What with Christmas and stuff I never got around to ordering any ovulation tests, so we're going in blind this month...so to speak 😂

Anyway, I've had a period and I'm pretty sure I'll be ovulating this week. Fingers crossed all these rumours I've heard about being more fertile after a miscarriage turn out to be true 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Good luck for your first month! I would just say try to relax, enjoy it and keep yourself as busy as possible for the two week wait.

Is anyone else in the TWW? I’m 4dpo and I forgot how much this drags.
Yup, 2DPO (had 5 minutes of cramps and change in CM). I've had two previous pregnancies - one a miscarriage and the other my daughter. Completely forgot (pushed to the back of my mind) how tough this TWW is. I'm going to do everything I can to only test once AF is a day or two late, simply because I don't have the funds for all the tests I'd love to pee on 🥴

Looking out for dry stinging eyes and mouth ulcers at around 8DPO as these are weird symptoms I've had with both pregnancies

Hi All !
Have been a tattle lurker for forever but really wanted to join to be a part of this thread for support during my TTC journey as it’s still all very new to me. Been with my partner for 11 years and we agreed we wanted to try for a baby after my 30th bday. Had my copper coil out in October and we amazingly fell pregnant immediately , but heartbreakingly I miscarried. I wanted to try again ASAP. I miscarried on 9th Dec and I know it can take a while for your cycle to settle again but , If my cycle is a regular length for me this month AF is due Wednesday, although I know AF may not arrive until later due to the MC. I’m currently experiencing all the early pregnancy symptoms I did previously, although I feel like it’s my body playing tricks on me. If AF hasn’t arrived by Wednesday, should I test then? Sorry if all that doesn’t make much sense 😂😅

Thank you! It's hard to be excited until I've got it confirmed by a frer haha but this is the most convinced I've felt so far! Absolutely no symptoms though🤷‍♀️
I’m 5weeks and I’ve zero symptoms yet. Lines getting darker. Congrats it looks positive to me!

I had Covid in august, also double jabbed. My usual 28-30 day cycle was 43 days 🙉
Aunt Flo arrived with FORCE last night after I wrote all that. I’m blaming being Covid pos for not catching on. Even though we did it most fertile days! Ahhh well. It’s our 6 year anniversary end of this month for peak ovulation. Hoping a weekend away in Manc will do the trick this month 🤓 hotel sex is the one I believe xxx

Sorry to hear that - hopefully next month will be your month, the wait is so hard 😞

Men are bloody difficult!!
Thank you ❤
By the way, on your earlier question. Big age gaps are good! There is very big age gaps between me and my siblings (like almost 2 decades between me and my youngest brother!) and I love our family dynamic! I know it’s not for everyone but there’s nothing in the rule book that says you have to have small age gaps 🤗

Is anybody else terrified that it will just never happen? We've never got a positive but somehow I feel like if I knew I would concieve (even if it was years away), I'd be more relaxed and it would feel less pointless. All I've ever wanted is to be a Mum and after 9/10months of ttc, it's starting to feel like it'll never happen. Also feeling fed up of putting everything on hold 'just in case' like not drinking, just to get BFN month after month.

Hope I've explained my point well enough, just feeling angry at the world today😂
🙋🏼‍♀️ Me

I try to be positive but I just can’t imagine ever seeing a positive pregnancy test ☹

I’ve just taken a FRER and couldn’t be more negative 🙁 I knew it would be. Just wanted confirmation before I had some wine tonight.

Pointless!
Don’t give up hope - it may still be too early!

Attached photos of my 2 tests, the first negative on September 10th. I was convinced I was out, went for a night out on September 11th then my BFP on September 13th 💕💕

Have you tested? Sorry if you said so earlier up the thread, I’ve not been around in a while.

Unsure if it’s my second vaccine or my MC but I’m on CD 32 and think I haven’t even ovulated yet going by my temp 😩
I tested on Thursday and Friday but not since. Ran out of tests but if I don’t come on by tomorrow I will get a test on the way home from work. I just hate looking at that one line 😞

Currently on cycle 11 CD9, TTC #2. Short luteal phase most cycles, never get past day 10. Started proceive max this month too. The flipping price of it, between it, reflexology, clearblue OPK & the upcoming Gynae apts and nothing working it can feel so pointless. Was supposed to start the SMEP plan this month but I physically and more so mentally can’t face DTD that much. Anyone else feel like that or is it just me? 🙈
Sorry I’m a Debbie downer today. My friend visited me with her baby this weekend & another good friend had her baby last week. Happy for them but it hurts. Some days are hard. ❤

*Trigger warning positive test*

Morning everyone, just taken a cheapy on 3rd morning urine but terrified of reading it wrong. I’ve only ever had negatives and with it being quite light it’s throwing me off- can someone offer their opinion?

As soon as asda opens I will go and get a clear blue View attachment 813846
Positive to me , congrats ❤

My AF arrived today 2 days early again, another 9 day luteal phase sadly. I’ve apt with Gynae early November. Feel v deflated today.

Of course AF just made her appearance, ugh I'd convinced myself this was it. Oh well, fingers crossed for next month!😭
I had this the other week. 4 days late and some strange flutters in my tummy. I genuinely thought this was it, especially after a mc earlier this year. Sadly, AF made a late appearance on the 5th day. I was devastated.
Sending you love xxx

I am feeling really torn today. I stopped tracking this month because my ovulation tests were just getting dark then light every couple of days with no actual ovulation and it’s exhausting. I’m guessing as it’s my first cycle after my loss that’s to be expected.

Now I just feel guilty for not trying this month, like well I clearly can’t want it that badly if I can’t be bothered to keep tracking. I’m CD 28 now and I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet but I really have no idea.

Did any of you stop tracking and then feel bad about it? It’s like I know I should just let myself relax but I feel so guilty for doing so.

Sorry for the ramble, just such an emotional rollercoaster.
I know it’s so easy to say and I definitely don’t take my own advice enough to say this but try not to be so hard on yourself. You are more than just your TTC journey and it was absolutely the right thing to do if you thought it may reduce your stress for a month. There’s no right or wrong in any of this and it’s just trial and error to find out what makes you feel better. I tried a month not tracking and just felt so out of control that it made my stress worse so now I track every month but it’s certainly still stressful!

I swear my body is taunting me. I used to be so regular and now it can be anywhere between 1 and 3 days late. I always come on at whatever random time through then that I go to do a test. Last time I picked one up from the shelf in the supermarket then literally felt myself about to come on before I’d even paid and was finishing the big shop. Put it back down and got a bottle of wine instead 😂😭 Have to laugh or I’ll start crying
Nooo 😭😂 I swear they just know the absolutely worst most inconvenient time to show up don’t they. Hope you enjoyed your bottle of wine!

Last cycle I decided to test first thing in the morning day my period was due. No period yet. Then literally as the test is developing she decides to show. Such a waste of a frer.

Big hugs to everyone who’s out this time around. We all know how shit it is ❤

Yes, it continues luckily as my employers stay the same. I work in a few gp practices but am employed by a social services organisation, I’ll be moving to a different gp practice to start up this new role so my employers don’t change. My main worry is that they will be annoyed that they would have replaced me in my current practice with a new person and then would need to find mat cover for me a few months later, when I could have just turned down the offer (although they would have to find mat cover regardless..) Maybe I’m over-worrying this and being a suck up to my company? 😂 should I worry less about this? 😂
You are deffo over thinking it 😊 you honestly never know where this journey will take you! So I would just keep trying once you’re confident it won’t impact your maternity benefits. We can be workaholics sometimes - it’s ok to prioritise yourself every once in a while 😊❤
