I remember this. Sadly, Tiffany posted on her Instagram at the time that she had started watching the show but had to stop because it was so intense and it was making her emotional. She said that she would restart it after she was 'cancer free' because seeing all the surgeries and hearing the prognosis of the diseases was making her scared. I remember I DM'd Tiffany about it on IG because I had missed the name of the program when she mentioned it in her stories and she told me it was called 'Super Surgeons.' She literally freaks out and disassociates from anything that reminds her that she has cancer and gives facts about what to expect. She'd rather be blissfully ignorant.TT is well informed. She did a quick Instagram story months ago about watching a documentary on BBC or Channel 4 (sorry I’m in the U.S.) about surgeons at the Royal Marsden AND the surgery that was recommended to her.
Since it was a story, it disappeared.
Ahhhh its sad really. I didn't know that Tiffany and her family was aware of the specifics of the surgery long before the meeting.
I actually think no evidence of disease is a term that needs changing to no evidence of visual disease. There generally is always microscopic disease lurking around that is too small for the scanners to pick up. It's great that her oncologist is doing 6 weekly scans.

yes this is something we've known for awhile. She has spoken about the team already in videos.And here we have it ladies & gents. Right from the horses mouth.
Tiffany finally writes that she is looked after by a team. Her oncologist, Cancer nurse specialist and her surgeon attend the MDT meetings and collectively the multi disciplinary team make plans together.
The next time Tiffany posts a video to say she is confused, someone needs to remind her that she has direct access to her cancer nurse specialist.

IF tiffany wasCachexia doesnt show up all of a sudden. Ive seen older videos of hers. She!s definitely thinner now. She has trouble keeping food down, is in constant pain and on morphine. She may not be end stage but shes approaching it I think. Ive seen it with my mom. The decline was at first gradual, then swift. Same type of cancer.

I've been following Ts story since the summer after I saw her and her mum filming at the Marsden when I was there for an appointment myself. I clocked the t shirts and guessed it was for a YouTube video so did some searching when I got home.
The video she was recording was published on her channel exactly a week after I saw her filming (I know that as I spotted myself in her video!)
What has angered me in recent months is the insinuating of bad practice against the hospital. I have had incredible care from every single person during my treatment, at both the Sutton and Chelsea sites. I have never left an appointment confused or without full knowledge of my current situation and I can't understand how Ts treatment 'seems' to be so very different.
The Marsdens success rate in treatment is significantly above that of other cancer centres in the country and it makes me mad that she is giving the impression to thousands online that they are incompetent at best and downright negligible at worst.
By the way, expect a moan at her next Sutton Marsden visit as when I went there today they have finally introduced the parking charges that they were going to implement back in August but didn't.
I dont begrudge the charges, they are not excessive and a small price to pay for first class care, plus there are 2 buses that go into the hospital grounds and a train station not far so other options available, In fact I got the bus to my chemo appointments each week!
Wow. I didn’t see this yesterday. These are wonderful resources for patients.Not only does she have access to her CNS but she has had 24hr access to the Royal Marsden Macmillan hotline since her diagnosis. Patients are encouraged to call whenever they feel ill or have questions or concerns. All the nurses who man the phone line have access to all the medical notes and are in contact with doctors. They also pass the call details onto your team who will then follow up with you if required.
Not once have I seen that Tiffany has made use if this service, instead she chooses to report to the world that she has many unanswered questions.
I’m wondering if Matt has just said no to filming. He likely knows the full picture, notice she blogs late at night. May have had visited during regular hours.Agree....she knows full well that YT provides an automatic income for her.

I think she is waiting until she can go see her surgeon on Friday to get the results from him instead of calling and getting them sooner. I may be wrong but there is no way it takes 2 weeks for scan results. With the unhealthy obsession she has with him, I feel like that is the reason for the wait. Tiffany will have been visited in the recovery room before being taken to the ward. There someone will have told her what happened in theatre. Tiffany did say that she felt groggy and couldn't remember much. Thats fair enough, most patients don't remember much in the recovery area.
Morphine pump was arranged due to the pain Tiffany had after her last biopsy. Emergency hospital vists are costly to the NHS and if they can be avoided, plans will be put in place. Admitting her this time and offering a morphine pump prevents post A&E visits.
Oramorphe on discharge is absolutely normal after having been on Morphine pump. I personally could not understand them giving her antisickness during the night though, most doctors would discontinue the morphine pump because thats what causes nausea & sickness.
Before discharging a patient a plan needs to be put in place. Tiffany will have been visited by a consultant and he/she will have explained the planned procedure and what happened. Tiffany will have also been told what happens next and told who to contact, if she has any issues. You are right, they can't and don't just discharge patients without informing them. I saw posts 10 hours from Tiffany saying she is crying, scared and needs to get a biopsy.
It's cruel that she leads people on who truely care about her. They are there thinking Tiffany is a young vulnerable little girl who is on palliative care and the truth is being hidden from her. Telling her she might have a blockage and the cancer might have spread so much its caused a blockage? If Tiffany had a bowel blockage, she wouldn't have been discharged home! My friend had a blockage which burst, causing sepsis. One operation later and she was out of hospital fitted with a stoma bag.

So the delays for results is due to human staffing and urgency. In most private care settings, you can get your results hours after the MRI is done if your oncologist arranges for the radiologist to interpret the results asap.
