I mean, who really wants to look inside his head - there isn’t enough money in the world … but I don’t think anyone would disagree that he and William had an awful time with the press when they were young. They were in the middle of a perfect storm really, the media were getting emboldened and had means however suspect, the traditional Pathé news style reporting on the Royal Family had been washed away and their parents alternatively courted and demonised the media.Yeah I'm not sure what exactly he wants at this point. He wanted to be out of the RF. He is now out of the RF and wanting privacy, but not a week or so (it seems like anyway) goes by without a story about them. Maybe that's the media's fault for reporting on their moves, but at some point they need to just live their lives without attention.
I think they must be the first people it's ever happened to. As if their sense of self-importance needs inflating any further. How A-List is it though to get caught up in a two hour pap chase in NY?
exaggerated and emotive language was definitely used. "a chase that could have been fatal"The comment from M&H’s spokesperson never said it was high speed (which is what the Mayor says).
I can see them being pursued by the paparazzi for around two hours but I think the spokesperson used exaggerated language such as ‘chase’ (you automatically think speed is involved), ‘catastrophic’, ‘relentless’, etc. No doubt it would have been scary for H&M and Doria, especially as in the back of their mind the Paris car crash is there.
Also, not wearing seatbelts is idiotic. Even though no one in the Paris crash were wearing seatbelts, it’s still more likely to save your life and prevent harm.
I really wish they did a breakdown. Is there a breakdown of what the costs were for?
Do they pay for Westminster palace? Many of the people involved were doing their normal job that they would have been paid for regardless, so does the figure include this?

In 2013 it was worth £30million but doubt it’s that high now.Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton sell Party Pieces business
Party Pieces, which was launched by Carole and Michael Middleton in 1987, has been sold to entrepreneur James Sinclair, according to reports.www.dailymail.co.uk
Wonder how much they sold it for - convenient that now they want to spend time with their grandkids when it's insolvent
There is often comorbidity with Cluster B. I wouldn't leave NPD off the list. They just become annoying irritants who cling on to perceived "fame"https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/conditions/histrionic-personality-disorder
They’re both over retirement age and they do now have 6 grandchildren (and no doubt James and his wife will give them even more) so I don’t begrudge them getting out while the going is good so to speak!Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton sell Party Pieces business

I agree...It would be fascinating to know what a reputable and non-celeb UK psychiatrist made of the pair of them...There is often comorbidity with Cluster B. I wouldn't leave NPD off the list.
supermarkets and stores like Home Bargains/ B&M have everything these days! There's no way to competeI'm not greatly surprised that Party Pieces was perhaps struggling, it's one of those businesses that was clearly a great idea at the time, filled a gap in the market and went on to be relatively successful but as with so many now, multiple others have come along, oversaturated the market and likely offered a cheaper price.
I did see a tweet that said they couldn't believe William hadn't bailed them outCould you imagine the uproar if he did, likely the same person would have had something to say about it
I really don't begrudge the Middletons, they've worked hard to build a business (yes OK they had money to start with but that doesn't mean they didn't have to put the work in) and seem to have raised 3 relatively well-rounded, good kids. I've never greatly bought into the idea that Carole sent Kate chasing after Wills (always the Mother who gets the blame for that isn't it?) and think she probably just wanted to make sure her kids had the very best chances in life and made sure they were in the right schools, socialising in the right circles etc.
It's nice that they all seem to live quite close together (I think), I think having the Middletons around is one of the best things that could have happened to both William and George as future Kings
Exactly, I'm sure back in the eighties or whenever it was that they started it, good party stuff was limited, hence why it did so well. Now however you can get literally anything and everything from various online retailers and as you say, even the supermarkets and Home Bargains have a great selection. It didn't really stand a chance in today's marketsupermarkets and stores like Home Bargains/ B&M have everything these days! There's no way to compete
At a certain point too you need to just accept that life isn't fair and if you really don't want to be in the papers or have paparazzi take photos of you then you might need to change the way you live your life.Yeah I'm not sure what exactly he wants at this point. He wanted to be out of the RF. He is now out of the RF and wanting privacy, but not a week or so (it seems like anyway) goes by without a story about them. One thing I saw on twitter was someone posting that every A list celebrity got home from the Met Gala without an issue. They are always involved in some kind of drama. People eventually tire of it. Celebrity or otherwise.
