Hi ladies.
been a lurker on this thread for a while now. Me and hubby have been actively ttc since august, before then it was a case of if it happens, it happens. I’d been tracking my periods in the Flo app, which predicted when I was ovulating, but AF came every time. I’ve recently ordered some OPKs from Amazon (easy at home) and took one just to see, even though I was passed ovulation (or so thought) and it had me at peak then, so obviously 😜
I’m now 5DPO and this TWW seems far worse than all the others.
im 32 and had regular periods since I was 11 so I’m hoping that means we won’t have any issues, but I am technically obese. It’s just the not knowing what the future holds is stressing me

Definitely! Have one last hurrah before a baby arrives! You’ll appreciate the last lovely holiday I’m sure when you’re next one is with a little baby 🤣 if you had said your honeymoon is November and you’re 43 I may have chosen a different answer but I think a couple of months is worth the wait 😍🥰

Where are you going?
Definitely especially with not being able to holiday for the last two years, I want to be able to enjoy an all inclusive fully 🤣 We are going to Cuba ☺

Hey! Fellow pcos sufferer here I’m currently waiting for my referral to start treatment.. when I spoke to my local fertility clinic directly they said their waiting list is roughly 3 months. But obviously that can depend on where you live! X
Ah thanks for the insight, pcos is awful isn’t it! It wasn’t such a big thing for me when I didn’t want to conceive as the pill really helped with all the symptoms but now it’s like a minefield.
3 months isn’t too bad of a waiting list, I was expecting 6months + due to covid. I’ll make sure to reach out to my gp to see if they have any further knowledge in our area. Please keep us updated on your journey 🤞

Thanks for the new thread!
I'm having a bit of a TTC dilemma. If I got pregnant this cycle the due date would be a few days before my son's birthday. He's been an only child for 10 years and I'm worried it would make him feel pushed out. However, this is our 10th cycle TTC and I really don't want to miss one out at this stage and I feel like chances are it won't happen anyway! What would you do?
I'm kind of in the same boat. My son turned 2 in july, and I got pregnant with him in October. We started for Letrozole again this cycle and I should be ovulating by the end of the week. Now our son was due August 1st, but we had a scheduled C-section July 8th. I'm not sure how it's going to go with 2 birthdays that close.

Thank you so much 🤩
I believe I’m 10 or 11DPO! Xx

Ooh you're 1/2 days ahead of me and I was sure I was out this month after bfn this morning... but I'm almost certain I experienced implantation bleeding yesterday (was the palest blood ever and only lasted about an hour) so hopefully if I wait a few days I might get a positive 🤞🤞 how many days until you were due on? Soooo happy for you ❤

Great news! At least you don’t have TOO long to wait either! 🤞🏼

Sorry you were feeling so rubbish yesterday - I hope you’ve managed a good nights sleep and feel a bit brighter today! We all understand that feeling here you’re definitely not alone! 💕 x
Thank you, I do feel a bit better today 💗. It’s difficult isn’t it, like constant mind games. You feel the things you do, then battle with yourself that you shouldn’t feel this negativity. But it’s totally okay. It’s okay to feel disappointed someone else is pregnant. It’s okay to distance yourself from pregnancy and baby chat if you’re not feeling it.

Does anyone know what we can expect from the first specialist appointment? 😊

Fingers crossed for you, I became pregnant again after my miscarriage before even having another cycle (I have my dating scan today 🤞) however, i think I ovulated later than what I normally do and I have heard this happening to others following a miscarriage
Congratulations! 🥰 Thanks for sharing this gives me hope. I’m over 2 weeks post miscarriage and had my positive OPK yesterday 🤞🏻

My difficulty wasn't conceiving after having it taken out (it took about a month or so for my periods to get back to normal) it was getting the implant out to begin with. That took about 3 months because they jammed it so far into my arm they were having difficulty retrieving. I even had a private appointment who said I would need an op to remove (I didn't - just persisted with GPs/various walk in clinics until I struck lucky). But if it feels near the surface I'm sure it's fine!
Oh god that sounds awful. Mine is so close to the surface that I've worried for the last year or so that it could get ripped out accidentally! 🙈

I need to vent 😭😭
Still waiting for a referral to fertility but it was put on hold as my husbands sperm analysis wasn’t clear. He had it done again and it’s come back really low motility.
I really don’t know what to even think right now, with having pcos and now this all I’ve done is cry 😭
So sorry lovely. We’re also recently had bad analysis result so I know how you feel xx

I think I’m about 4dpo but not holding out much hope for this cycle so haven’t really been paying attention to the TWW which has kinda been nice!

Does your maternity leave entitlement continue in the new role? If it doesn't maybe hold off until you've been there the required length of time but if it does continue go for it!
I was recently offered a much better paying job in private health care but turned it down because the NHS maternity policy is better and I didn't want to leave myself in a vulnerable position if I took that job and fell pregnant quickly - their policy required working there for a certain length of time prior to maternity leave.
Yes, it continues luckily as my employers stay the same. I work in a few gp practices but am employed by a social services organisation, I’ll be moving to a different gp practice to start up this new role so my employers don’t change. My main worry is that they will be annoyed that they would have replaced me in my current practice with a new person and then would need to find mat cover for me a few months later, when I could have just turned down the offer (although they would have to find mat cover regardless..) Maybe I’m over-worrying this and being a suck up to my company? 😂 should I worry less about this? 😂

I think your good. Sperm lasts for 5 days and I’ve heard some people says it’s best to do it 3 days before ovulation anyway x
Hey everyone, i’m new to this so hoping someone can help me! Ive been tracking my ovulation cycle and i finally got a peak result on day CD 16 at 12.30pm, I tested again that evening and was still peak. I then tested both morning and evening on CD 17, and was also peak. My question is, if i had intercourse twice on CD 16 and once on CD 17, will i be covered in my fertile window? I know once you get a peak, you usually start ovulating 12 - 24 hours after, but i’m just stressing myself out incase I didn’t actually ovulate until after the second day of having a peak result of that makes sense?😫

Did anyone have continuous symptoms from ovulation through to AF/BFP? Usually my ovulation symptoms fade away pretty quickly but I’m currently 2/3DPO and still experiencing pulling around the left side of my pelvis/ovary, extremely sore/sensitive nipples and I thought I was going to throw up through the night. Just wondering if any of you have ever experienced this before? I’ve given up trying to figure out my body!

I'm 7dpo today and I can feel that itch to test starting 😒

I know it's too early. I know testing now would just spoil my day. I know it's a stupid idea.

It's going to be a long few days.
7dpo here too! I am resisting the itch by not having any tests in the house 🤣 hang on in there x

Could I ask for some advice/information please?

I've been using the Clear Blue OPKs that predict your 4 most fertile days. Yesterday was the first time I've ever had the flashing smiley, I normally only ever had the empty circle. In fairness I wasn't testing consistently and going by the dates I've been testing way too early, getting disheartened/worried there was something wrong with me then playing the waiting game until my period came.

My cycle is generally 28 days. I recognised the change in my CM yesterday and took the ovulation test and it showed me the flashing smiley face. I just tested again and it's still the flashing smiley. My understanding is a static smiley is my peak fertility?

So. I guess my question is: if I don't see the static smiley does this mean I haven't ovulated yet? Or does it mean I have ovulated but my most fertile day is to come?

Also, if my cycle is 28 days and I got the flashing smiley on day 17, is this "normal"? Or is that quite late?

Sorry, I'm embarrassingly uneducated and I tried looking online and felt so overwhelmed.

2 days late. Negative tests including ClearBlue 7 days early test. I did have Covid New Years… has this affected anyone else’s cycles…? Double vaxxed but the bad hasn’t messed up my cycle as of yet? Very confused. Normally have 28 day cycles. DTD on my fertile days over Christmas… don’t know what to think!
Do you know when you ovulated? I was testing negative until my period was 5 days late! (I didn’t have covid but I did have my second jab that cycle) xx

I’m always confused when to count CD1 if it starts late at night! My period started at about 11pm last night, so is yesterday CD1 or today?
