day. I know it's a stupid idea.

It's going to be a long few days.

Hi all
I'm 8dpo and this is my third proper cycle after a mc at the end of September. Really hoping this is my month. I've been taking so many supplements, had a really good surge on cd14 and strong ovulation signs. I agree with everyone saying this is so stressful though. I was fortunate enough to catch when I wasn't really trying but my body seems to have taken ages to get back to normal again it just feels cruel

I want to wait until I am late to test but my cycles are so irregular 😭 they’ve ranged from 31 days to 46 days. (This one has been 56 but I’m not counting it as it’s first cycle post MC).

I’d been hoping to give up ovulation testing and try and relax more but then I will really have no idea if I’m late or not. Also I do seem to have a specific symptom which I’ve now had both times that I think would clue me in tbf even if I don’t test early. (Very painful congested sinuses - weird I know but had it both times from about 8 dpo. Never had it otherwise and gone as soon as I’ve started bleeding.)

I really struggle to find balance between wanting to do as much as possible to up our chances and not letting it take over my life.

Hey ladies, hope it’s ok for me to join this thread. My husband and I are finally ttc after 5 years of marriage… it’s been a long time coming! it will be my first pregnancy. I keep overthinking every little feeling I have inside my body and feel like I’m tricking myself into thinking I’m pregnant!😫 I was diagnosed with Endo 11 years ago so I really hope this doesn’t affect my chances in reality.
For those who have been pregnant before, how early on did you ‘know’ you were pregnant? Did you have a gut feeling or just felt like you were before doing a test? Sending well wishes to you all ❤

Does anyone else have to do Covid tests for work at a job that absolutely strips their mental health and they’re desperate for some time off but can’t take it?
I’m at the point where I’d be equally happy with either of these being positive. 😭

Can’t remember if I’ve posted about preseed here before but I had success with it twice getting bfps on the 3rd cycle both times and first cycle using it. I put it down to chance at the time but also recommended it to one of my friends who was also TTC as there’s no downside to using it and she also conceived first time on third cycle. One of my oldest friends has been TTC for almost 2 years with one loss in that time and I recommended her to give it a try last month and she’s just got her BFP first cycle using it! I’m so happy for her.

Could all be completely down to chance and it’s not a cure all by any means but it appear to help in my anecdotal experience. Thought I would share here in case it’s useful to anyone else. I’m back to using it again now following my loss and hoping it brings us some luck again 🤞🏻

I was SO sure I was pregnant this month. We’d had lots of sex at the right times and I’d started feeling sick in the morning, tender boobs etc.

I’ve been really ill the last few days with what I thought was cystitis but is actually a kidney infection, and when he did the test he also said I wasn’t pregnant and prescribed antibiotics not to be used in pregnancy 😭

I’m only CD24 of what is normally a 29 day cycle, but now I just want my period to arrive if it’s not meant to be.
Thats a bit early for the doc to say you're definitely not pregnant though surely? I had cystitis when trying for my little boy and the doc gave me the antibiotics you can take in pregnancy...luckily as I was.

This month I couldn't face peeing on any sticks for OPKS. I then had a horrific reaction to the booster so doubt this month will be our month but will go again in the new year. Anyone else feeling a bit disheartened with it all this month? I think I'd overthought announcing to my family on Xmas day. Sending you all lots of love xx
