Spring flowers are just the best. And look at that industrious little ladybird. Hopefully he’s dealing with the 🤬 lily beetle larvae for me

I've bought some mini eggs for Easter baking as they are usually hard to find nearer the time. Bought Aldi knock off versions though as the Cadbury ones seem ridiculously expensive this year.

Finally starting to feel a bit of warmth coming through, yay! I’m so glad our hedges are growing back as I cut one back too much last summer and made a big gap 🤐 I have put up all the canes for my sweet peas and runner beans. The sweet peas seeds are just coming up in a wee pot on the window sill, while the beans are a bit ahead of themselves and are already about 30cm high and desperate to be potted out! Should I wait another month or take a risk and put them out? (In the southwest)

My Easter/Spring wreath is already on the door 😂 I was walking the dog around the lake at the weekend and it was so bright and sunny and felt like Spring, it was a beautiful day. The weather affects my mood so much it’s unbelievable lol 🌤
Me too!!! I’m so much happier when I see the sun shining away in a beautiful blue sky. Nothing better to lift the spirits. And I feel like I can smell that gorgeous waft of spring in the air too! X

We just had a hail storm! But I think we only need to get through the next few days of cooler, possibly wet weather before we're back on track. Last week was absolutely glorious! My camelia is in full bloom, it's looking gorgeous, and I was thrilled to see my peony has started to grow, too. I was worried I'd lost it as the foxes have been digging in its pot all winter.

It’s so warm today! Got my washing out, but I’m not letting it fool me as I imagine it will be back to snow in a few weeks 😭

Temperatures are reaching mid 20s next week for many places in the UK 😊🌱

Having said that, and I hate to be that person(!) but we could really do with some decent rain here too. I'm in Yorkshire and I can't remember the last time we've had a decent spell of rain. The ground is already cracking up because it's so dry. I live near moorlands too and there's already been some significant fires up there. We aren't even in summer yet ☹

Spring has arrived today in Bucks! I’ve got two loads of washing on the line, I’m wearing my Birkenstocks, and taking the kids to the park for ice cream! I’m a May baby so Spring is definitely my season!

I honestly dread the summer months. I don’t cope in high temps and my kids don’t sleep!

Me and hubby are avid hot cross bun triers! Our top one is the Tesco salted caramel and chocolate ones too. Although all Tesco finest ones are delicious!
