Well I hope whoever is spending their time going through comments and blocking & deleting folks ask her why comments have been left? Nobody can put out stuff to the masses on social media and expect sweetness & light fluffy opinions. So now Tiffany says she’s going to have someone go through all of the comments and delete “the mean/horrible ones”.
There are no mean or hateful comments. Just comments calling her out on her bullshit. But she prefers to see herself as a victim of 'haters' than take a good look at herself and at what she is doing. She is not an innocent little girl. She is a scheming manipulator. She is a 15 year old brat in a body of a 30 year old grown up.So now Tiffany says she’s going to have someone go through all of the comments and delete “the mean/horrible ones”.
Wonderful news. Long may it continueHi!
To be honest, it didn't bother me appearing in her video simply because it was the back of me walking in the opposite direction as we passed in the carpark. If I had been recognisable it would have been different as I have not shared my diagnosis with many people and I would be livid if people I knew watched her video.
It wouldn't surprise me if some of the staff at the hospital see her videos. The fact that I saw the shirts and was intrigued enough to look on YouTube, I'm sure others have too.
Plus, the nurses on the day unit who administer chemo are lovely and chatty and I'm sure they would have asked her about the t shirts and looked her up.
In my experience and many others who have had treatment at the Marsden, because I am at the hospital regularly and seeing the same people, the relationship with many of the staff becomes quite close. You are going through an incredibly traumatic time and having hard conversations with these people, you do form a bond. That is why I find it all so hard to understand why Tiffany seems to be so distant from her team and so uninformed.
Thanks, my treatment is ongoing but so far so good; thanks to the amazing people at the Royal Marsden!
Many social media influencers do this, its called a hugbox. Its her channel she can do as she likes. We will keep posting here, bc her blocking doesn't stop the conversation.Well I hope whoever is spending their time going through comments and blocking & deleting folks ask her why comments have been left? What! Of course it does. Anyone outside the UK please ask questions but don’t jump to conclusions based on rubbish. The NHS is stretched but still offers an amazing service. We pay through our National insurance but it’s there even for those that dont. I for one am grateful to live in a country with a service like this. It has saved my life twice. So those of you in the UK...what kind of world renowned system is this -- the RM does not operate with EMR?!?! That explains A LOT! Certainly not everything by any means, but it does clarify some things, for me anyway.
So agree. And places like the Marsden are wonderful. What! Of course it does. Anyone outside the UK please ask questions but don’t jump to conclusions based on rubbish. The NHS is stretched but still offers an amazing service. We pay through our National insurance but it’s there even for those that dont. My husband as been under medical oncology for 4 years. NHS.MRI results are available immediately but they need to be looked over by a radiologist and a report written before they can be considered "done". So the delays for results is due to human staffing and urgency. In most private care settings, you can get your results hours after the MRI is done if your oncologist arranges for the radiologist to interpret the results asap. In typical hospitals they say 1-2 weeks which is entirely dependent on how long the radiologist's backlog is.
What I don't understand is that IF her surgeon genuinely cared about her so much and was also concerned about the mess of a treatment protocol (full anesthesia plus days of recovery on unlimited morphine for absolute nothing? How much is that bed costing the NHS? Why is he telling her not to go private?) then he can easily fast track her case. He just needs to call up the radiologist who he is 100% friends with to take a look at her file. There is a strict hierarchy at hospitals and a surgeon of his status is basically like a god or celebrity. He can get any department to produce anything he wants, but for some reason he's choosing not to.
Well said !!!What! Of course it does. Anyone outside the UK please ask questions but don’t jump to conclusions based on rubbish. The NHS is stretched but still offers an amazing service. If any of my family was in the hospital, taking up a hospital bed, attached to a morphine pump and vomiting. I arrive and they switch on a camera to blog and show my T.Shirt? I'd be having a quiet word with them.Whoever said that she made her mum go out and stand so she could plug in her merch - you are so right. I had to slow it down but her mum is just standing there and then Tiffany talks and waves her in as a cue. Usually, when her mum comes she has a bag with her. I feel sorry that her mum is roped into this mess.
Haha. My husbands tumours require Oramorphe from time to time. Oramorphe causes the dry mouth and white spit yep. Husband is aware of it himself so deals with it. If he was recording and uploading videos I would be telling him to wash his face firstoh gawd it bothered me too! ,Maybe dry mouth.
Yes we know. Lots of complications and infections. Probably lots of hospital visits in the first year post surgery. Still could be preferrable if it extends her life.I do think she is afraid of the PE surgery, and prefers to block out.
As far as full or posterior PE, she said the surgery would be 12 hours long... So this very likely includes some reconstruction work. Like an Indiana pouch for internal.urine collection? Or other things mentioned.
67% of PE patients in one study (at Mayo) had some type of complication. It's a long recovery. She really can't be all weak and floppy about this.
Hello Laufitz. I'm new but was a lurker for a while. Mainly because I am too lazy to sign up to stuffHi everyoneI have been a TT follower just prior to her diagnosis. Like many people here I am beyond frustrated with the constant confusion and lack of clear updates that she gives. I was delighted to find the comment on her last video informing me that she has a tattle thread as it made me realise I'm not alone.
Personally I think Matt has put his foot down about being recorded so much ever since the backlash of people calling him out for encouraging her not to have surgery. There has been a noticeable absence of him on the vlogs since then compared to before. Can't say I blame him as he has always been so uncomfortable on camera.
Obviously I feel so sad for Tiffany and her family facing what I believe to now be a terminal diagnosis. I just wish that she would remember that people around the world are fully invested in her and playing around with people's mental health whether intentional or not is not okay.
Haha, I am healthy and I needed pain relief for my procedure. I lay on the bed, bottom exposed. Staff asked me if I wanted to see the procedure on the TV. Errr no thanks! Yuck.On her paper was written that the cancer is in lower rectum a few cm from anal verge. It means doctor didn't have to further than 15 cm from anus. There is no need explore further parts of colon because might happen seeding the cancer to other part of colon. Yes, healthy people don't need general anesthesia. They gave it her probably because she has cancer and pain.
Just leaving this here for all those outside the UK who seem to think that The RM is some back street clinicBased of Tiffany’s vlogs.
It's this one...starting from the 11:07 markHi everyone, does anyone recall which video it was where the doctor said she had 6-9 months (not certain of length of time) without treatment?
Ah thank you very much!!It's this one...starting from the 11:07 mark
