I have two adult cats. We got a kitten from MIL (who’s cat had a litter) for Christmas. I just love cats, probably more than people.

Sorry for the amount of cat posts I do, I’m a cat lady at only 27 Anyway, I noticed today that my cats tumtum is now touching the floor when she sits. Does everyone else’s cats do that or is she getting chonky AF?
As I know people will probably ask, she spends around two hours a day outside. But the rest inside either sleeping or following me. She has whiskas dry food which she can graze all day on, and will have around 3 pouches but sometimes gets a 4th as theirs four adults in this house coming and going an we never know if she’s been fed and she tells us that she hasn’t so sometimes she does get 4.
Oh and she is 3. The boy eats the same and he literally is so thin he looks like a stray it’s odd.

this is the kind of thread I’m here for! I have two cats: George (tabby, 6) and Ralph (black, 1). They’re both honestly the best things that have ever ever happened to me and have definitely kept me sane during the various and never ending lockdowns.
Ralph is utterly obsessed with his big brother. I have a whole album of photos in my phone called ‘Ralph being a creep’ which is just a series of pictures of Ralph watching George sleep.
George just about tolerates Ralph BUT has never seriously hurt him despite being a big a guy and would have been able to squash him with his butt when Ralph was a kitten, so I suspect he likes him really.
Not so long ago I hired a cat psychic so I could hear George’s thoughts; well that was the best £30 I’ve ever spent ha! Apparently his favourite song is bohemian rhapsody, thinks he’s a bit of a ladies man and thinks I’m his soul mate
I’ll stop now but I could seriously talk about my boys forever.

It does say on the side of the cat food box to feed them 3-4 sachets a day. Maybe she’s being fed elsewhere? However, it’s winter so she’ll have more fur and a festive flab to her. I wouldn’t worry.

That beautiful kitten deserves a whole website! I have fourteen + cats (don't hate me, here in southern Spain animals are neglected and two a penny but things are getting better) and four dogs.
My favourite is this little boy who I got from under a car when he was about 3 weeks old. He had the most awful eye infection and lost one eye but he is an affectionate little chap now. He is called Rocky.

My friend has a gorgeous big white cat but it’s huge, makes me quite sad actually

Tried to find some pics of my cat but there’s far too many to go through! Mine is a wee greedy madam but she only gets what she’s supposed to get, she has her dry food out and then we get the wet food pouches, some she isn’t a fan off.
she’s quite a lean cat but some pics you’d think otherwise. She isn’t really a fan of water in a bowl so we had to buy a little cat fountain on Amazon which she loves

Beauty mine loves human food, can’t eat a single meal without her giving you guilt for not giving her any. She loves when we do a roast chicken on a Sunday. She gets a little bit of chicken... spoilt

My baby. She’s had a traumatic few weeks, but on the mend finally. She was 4.2kg when she went into surgery but she’s lost a fair bit from not eating for the best part of a week. She’s teeny tiny but Burmese are a heavy cat so vet isn’t concerned

This is my cat. She’s quite fat her tummy is fat and her head is tiny.
She has 4 pouches of wet food a day, no biscuits. She often wakes me up at 3am for feeding and she bites me if she doesn’t get fed. I’m not sure if 4 pouches is a lot. I think it is but she begs otherwise and it annoys me too much!

Hope it is ok to ask a quick question on this thread. When is the best age to get her spayed? Our vet has said 6 months is a good time but I had read that is old fashioned advice and earlier is better. Just want to ensure we get it at the correct age for her.

She is an indoors cat if that makes a difference.
