Love this thread. Gardening makes me very happy. Some of my favourite flowers are phlox and black eyed Susan's. They bloom all season. It is nice to go outside and see all the trees with their blossom, even better when you can smell it in the air

It did feel like Spring today!! I found it was quite warm, well at least warmer than usual today. I’ve had some hot cross buns already and have decided what easter egg I want (the toblerone one lol)

Is this controversial but I prefer traditional Easter food to Christmas foods - hot cross buns, pancakes, Easter Biscuits (West Country only), egg themed chocolates and biscuits, etc etc.

Not a whole lot of spring activity with all this rain we've been having. Our garden is waterlogged. I'm so over it.

I’ve got decent hyacinths in my garden for the first time this year! Have the conditions been particular good for them this year? Usually they’re munched by slugs and snails I think, maybe it’s been too cold for them!

Yes! Spring declutter and deep clean
Ive also refilled my urban apothecary reed diffusers for my bedroom; Rose Voile. It's not that old lady rose smell, it's really powdery and gorgeous
I'm waiting for my living area reed diffuser to die so I can get a gorgeous new one

Spent a lovely productive few hours in the garden today. Transplanted plants and shrubs, gave the garden a good tidy up and have all my flowers in pots dotted around the place. Hopefully the bit of sunshine today will give all my solar lights a boost.

I’m going on a snowdrop hunt. Work has a beautiful garden but they weren’t there yesterday. I think it’s still a bit cold. It’s meant to warm up after the storm this weekend so they might start popping through next week. I can definitely feel the lighter nights. Mornings are still a bit shit.

I dry my laundry outside all year round, but it's now started drying in a couple of hours

I've been germinating some seeds for my kitchen garden so far. Onions, garlic and chillies on the go.

Still waiting for good enough weather to start putting washing out on the line, it's been wet up here.

I really do love the days getting longer.

It’s such a nice day today. Finally!!! One nice day in 7 days. It’s been awful this week
But my washing is out already and there isn’t a cloud in the sky
It’s so depressing when it rains all week
Off on a road trip/ long walk with dog and my little boy to make the most of it
