There was once a posting that the tumour has grown through the uterus wall and there were (according to T.) clawlike growths into surrounding organs. How much this interfere with her sexual organs I do not know, but it doesn’t sound good.Since she has rectal cancer she would have probably posterior exenteration. In this case her bladder and vulva including clitoris remain intact.
Exactly. And shes allowing her subs to diss her medical team. Ive lost all sympathy for her. Its truly disgusting. You are taking everything she is saying as gospel. Stop it. She’s talking absolute GARBAGE.
Hi, in your opinion do you think her surgeon is withholding bad news from her? It seems the other Doctors have given her news she dislikes, even the Dr that spoke to her post/biopsy made her cry a lot (we don’t know what was said) so she has latched onto this Surgeon and formed a strange bond with him, could this be the case her Surgeon is not 100% transparent with her?
Also if you don’t mind me asking, how did you find her channel and this thread? Thanks, good to have a Doctor here.
Why is it interesting? This comment is interesting.View attachment 1694743
Creating a pouch from inside so no need for a stomaWhy is it interesting?
It has been already 1 year since she started chemotherapy. Most people would be done with their treatment in a year. I agree it is a prestigious institute. But individual doctors do mistakes all the time, of course not intentionally. You are taking everything she is saying as gospel. Stop it. She’s talking absolute GARBAGE.
You are talking absolute rubbish. It has been already 1 year since she started chemotherapy. Most people would be done with their treatment in a year. I agree it is a prestigious institute. But individual doctors do mistakes all the time, of course not intentionally.
Yes but the tumour was not located at the same place so not the same situation and a different management .Creating a pouch from inside so no need for a stoma
Hi. I don't think he is withholding information from her. I am just confused why he suggested her to wait. In my opinion it would have been better for her to have surgery instead of waiting and risking cancer to spread. The surgeon told her it himself.Hi, in your opinion do you think her surgeon is withholding bad news from her? I followed emily too, still watch her videos sometimes. She was such a genuine person. Watching her videos made me want to be better. The early videos of tiffany made me feel like maybe her channel will be like emily's...but oh no.
She loves attention. That's it. Even this board probably feeds her need for attention. I worry she is learning from her journey, the more her cancer journey is severe/sad/unclear, the more attention she gets. She will feed into that and continue making videos that many of us find infuriating. I dont want to feel badly about her "success" on youtube because its makes me feel like a shit person. So the best thing is stop following and wish her the best. I do hope she gets better but watching her makes me into a not so nice person. No more!

A lot of rubbish to plough through, but at the end there is the gem. Truth telling as a norm in cancer management from the medical prespective.good god - HOW MANY TIMES - surgeons/doctors/oncologists DO NOT WITHHOLD INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!’
her surgeon is exactly that; he’s a SURGEON. Her main point of contact is her oncologist and their team.
And that was a long time after they actually broke up, too.agree about her want/need for attention. I watched an old video of hers yesterday. From 3 years ago titled "we broke up". It was ridiculous. She strung it out, was being all fake coy and truly spoke as if she was an A list celebrity breaking the news to her fans. I was interested to see her character pre cancer as it makes you realise much of what we see now is her character not all explained by the trauma/denial/brain fog etc
I had the feeling that she was given the boot and that was the reason of her silence about things. And that was a long time after they actually broke up, too.
I did give her credit for not using her channel to garner support and complain about him. She was very circumspect and scant with any personal details about it. I respected her discretion. It could have been ugly if they had had an online spat over what had gone down.
That is true, she believes that her cancer is gone, even was talking about returning to work. Let's pray it is true.We only know what Tiffany wants us to know. I highly doubt her medical team is inept and that things played out exactly as she describes. She, Amma, and Matt are clearly naive, afraid to hear the truth, and don't ask the necessary questions. My god, she and Amma just speculated that the reason they couldnt perform the biopsy is that the tumor is gone!!! They are living in la la land. How can 1 patient leave EVERY medical appt for the last year so confused? Its simply not possible! Tiffany is either refusing to listen, believing only what she wants to believe or else deliberately misleading her subs to increase viewership and profits. Probably a combination of all three.
Something has just crossed my mind. Is it possible that her family have been told she’s terminal and they have requested to keep the information from her? That would explain the constant ambiguity from the specialist. The avoidance of her surgeon and the way Mat and Ama just smile and agree with all her wishes? Her surgeon advised her not to go private. He’s hardly involved any more. Her bleeding, nausea and frailty sadly are serious. I’m surprised she’s not on fluids. Generally from what I know there comes a point when fluids aren’t given and it’s just pain relief and anti sickness meds. There’s also no mention of the Mc Milan nurse that is always assigned to a cancer patient here in the UK to help support not only the patient but the family too. This is all extremely sad. That is true, she believes that her cancer is gone, even was talking about returning to work. Let's pray it is true.
T May very well end up in an anti-defamation lawsuit it suits! The name of the surgeon is known. We all know it. People even posted his name on here. He is an expert exactly on Tiffany's kind of cancer. Yes, he is either of Indian or Pakistani descent.
The radiotherapy was still part of the attempt to shrink the tumour. The chemo did not shrink it so they gave her radiation. That did not help either and so they were hesitant to operate. The next chemo was given as a preventative measure to stop spread whilst assembling a 'team' for the big surgery.I think the first round of Chemo didn't shrink the tumour, so they put her on Chemo and Radio a second time but as a preventative measure to stop spread, rather than reduce.
Not to say that isn't possible, I don't know that and the article seems to suggest otherwise - but I still think it'd be surprising.
and …For anyone who isn’t aware - THIS is where Tiffany is being treated. It is one of the WORLDS most prestigious cancer centres with staff who are EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELD. Can we please stop this ridiculous nonsense that she’s receiving sub-standard care or that her surgeon or oncologist is at fault/is inept/doesn’t know what they are doing.
She is lucky that she is under the care of the Marsden, it’s a first class facility and it is world renowned.
The surgeon told her it would be better for her mental health to have the surgery. He knew she was already fragile and the pressure of the wait and watch would add an extra stress. Not that having the surgery would not be difficult on her psyche ...People aren't believing her because she doesn't give an accurate account of her situation and she drip feeds minimal information. Tiffany didn't even mention 'wait and watch' as an official term until people were saying this in her comments. She said her surgeon said it might be better for her mental health if she waits, that was the reasoning she said her surgeon gave. My thoughts are she was incredibly undereducated on what the surgery entailed and when the surgeon was fully explaining it to her she had a breakdown and said she didn't want to have it. Why would waiting to see if the cancer becomes inoperable (which she said the surgeon told her it could become) be better for her mental health unless she had a strong aversion to habing the surgery.
