I cannot even imagine what kind of book Tiffany is writing. I don't know what she has to offer others: how to be blindly ignorant to reality and choose to play in sandboxes instead?
Is she writing a book?

If this were to be the case then Matt's comment that six week's won't make a big difference makes sense.

But what is confusing is that both Matt and Tiffany seemed hopeful and relieved after that last surgeon meeting. Matt said that the best would be if she did not need surgery at all. Like he believed it was a possibility. And then she said 'It's good news, it's good news. I would be worried if there were cancer cells but if it's scar tissue then I'm not worried.'

Many reasons for her daftness in comprehending her predicament. However, she's not too daft to understand the sales of her merch, and growth of her YT channel. Such inconsistencies in decision making with regard to various areas of her life make me doubt that she is that significantly impaired by her cancer in mental capacity to make decisions. That said, she is dealing with some sort of mental health crisis, depression may be one of them.

Yes, a few videos ago (since I haven't watched the last couple), she made that announcement. No mention of content or type. I'm concerned she may claim competency in navigating a cancer diagnosis in it.

That's exactly what confuses me! I don't understand her status at all. She still must have a mass that requires removal whether or not it's still malignant. What are they waiting 6 weeks FOR???

Tiffany writing a guide book.

Exactly. She said the surgeon was shocked at this development himself. No idea what the wait will achieve. We don't know whether the surgeon sees this as a good thing, or whether he just wants to avoid the big surgery eventhough he claimed (a couple of months ago) that if he does not operate, her cancer will spread. We know nothing.
And the surgeon said that it can spread in the 6 weeks (if he made a mistake and there are some cancer cells left) and so the decision is on her - to operate or not to operate. I'm not sure but the fact that he offered to do the big surgery straight away could mean that she will probably need it eventually anyway. But at the same time he is probably curious about the tumour turning into scar tissue and he wants to see how that develops.
And Matt saying 'surely it will not spread in 6 weeks' - It's not just Tiffany being optimistic.

Which publisher will take on such risk? I'm afraid to answer I can see actual confusion, and predicted confusion.

I feel a lot of Tiffany's behaviour is not the norm. She keeps surprising and shocking everyone. Like she is from another planet.
Could it be the blue one, the Tiffany we got this planet

That's entirely possible and the best explanation I've read yet why a " watch & wait" might be appropriate, to see if such a major surgery is really in her best interests (given how arduous and challenging recovery will be as well as the surgery risks themselves), or if surgery will be unlikely to improve her prognosis (if the "wait" shows significant metastases elsewhere or tumour growth). Perhaps his concern is recovery could interfere with any treatment/surgery for any cancer elsewhere.

Maybe his news was good in that treatment has affected the original mass based on scans and biopsies. But maybe notwithstanding that, he remains guarded that a pelvic exenteration is worth the surgical risks/recovery and impact if the cancer has already advanced beyond the pelvic region. Perhaps his wait is to see if any microscopic advancement is actually occurring elsewhere in her body that has not yet been picked up. In 6 weeks, it's more likely to be viewable. But, it also leaves the risk of being inoperable too if they find significant growth.

In that light, his comments, and the oncologist's agreement, begin to make some sense.

She even stole the blue heart and is pretending it's hers. She made the blue heart and the silly 'We got this' part of her brand. She does not see it as cheezy or cringy or stupid. She is a walking cliche.

Oh no, she cannot trademark them.

I hope she checked first to see whether or not the "We Got This" slogan was already trademarked. I know lots of people make a business out of trademarking common phrases. If Tiffany is making money off of it, I think she would owe the trademark holder the profits made from it if it is.

"or if surgery will be unlikely to improve her prognosis (if the "wait" shows significant metastases elsewhere or tumour growth). Perhaps his concern is recovery could interfere with any treatment/surgery for any cancer elsewhere." - Maybe he is backtracking and now thinks 'why put her through the invasive surgery if it's likely to metastisise anyway'. Some people on this thread think that she is already stage 4 and terminal.

Yes, imagine having to go through the gruelling recovery from this surgery + have new tumours which need treatment!

This is what goes through my mind:
The tumour is T4b and substantial as the surgeon had said. The other doctor said she might not have surgery at all because of how large it was and how it invaded all those organs. No other doctor would even attempt to operate (as Tiffany told us) except this one surgeon. So he promised it to her and said he will treat her like a sister and if he does no operate, it will spread and she will then not make it. He told her he will congregate a team of specialists (including gyneacologists and such as she would need to have her lower part of the body 'redone' due to the operation). He had her have 'maintenance' chemo in the meantime. They told her this chemo will not shrink the tumour but it will prevent spreading. She received a letter in which it was stated the surgery would last around 12 hours (just like with Nat Woodward). The letter also listed all of the doctors who would be present at the surgery. There were many.

It sounds from listening to her video that the oncologist (it was not her regular oncologist or a team) told her to ask her surgeon about the mucus and bleeding.
I don't think she recieved bad news or super good news yesterday, probably just the same she was told by the surgeon, his nurse and again on the phone with her oncologist a couple weeks ago. That the tests and scans came back as not showing cancer but there is still a possibility it wasn't picked up and they will monitor her.
Yes I dont think they have been softly telling her she's terminal. I believe from the surgeon (Matt confirmed) to the nurse who works with the surgeon to her oncologist on the phone , all have told her the biopsies and scans show no signs of cancer but that doesn't mean it's all gone.
I think this is her status right now.
Maybe she truly can't wrap her head around what happened? Who knows.
I just wish she'd be more clear and confident about what she is saying in her cancer videos or stay offline and figure it out.

Sorry, no. I don’t know what you’re trying to say in regards to her status, but it sounds like you think it’s not terminal just because the scans show nothing. There’s a t4b tumor inside her and it’s barely operable last the surgeon checked so her cancer isn’t getting better. The only hope is that it she can still have surgery if it hasn’t spread. Waiting makes no sense if she’s stage iii. have you had cancer, because your summary, no offense, is just as illogical as Tiffany’s about those results and what they mean.

I forgot that the oncologist was not part of her team! That's odd on it's own but even more so cause in the comments she said something like 'I did not see the surgeon but I saw my oncology team'.
Yes, I don't think she was told anything bad. It will be the same thing as always.
Exactly, she should only release a cancer video when the information has value and it's clear (like other cancer youtubers do). She just needs to make more effort on this and stop posting useless content. If she is confused, why is she making a video about being confused? We don't care about her confusion.

I think we all think that it could be terminal but she probably wasn't told that. It does not seem from their demeanor.

May be it's in another category, so she's safe She must manifest that we really got this...

The surgeon did not scrape deep enough into the grapefruit for the biopsy.

Just cuz you’re told you’re terminal doesn’t mean you hear it right. Tiffany’s head is somewhere else, so I agree with whoever said she could hear terrible news as good news. The fact that she thinks she’s cancer free, improving or has some miracle going on says she’s not hearing them right. Every single time she gets bad news she says it’s good news so you can’t go by her demeanor. Or matt. The denial seems contagious. And her oncologist would definitely be part of her team... they would be the leader of the team. Tiffany is just saying it in a way that makes them sound all disconnected.
