I am just glad you have joined me over here in The light

I’m personally glad they don’t have patreon. I don’t even like using that word, and don’t want to keep putting it in their heads and then they start thinking it’s ok to set it up. As they’ve said a few times, they are “good” financially. They’ve funded 2 concierge suites on their own, they are trying to upgrade their Tesla to a Rivian. No need to be extra greedy.

I think they would love to be greedy. I really think they (especially Jenn) are seething with jealousy over OA and Mammoth Club making bank on Patreon.

I also think she wanted to do a live because OA did a super long one not long before T&J's last week and raked in the Super Chats while telling their viewers they had multiple cruises and trips planned and/or booked. (That is why I guessed she would do a live that night... )

OA just booked Tokyo, also.

Don't come at me , and not to defend Jenn's Polish / Italian background but my DH is Polish and I'm Ukrainian, Croatian, and German and I have a bunch of Italian relatives by cousins' marriages.

I also went to a Catholic grade school and am still technically Catholic (though non-practicing) - and Catholics like to drink, and, given this combination of alcohol-loving ethnicities and / or scenarios (and that of my friends growing up who were similar ethnicities in NE Ohio), it was totally normal for alcohol to be around the kids (and kids taking sips or given the alcohol for ailments like menstrual cramps, sipped at holidays, etc.).

(My family also owned bars when I was growing up and I was always in them and always around alcohol - and I'm not a raging alcoholic).

I'll say that on my 21st birthday, I was a total nerd and was at home studying for a college Physics exam I had the next day. If anything, being around alcohol all my life (and given it as a young age as aforementioned) totally took away ANY "mystique" or "allure" of getting totally trashed on my 21st birthday just because I "could" finally like a ton of my girlfriends did.

P.S. Jenn's mom's mom (maternal grandmother) who lives in Fla now is originally from Akron, OH... same general area as I'm originally from aka NE Ohio.

Ok, I’m just popping into say it’s 32 degrees here today on this small island in North Atlantic. I think that’s about 90 for our US friends. We have humidity!!! And it’s been like this for over a week. I’m way too hot to deal with the Trackers shit hahaha

Remember it wasn't too long ago they added the stickers to their live shows. So that was admitting they want to take more in. Although I think that was stupid because it's not much.

but were you doing vodka shots of gratitude though?

Yes it was a way to see how much they could make without any extra effort other than thanking people and their revenue from it has been small.

Patreon I think they are afraid of not being able to do as well as Ordinary Adventures or even Paging Mr Morrow. Or they are just too lazy to set it up and deliver on promised perks. You can offer perks and not deliver but I assume most would leave fairly quickly if they did that.

My sister in law is a recovering alcoholic and she craves sugar so bad now. Wonder if recovering alcoholics crave sugar once they stop drinking.

I agree I think they would love more money coming in an it's one reason the super chats have been put onto the lives, I think the one thing stopping them from doing a patreon is because they know how bad the stans are an how quick they would turn if nothing they promised was delivered, they are far too lazy to put out anything extra for patreons an I think they know themselves how mental their stans are an how nasty it will get

Nope. It was usually Seagram's 7, Canadian Club, Black Velvet, or Crown Royal. and there was no going around and saying what we were thankful for. They'd normally just drink it. And offer a sort of "cheers" in whatever foreign language was spoken that day by whatever family member, e.g., "Prost!", or "Na Zdorovie" which is actually Russian but the Ukrainian elders in my family would say it, and / or "Na Zdrowie" in Polish.

(And referencing back to @Quasimodo's mention of Polish last names like Bojo. It's funny bc you'd never know my married last name is Polish bc my DH's family shortened it - removing the -"ski" plus even more letters - and completely anglicized it after they came over on the ship to NYC)

I think they think that Patreon is below them. They see themselves in a different group of YTers than reality. Just think back to that Last live.

But the SuperStickers are a clue they will probably give in at some point.

Patreon takes a 40% to 60% cut. That’s why you see some YouTube channels or podcasts creating their own version but they are not that smart.

I question if Jenn is lying about her heritage. I know someone like her. The person I know lies about everything, including her heritage. She originally told everyone she was Russian, then she claimed she was Swedish. To me it’s interesting that Jenn maiden name has origins to France.

I also see her maiden names as French. I know someone with the same last name and their parents are from France.

I think they know that their viewers will not bring in the sweet Patreon cash that Molly, OA or PMM brings. I've seen people in JoJo and Kyle's live streams that give $100+. Most of the Tracker stans give $2 or $5. Their lives typically make $250ish, which is decent money for an hour or two of "work". But, I think Tracker stans aren't the younger demographic with a bunch of disposable income. I don't see those people paying a month fee to access their content early or give them an exclusive live feed. I also think it would be really difficult, even if you are a stan, to commit to paying $5-$10 a month to someone who is "all set" for retirement and has a Rivian on order, if they, themselves are not all set for retirement and are driving around in a 10 year old Toyota.

I agree, I think they’ve probably destroyed any chance of straight up money-collecting with their endless vacations and bragging. I think their SuperSticker hauls are low for the amount of people who watch.

They would have to offer something extra to get a Patreon going and we know they are allergic to work.
