He really did, especially towards the end when he was speaking to her to say thank you.

He has granted William and Catherine Prince and Princess of Wales. I hope they both take those titles. I think it's fitting his wife takes the title his mother had (and right that Camilla never took it even though its very clear how much her and Charles love each other).

One of his brothers is an absolute abuser, let’s not make it about duties! That’s he can no longer do. Firmly believe a lot more will come out about that now the Queen has passed.

Just heartbreaking watching That speech. To have to address that nation the day after your mother passing. After I lost both my parents 18 months apart I truly cannot imagine having to grief so publicly.

A very touching speech by our new King. When he spoke of his dear Mama and Papa I started crying. And the end about the flight of angels. He looks so very sad.

ETA Very pleased that we have a new Prince and Princess of Wales. A happier couple and very special for Kate to take the title after Diana.
