Hey all, I'm new here and I'm feel like I'm going insane.

How do you all manage to stay calm during this time?
Hey...welcome! 👋

We don't! :ROFLMAO: I'm currently 10DPO and driving myself mad! Trying to hold out until the day AF is due before i even consider testing but I'm struggling and eating my feelings 😂

Sending positive vibes to everyone for this cycle! 🤞 xx

Hi everyone, still here still TTC. Currently on my 8th cycle and I think I’m not doing to ovulate 😔 currently on CD15 and my strip opks are low, digital is just a flashing smiley for the past 5 days and I’ve usually had my peak and darker lines by now! Why is this process so disheartening 😔 I’m getting ridiculed for not getting the booster but study shows it messes up your menstrual cycle and I just can’t bring myself to get it done. I’m double vaccinated and already worried that’s buggered up our chances 🙃
Sorry for the long message needed to vent 😔

How is everyone doing? ☺

Struggling today - my cousin is in labour and whilst I’m really happy for her I’m struggling with my jealousy. I feel like a terrible person that I can’t just be happy for her 😞 my whole family is so happy and excited and I just feel jealous 😞

On the plus side AF has finally pissed off so I can make a start on cycle 12! Can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year of trying! 🤞🏼

Looking for a bit of advice please ✨

Husband and I are going on honeymoon in March (pushed back because of Covid) and we are torn with how to navigate TTC over the next couple of months.

Do we carry on TTC for the next couple of months as it’s not guaranteed that I would fall pregnant before the honeymoon anyway. Or do we put a pause on TTC now until the honeymoon. There’s a part of me that is just concerned that as it now gets closer to the honeymoon that if I were to fall pregnant before that I would be in the early weeks and potentially feel unwell when we are away.

We know that in the grand scheme of things March isn’t too long to wait but it’s just frustrating at the thought of putting it on pause 🙈

We’ve not told anyone that we are TTC as we don’t want any pressure so we only have ourselves to discuss this with and we are torn. What would you guys do?

if you got to the bottom of this well done and thank you! 😄
I guess it’s up to you guys!

If it was me, I’d wait. I think hold off for 2 months, have a wonderful honeymoon. Relax, drink lots of cocktails, have lots of sex 🤣 (you could catch on honeymoon!) and basically have a bloody good time!! You only get one honeymoon after all! You don’t want to be worrying about jucuzzis or nice food or having a glass of bubbles.

Personally I’d worry I was early preggo on honeymoon, especially if there’s long flights?

These are just my thoughts anyway! Congratulations both!

Hi all, newbie here and really glad I found this thread! Wishing everyone so much love and luck on their journeys 💕

I'm not sure if this has been discussed in previous threads, me and husband have been TTC for 7 months now with no luck. Has anyone any experience conceiving whilst their partner has been on SSRI antidepressants whilst TTC? He has said he will chat to the GP about this, however his MH is so important to me and I don't want him coming off his medication if he doesn't feel ready, and I would NEVER ask him to.

Just wondering if this is something anyone else has experienced!

13 DPO and I feel like AF is on her way. Last tested first thing yesterday and BFN, will test again before bed, but feeling defeated already 😔
At least I’ll be able to drink at Christmas.

Tested early. Was so happy cos I had a faint line, thought I had a positive. Had never even heard of evap lines and it’s one of them, feel so stupid I’ve had my hopes up all day. Thought it was weird cos I’m having really bad cramps like AF is coming. I feel like such an idiot for getting excited 😢 I’m really tired of TTC now and the stress, it’s not doing my mental health any good and I might just have to stop tracking and what will be will be. I feel utterly miserable now.
This is exactly how I’m feeling! I’ve had cramps all day today too and it’s made me feel so low. All my friends have gotten pregnant on the first try and it just seems so unfair to keep going through the heartache every month.

Literally heartbroken, 12DPO and (what I think?) AF has arrived early, literally no signs of spotting, nothing, just arrived out of the blue tonight really heavy. Really thought this was our month 😢.
But what’s concerning me is that I didn’t have any spotting at all before AF, I always have spotting for 2-3 days before. Has anyone else ever had this? Could this be something worse than what I’m assuming is my period?

Would this be impossible for anyone else?
My partner works shifts and we’re both often exhausted with work and there are times were we don’t see each other awake!🤦🏼‍♀️ I worry that we don’t have enough sex, and I’m jealous of people who work ‘normal’ jobs and can just do this without thinking.
Husband works shift work too & a few times he just wasn’t able , totally knackered then he feels like he’s letting me down etc and sure the pressure doesn’t help. So don’t worry you’re not on your own!

So sorry to hear this news :( I went through the same last month. My midwife said I didn’t have to wait a cycle even tho drs advise you to! If you were to become pregnant before your next cycle it can be a little trickier working out your due date so you’d get referred for an early scan to determine a due date. Big hugs to you xx
Thank you. I’d probably be going for an early reassurance scan next time anyway. I don’t think we will actively try before the next cycle but we might not prevent. People on Tattle are always so lovely and supportive, I really appreciate it x

BFN at 11dpo for me this morning so I think I’m out :(. Just waiting for AF to arrive now and then onto cycle 3. Might use some preseed next time as that worked for us last time.
I know it might not help but I’ve known people to get a BFN up until around 14DPO before! You never know until AF arrives. Sending hugs ❤

You had a positive? Does that mean it was a chemical? Im not sure what a chemical pregnancy is. Im sorry that happened that's heart breaking.
Chemical pregnancy is essentially just a very early miscarriage. I’m not too sure why there is a different word for it, as I feel like it can be just as devastating no matter how long you’ve known but it tends to be used before you hit six weeks. Many wouldn’t know they were pregnant yet were they not testing. They are super common sadly.

I’ve had 2, one where I had strong positives from 9dpo -16 dpo that then got gradually lighter until I miscarried at 5 weeks then one where I had a faint positive at 11dpo and then my period came as usual 2 days later.

Hope you are feeling okay @Platform9.75 ❤

I've been completely in denial this month.
I was so so so so sure this was the cycle we would conceive... and then this morning AF arrived.

I know I have no right to complain but f*ck I'm sad today and right now I have no hope for future cycles. There must be some magic thing nobody told us about, right? I mean, how do people conceive right away? I just don't get it.

Sorry for the self pity rant, I just needed a place to feel sorry for myself.
Firstly, I’m sorry it wasn’t your month. We’ve all had months where it felt right or different or your instinct was overwhelmingly positive. We’re told to go with those feelings and trust our gut, and of course when our period arrives it’s even more crushing.

Secondly, you have every right to complain! This is a hard process and it feels very unfair a lot of the time.
