I’ve had very sore boobs since Friday as mentioned in this thread but all negative tests Friday/Sat/Sun.. I am 1 day late and this is pretty clear to me 🥰😭 trying not to get too excited as this a miscarried a few weeks ago so know how quick these things can be taken away from you but I can’t believe it 😭
Congrats lovely. Just enjoy it if you can and try not to worry 💙💙💙
I'm 10 DPO today and currently staring at a cheapy test squinting to see if there is anything there. No joy yet but as the saying goes you're not out till you're out...so until AF arrives I shall remain optimistic and if it does arrive...well i can drink at all the Xmas parties that are probably going to be cancelled 😂

Hi everyone, long time lurker but thought I would make an account and join in the fun. We are currently TTC and (I think!) will be going in to our 4th cycle soon. I am currently 10DPO and have been having period type pains for the past day or so, so not exactly hopeful. You’re taught to do everything you can to not get pregnant as having unprotected sex once will 100% lead to a baby, and nothing is more frustrating than when actually trying to make it happen, and it doesn’t!

Just jumping on here if you all don’t mind 🤞🏼 I already have a 14 month old daughter and we were wanting to try for baby no.2. I got my BFP but unfortunately miscarried at 7 weeks on Christmas day. I’ve had a scan today to confirm the miscarriage is complete and a negative test, all I can think about is trying again. Im no longer bleeding, I asked the the midwife who advised to wait for my first period to try again, is this right or can I start trying straight away? I’ve bought ovulation tests and everything I can’t think of anything else. Im also still breastfeeding just morning and night does anyone else have any experience with having a successful pregnancy while breastfeeding?
Thank you all in advance and happy new year to you all ❤❤

My sister just announced her pregnancy. Just married and presumably successful on their first attempt.

My first emotion was sheer jealousy. I don't think that showed on my face. Of course I'm happy for her but I feel like I've been kicked in the chest.

I cried in the car for 45 minutes.

I'm a horrible person.
Absolutely not a horrible person, your feelings are completely valid, I hope you’re okay! ♥

I had the joy of my stepchildren telling me on Christmas morning that they’re having a new baby brother. That was the hardest forced smile and “aw that’s fantastic” I’ve had to do.

Hey lovelies. Hope you’re all okay! Haven’t been too active in a while.

I’m feeling a bit sad lately with Christmas coming up. Last year, I was convinced I’d be revealing my pregnancy to my loved ones. I had it all planned out. It’s difficult being in the same position, but with a lot less hope.
Does anyone have any tips to deal with Christmas?

Hi ladies, I’ve been taking some time away from this thread for a while. I think I’m currently 1DPO, the last two months AF didn’t arrive whatsoever which made me feel really low and discouraged, probably the worst I’ve felt during my TTC journey. This is also the first cycle that I'm choosing not to ovulation test, however I'm convinced I ovulated yesterday/day before as I’ve had really intense symptoms yesterday: dull aching pains around where my left ovary is, lower back ache and even felt lightheaded yesterday (and not to forget just being really moody - feeling really sorry for my OH!) We DTD Saturday & yesterday too so I’m really really hoping that we’ve caught it right this month 🤞🏼 Trying not to think to much about it!

Hi everyone,
I’ve been lurking for a little bit but felt like I needed to post today. On cycle 3 of TTC and was expecting AF on Friday. Had a little spotting yesterday and generally feeling tired so was hopeful. Woke up in the middle of the night last night with my 3y/o and felt period pains and found AF had arrived early! My cycle is usually quite regular so surprised and also feeling really deflated.

I know we’ve only been trying for 3 cycles but I’m finding the whole process so emotionally draining and just feel I’m counting down days each month to each stage of cycle.
I know I’m really lucky to have a gorgeous daughter already but desperately want her to have a sibling. Also feel the time ticking of her getting older too. Didn’t really ‘try’ as such with my daughter so I think I’m also feeling frustrated with how stressful this all is! Drives me mad I’ve spent so much of my adult life feeling scared or worried about getting pregnant and now its all I want, it feels like it’s so difficult.

sorry for my little rant- just needed to get it out after waking up so disappointed this morning.

Hello everyone it’s been quite difficult to post this as I have been struggling with TTC for a number of years now. 11 to be precise. I stopped for a while as the pressure was becoming hard and early this year lo and behold I found out I was pregnant wasn’t even trying. My partner and I were over the moon so so happy. All came crashing down 7+5 where I started bleeding and miscarried. Que the devastation. We were entitled to 1 IVF treatment on NHS in 2015 and this failed we do not have the funds for this which is heartbreaking as we both work but live in the south where everything is super expensive. Every time we have tired to save something has gone wrong with the house car etc. Anyway, I confided my pregnancy with a good friend of mine and she was super happy for me. Obviously when it went wrong she was very supportive. Fast forward 9 months my due date has just passed and on this day my friend announced she was pregnant. I am very happy for her she’s been with her partner as long as I have but only just started TTC. My question is I have been crying a lot since she announced removed myself from all social media and feel devestated as I wish it was me. Is it wrong to feel like this. I don’t think I have grieved for my loss. To top it off after 11 years and misdiagnosis I have just been diagnosed with endometriosis which was spotted in 2015 after my ivf and never ever been told. So I am double devastated, I feel so sad that it can be so difficult to conceive when there are awful people out there that do not even look after their children. I have dogs to help but it is not the same I long for my own child and now I’m the wrong side of 30 :( thanks for listening xx

I've had 3 friends recently announce pregnancies and if I'm 100% honest I didn't feel happy for them. That's something I really struggle with.
Me too. I feel like a terrible person.

what’s worse is when they have the baby and I’m still not pregnant.. 😭

Is anybody else terrified that it will just never happen? We've never got a positive but somehow I feel like if I knew I would concieve (even if it was years away), I'd be more relaxed and it would feel less pointless. All I've ever wanted is to be a Mum and after 9/10months of ttc, it's starting to feel like it'll never happen. Also feeling fed up of putting everything on hold 'just in case' like not drinking, just to get BFN month after month.

Hope I've explained my point well enough, just feeling angry at the world today😂

For the first time in months after coming off the pill I feel like I'm having ovulation symptoms.
Pain in the side of my uterus, feeling extra 'saucy' and all other symptoms you normally get - I haven't had chance to go to shops for a ovulation test yet but I am hoping this is the start of my body going back to normal after coming off contraception!

Not a big deal really but a small start for me!!!

So…I just found out my brother in law and his fiancée are expecting their first child. It was written in a Christmas card to me and my husband and I instantly broke down in tears when I read it (my B-I-L and his partner weren’t present, my husband brought the card home with him from visiting his brother), so it was just my husband present. My emotions were uncontrollable, I’ve never burst into tears so quickly.

I felt so guilty and selfish afterwards for my first emotions not being happiness and excitement for them but sadness for me because that’s what I want more than anything. They weren’t actively trying which knowing that made it harder for me. Of course I am so happy for them and it will be lovely to have a baby in the family but equally it’s a tough one to swallow. I know I’ll be fine and I’ll get over the initial shock. It was an unexpected surprise to the whole family so I can be forgiven for being shocked but I can’t/ don’t want be feeling upset or that constant feeling inside of “I wish it was me” when there’s talk of the pregnancy or the baby with the in-laws or feeling almost jealous of them being in the situation that I would love more than anything to be in. 😔

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has felt similar?
My brother video called me out of the blue last year to announce he and his wife were expecting. I plastered a grin on while tears welled in my eyes. I sobbed after the call. My mum is not sympathetic at all as she conceived 3 times easily. She tells me to relax. I literally don't ovulate and am beginning treatment when I'm well enough. I'm lucky my husband is a support.

I'm not jealous as such...I just want it for myself, not to take it from them. Anyway the baby is here now and an utter joy.

Sending love ❤

Met some friends I haven’t seen in a few years & got asked “would I go again?” I ignored it the first time but got asked a second time so I just brushed it off to say “dunno, sure see what happens” as I didn’t want to ruin a nice lunch by telling to mind her own effing business 👊🏻

why do people think this is ok? Or is just the people who clearly never had any difficulty conceiving. So annoying!

Thank you ❤ We’re okay. Just taking one day at a time. But I think my brain just needs to know what’s going on down there.

Can you get pregnant if you still are testing positive on a pregnancy test? (I don’t know if this is a stupid question) I’m not pregnant but I still have raised HCG.
Hi Neo. I was also lurking on that thread and am so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are holding up ok (as much as you can!). I had my 12 week scan early Aug to find I had a missed miscarriage. I had a medical management shortly after and feel the same as you, I want to know where my cycle is and what’s going on. I need to take a pregnancy test Monday 3 weeks post treatment l make sure it’s negative and then can start trying once I’ve had my period - as someone else said the hospital recommended waiting for it to help date any future pregnancy. It all feels very odd at the moment. In some sense because I carried on working (from home) through it (I needed to take my mind elsewhere) it feels like it never happened. Only me and my bf knew as we didn’t share the news which sort of helped with that too tbh. And then every now and then I get this feeling wash over me that I can’t even begin to explain. Thinking of you x x x x

I’ve just been reading this thread and it’s actually really comforting to know that there are other people feeling the same things. AF is due Wednesday and none of the usual signs I’d expect now are coming through but I’m so anxious to see if she arrives - I know if she does I’ll be gutted 😓

Baby dust to you all ✨✨

After AF in late Nov I deliberately avoided ttc in December so I could fully embrace the xmas celebrations and not have the tww hanging over me. AF was due xmas eve too and I didn’t want my hopes up / the disappointment that comes with it. It’s been a very weird and difficult one this year as I had a MMC in August. But having some control again and not trying actually felt good - never thought I would say that! Here’s to 2022 ladies. I’m a bit more of a lurker than a poster but sending love and hope to you all xxx

I caved this morning and tested.. BFN 😢 I know they say you’re not out until AF but I just feel really deflated, I was convinced I would see a BFP this morning.
I’m now 13DPO, AF is due any day now.

I’ve just done a test, I’m 11DPO (technically it wasn’t my first wee of the day as the wind keeping me awake all night meant I went at 5am 🤣)
I did a first response. It looks negative. However I’ve over analysed it (like we all do) and I’ve now convinced myself there’s a very very very faint line. And it’s consumed my brain and I’m getting upset.
I think I’m seeing things it’s because I desperately want to see that line again, my OH has looked and he can’t say he sees anything.

I just needed to get this out of my brain, sorry x
