Have just watched his short video... and unfortunately, I read the comments...Nice to see one of the gang can get out of their pit early. Ryan's village walk around, check out the time on the church clock and another above a shop door.
So obvious that the majority of the posters are Americans and have zero clue of what France is.
They are all surprised that this tiny village is deserted. This is (very) rural France - as all these vloggers' videos are about. Younger people don't live there. They live in bigger towns or cities (where the work and the infrastructures like hospitals and schools are).
These villages are all clean and quaint like all towns and cities in France. That's the result of quite high local taxes.
These tiny and rural villages are mainly unhabited by pensioners, older people.
If some younger people live in these small villages, they are at their workplace somewhere in the next bigger town or working from home... but not in the streets of a village with no shop, no bakery, nothing !
