Why do we think some areas are more prone to time slips than others? Or is it just we’ve heard more about Bond Street so it feels like it’s happened most often there?

I have no idea where I heard this or who from, but someone once told me that some people who lived near an old WW2 airbase would often hear the planes flying in and out of the base, years later. Like actually hearing the sounds and feeling the vibrations. I'll have to see of i can find anything online. Fascinating stuff.

We've discussed Bold Street before and I totally agree with you. It used to be very eerie IMO especially the further up you got. It always seemed at odds with the rest of town. I've just been reading it is a rope walk. Rope for ships was manufactured there. The length of a rope for the ships is the length of the street (or it was) when it was laid out.

I'm going back a few years. Haven't been in Bold Street for many years and I believe it's all restaurants and bars now. I can't imagine how many ghosts and spirits are in that area and the docks.

It is believed to be built on ley lines and has a underground railway beneath it

There a couple of WW2 planes that are supposedly haunted. There is a Lancaster at RAF Hendon on display that is apparently haunted by a gunner sitting in the turret and a Lincoln at RAF Cosford that an airman is believed to haunt.

Does anyone else have objects lift up and drop down again in the house? Sometimes I’ll hear something but not see it and I’ll know it was, for example, a cup with a spoon in, or shoes on the floor, etc., and that it was picked up and dropped maybe an inch, just from the sound. It’s been happening for years on and off but it’s picked up again in the last couple of weeks.

Yes, a Lincoln bomber.

I suspect a lot of the old airfields used during WW2 have a lot of residual energy and spirits. Lost airmen unable to rest.

I'm not far from RAF Scampton & can confirm it's really eerie. Even driving by I avoid looking at it because it makes me feel weird.

Did you see the ones that unexplainably turned up on her phone. It's like a person but with coarse hair and glowing Eyes. Seems set up but they wouldn't get much out of lying

Those podcasts are super creepy! I listened to Danny Robins’s audiobook which has new cases in and it’s brill highly recommend!

Haunted UK is a brill podcast some of the episodes really get under your skin!

Has anyone been reading about The Curse of Pompeii? There's been a couple of articles in the Daily Mail the last couple of days of people returning stolen artefacts from the site after bad luck has befallen them after their visit. Apparently they have a section of returned artefacts and letters at the site. It's a good way to stop people stealing bits.

I was tidying after Christmas and took an arm full of things upstairs to restore to their rightful place, one being a can of hairspray. I just sort of left them piled at the top of the stairs and busied myself in another room. A few minutes later I heard the hairspray fall, I heard the metallic dink as it hit every step and heard it clatter on the laminate in the hall but when I came out of the bedroom the can was just stood in the middle of the top step .

Fully respect my tidying entity and wish they'd do more.
