Honestly at this point I wish they threw Sims 4 out and just started with 5

I don’t have the most hope in Sims 5 from all the speculations about micro transactions and what not, but surely the gameplay can’t possibly be as bland as 4?

A great dad, not mum! (Although not by the Sims 2 standards, as they were so eager to snatch my Sim children away from me at the earliest opportunity). But I am a great dad in my own opinion! (Tbh I don't even like the kids, I want and try for a same sex male twin pregnancy to happen, but my game keeps crashing every time I try it so now I'm stuck with these. Every time one of them runs up to my adult Sim after work for affection I'm just like "ugh"! )

I miss Theme Hospital. I love the "disease" that made them all want to be Elvis impersonators!

Theme Hospital franchise deserved to be way bigger than it was, that was such an excellent game!
The receptionists used to drive me mad by ruining my hospital and not being helpful to the patients but I deserved it because I always got the cheapest and most untalented ones to save money

hen it happened to me I made it part of the story and that the parents were on the run from the social in case they found out.

That really made me laugh and like something I'd incorporate to make it fit!

For the people saying they miss theme hospital I think it's been rebranded as two point hospital, I never played theme hospital but I have two point hospital and two point campus for switch and they are amazing, I've spent so many hours sucked into the wonderful and mysterious illnesses people get the pandemic one was just a bunch of people coming in with saucepans stuck on their head

Usually I'd make my sim an play till they were maxed on a job, married an a kid then before the kid was a teen I'd get bored an leave it then a new pack would come out an I'd go back to making a sim an doing it all over again but this time I decided that I'd continue with the same family an currently on my 5th generation, I just play the first born sim an marry the rest off if they have more than one kid

I get confused as to why they use the bathroom sink to wash dishes. The maid tends to wash dishes in there, even though my Sims have a kitchen sink and a dishwasher.

With Get Famous, I really don’t like the react in disgust as they do it to everyone. My current sim even reacts in disgust to her dog. She went to the Stately home place in Windenburg with her parents and all I could hear throughout was “Sul, Sul! Ugh!” Also the celebrity walk is annoying. I also detest Thorne Bailey (Get Famous premade) as he turns up everywhere my Sims happen to be and makes it all about him.

Apparently they always wash up in the most expensive sink in the house! So if you put a more expensive one in the kitchen they should wash up in there!

i spend all my time giving townies makeovers, there’s not a single townie in my game rn i haven’t messed with with the lack of gameplay i find myself in cas & build mode alot. cottage living looks good but it’s not making me want to play, just looks like another average pack everyone will forget about.

i wish they would update the sims 3 & even 2 to make it run on more computers, i miss it so much! the gameplay was amazing.

What are everyone's opinions of the high school pack? Is it worth it and what are the best features?

I think the build/buy items are beautiful, and you get loads of things, there's at least 6 new bedroom sets with loads of matching items and knick knacks and good Art Deco/1930s style items for building old fashioned houses and retail lots. The world is charming looking too.

The high school lot itself is far too big for comfortable gameplay, it takes a Sim 2 in game hours to get from task to task within the enormous school (most gamers bulldozed it and built their own and it worked far more smoothly) . The school day itself is very repetitive, you sit in class and don't have the option to slack off or work hard or do anything bar go on your phone. Which doesn't seem to affect your grades anyway.

Prom comes around far too frequently and is too short an event to do all the tasks in, which is frustrating. And graduation is frequently bugged out.

The Tunnel of Love and the Ferris Wheel at the boardwalk area are all rabbitholes, which I found very disappointing. It is a very charming area for teens to hang out and socialise at though.

The thrift thing of designing outfits for townies to wear is pretty good fun, and a good money maker if playing Rags to Riches. The Social Bunny app is very limited and repetitive.

I think if you like building/decorating or adore teens as a life stage, it's great. But gameplay is a little shallow, and the bugs are frequent.

i’m currently doing the 100 baby challenge and my sim has had about 20 kids so far. she was quite slim when i started and just a little curvy. but now after all these kids she has become huge

I couldn't play this game without cheats My hubby tells me off for doing it, but the way I see it I am just using the game to its full potential!

Money cheats for example. I want my sims to live nice lives. I am not rich so I play for some escapism, lol.

I’m hard, if I have to suffer then so do my sims.

Most of my Sims have very colourful houses just because I like it. And lots of animal stuff. I gave every one of my Sim households a cat because I LOVE cats and when the Cottage Living pack comes out they will also each have a bunny

I loved the original pets expansion so if I do find myself playing it more I might be tempted by cats and dogs, or even the cottage one.

I divorced him from his wife then got him to marry my Sim. My Sim moved in, killed him off, and got all his money

Get Famous is one of my least favourite packs. I love the items but the actual gameplay was really disappointing. You can be a famous actor earning hardly anything and going to work is repetitive. Del Sol Valley is gorgeous but as per there’s hardly any actual lots.

One of my absolute favourite things to do! Cannot wait for the Country Living pack. Can I ask how you all play your games? Every laptop I’ve ever used it on has been SO slow! Would you recommend any particular laptop?

To be honest your best bet is a desktop computer. I don’t think laptops are powerful enough for the sims especially when you have expansion packs.

Windenburg and Sam Myshuno are my favourite worlds. Akira is always the father of my children in the game lmao.

Does anyone else use Wicked Whims for the realistic aspects of it like menstruation pregnancy chances and attraction? I can’t be too fussed about the sex part because I hate when I’m trying to get my sim to do something but they’d rather go off to the bathroom and ride Geoffrey Landgraab.
