I’ve not been down for about 20 years now. Lots of amazing memories were made there. My parents still go down once or twice a yearAs a kid growing up in the 70s / 80s, Morecambe was fab, always loads to do. It's still fab as long as you don't want shopping and are happy to entertain your kids with some of the simpler things in life without just throwing money at them. Obviously, first choice for for a place to live for the Radfords then
I spent many a holiday in Morecambe during my childhood. But that was back in the days of Frontier land and bubbles
My grandma stayed in Bare. Know it like the back of my hand
The one at Happy Mount Park. When we were there in the summer, the queue to the kiosk to buy a ticket stretched almost as far as the main gates! We decided to give it a miss that day.Use to go there so much. I took my kids at the end of the summer holidays. There’s decent park with a splash park. And it’s only £1 for 1 hour.
I remember the old paddling pool and the miniature railwayThere's my childhood right there. I lived in Morecambe for a while (well. Heysham) and Friday nights were all about being dropped outside Frontierland at 6pm with a fiver to buy a £2 unlimited ride wristband and enough change to buy crisps and a can of coke or whatever other crap we could lay our hands on. Then my dad would pick me up outside at 9pm. Loved Bubbles too.
My parents still live in Morecambe now and the biggest child and I had a lovely cycle in the summer that took us past the Radford's house. We cycled the length of that road so must have cycled past SandGrown's house.

Took my youngest to the Post Office on Princes Crescent in the summer to buy a bucket as his had a crack in it. There's a pool to go crabbing in directly opposite Princes Crescent now.I remember the old paddling pool and the miniature railway
Going shopping on Princes Crescent as a kid with my parents or being sat in the Jubilee club with Coke and a bag of seabrook crisps
I remember when Pine lake was new. Think I’m showing my age now haha. There’s some beautiful countryside around if you drive a bit, very quaintTook my youngest to the Post Office on Princes Crescent in the summer to buy a bucket as his had a crack in it. My parents live very locally to there.
That’s the one . We were lucky my kids went back a week later than most. So that last week we did a full week of days outThere's my childhood right there. I lived in Morecambe for a while (well. Of course somethings gone down. But Sues out looking at tat in shops to derail the whole thing. Cannot be arsed with Millie but I hope she’s given those two twats the V sign and moved out. It’s around now that they normally start putting out some vlogs of them going to different places looking at the Christmas tat and Millie is always with them so if she’s missing we know something is defo going on.
Now she’s asking what to buy for bratty Bonnie with four or five presents already. The answer is NOTHING else, they’ve been bought more than enough unnecessary toys over the years. Having said that they are probably now back in the shop or in a dozen skips.
The younger girls all have ratty tatty scratty hair. They only seem to get it cut if it’s a freebie for a vlog. Excellent parenting not.A hairbrush , bless her in the christening pictures
They probably saved the christening for the tv show. I was surprised they didn’t vlog Oscar’s birthday last month they normally do the younger ones birthday and be all grabby. Although he may have asked not to be filmed now he’s getting older. They will be off to Alton towers this weekend as they mentioned they would be there for Bonnies birthday which is tomorrow (my cousin was born on same day that’s why I remember).Of course somethings gone down. Why no christening vlog?

It’s all a far cry from the early days of kids and counting when finances were tight and treats like this would have been few and very far between.Do the kids not get bored of AT? Jeeeeesus! All growing up to be self entitled brats
