I feel quite disturbed by seeing her last post. Why does she do it? For likes and comments from strangers most probably. I have no doubt he is unwell but the way she uses social media is abhorrent. It also makes me question her sanity.
I googled FII,and Bartters syndrome was mentioned ( with reference to low potassium) but I am confused, she obviously shares absolutely everything about her sons medical conditions,Bartters syndrome is treated by endocrinologists, vomiting is a symptom. NSAIDS can be used for treatment ( he has ibuprofen) but it’s recommended to stop use if it causes gastric irritation and chronic vomiting. She has spent the past 18 months moaning about his vomiting and the amount of washing she has to do yet the glaringly obvious reasons are not addressed by her? So vomiting can cause hypokalaemia and should be managed by an endocrinologist, why is she campaigning to see gastro specialists at GOSH? Why hasn’t she stopped his NSAIDS? It is just so confusing once you read about Bartters syndrome, low potassium and vomiting with Kaytee’s history in my head!
I hope he is better today and goes home soon.
Kaytee has never mentioned Tattle for obvious reasons, she most probably refers to us all as nasty trolls. I would guess that every single one of us are here because we felt huge amounts of compassion and care towards her son but felt uneasy with her behaviour?

before tattle allowed a thread on her she did start a petition to try and get the site banned actually. I had no idea what it was until she shared it. 😬

that last picture of the emergency situation has really pissed me off! how can she as a mother even think to take a photo of her child in that situation, surely that really shouldn't cross you mind to do it at all!!! any parent would be holding their child's hand and telling them they are alright and talking to them not taking a bloody photo!!

If that was my child, I would be so anxious and worried. The last thing on my mind would be "I better take a photo and post it to Instagram "
Give the child some dignity!

I am appalled at her last post. But the lack of dignity and privacy she gives that boy I'm not surprised.

Kath, he was crashing and your fight or flight instinct was content for the gram? Most mothers would be trying to hold it together then frantically updating their families.

Also, you took him off his cardiac meds. You knew this was the exact risk that his heart would struggle to cope and would cause fluid overload which puts further strain on his heart. You know this, you've learnt this at uni, and when "discussing" {demanding} about the reduction with his consultant this would of been the *FIRST* thing they warned you about.

I hate to say it but this is exactly what she's been leading up too.. she's been waiting for his potassium to drop low enough his body goes into fight or flight & his heart begins to show signs of distress. This is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever seen....

I think I’ve missed whatever post she put up that has now been removed? However as he was on PICU for less then 24hours I imagine the low potassium heart arrhythmias settled and he didnt require anything invasive.. ?

It looked like they resolved and they were deescalated to ward based care. At tea time last night she posted that there were issues again he was back on IV potassium and hoped he didn't have to go to PICU. He'll most certainly be back on PICU now

I’m shocked and disgusted by her this morning!! I’ve been in hospital with my son when he was very ill, as someone else said earlier, I didn’t even know where my phone was. The last thing on my mind was posting it on social media. There is something seriously wrong in her head!!

No it’s still on her stories, I’ve cropped the main photo so you can just see her text.
this is so uncomfortable, why does she dedicate so much time to capturing it all for insta when her baby is so poorly 😔 it’s not like her followers make massive demands, nobody would hold it against her if she just didn’t post. yes people are invested in J but surely would prefer she spent some proper time being present with/for her child than face constantly stuck in phone? it just makes no sense to me

She makes me sick. Surely that pic could be a trigger for some families that follow her? She has no thought for her poor baby or anyone else. Just herself. Selfish cow.

Even the time tag. Why is that even relevant other than to show she didn’t get a full nights sleep. We all know it was sometime between her last story last night and whatever time we view the story we can see how long ago it was posted. She has to emphasise every little detail she knows will gain a reaction. And again a reaction for her not for him.

Maybe if she stopped deciding she knew best and messed with his medication without guidance from a professional, this wouldn’t happen so much. How the hospital don’t investigate his home life, I do not know.

Furosemide is a diuretic. It sometimes comes mixed with other diuretics or potassium. So posting about it affecting his potassium’s levels is rubbish, it can be mixed with it to balance this out. It isn’t some fancy medicine it’s literally to reduce excess fluid in the body and it’s taken by people on a daily basis without the drama. I know of a baby who takes it daily!

She’s relying on her followers to see medical jargon again and assume the worst as it’s posted alongside a very distressing image (distressing as I said prior it shouldn’t be allowed- he can’t consent and it’s invasive). It’s all to up her engagement levels for ads, she really is the worst type of person out there. Using her child for financial gain.

She should consider how she would feel if in a similar situation and her sugar daddy’s first thought was to expose her to 60K strangers on the internet.

No decent parent takes a photo of their child MID SUFFERING like that.
I’d imagine the nurses standing there and going “what the duck is she doing”
Just documenting it for the gram guys, gotta get them likes!

They give furosemide to urology patients to help with peeing so it’s hardly a high risk drug.

I just do not understand how the people who follow her think this is acceptable behaviour . Never have I ever come across a nurse standing over a sick childs bed and the parent taking a photo and uploading it to social media whilst this is happening . Some serious red flags and I am shocked her followers are so blinded to what is actually going on here . This girl has never looked after j on her own for more than 2 hours she relies on carers to do it all she is a disgrace and the worst kind of mother I have ever come across I feel so sorry for poor j he deserves better I have screenshot that story along with many others and I am ringing social services this abuse and invasion of j privacy cannot go on

‘... I hate these emergencies with a passion. The fear chokes me every time’

& how do you think J feels when he’s living the emergency because he is the emergency and his scummy Mummy isn’t by his bedside holding his hand, instead she’s stood back getting her picture for the gram hey Kathy?

She’s a disgrace. He needs taking out of her care and she needs prosecuting for neglect!
Imagine how he’d thrive without her.

What are the chances that she's even told his dad that J is in hospital? Unless he follows her Instagram still, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even know his child is ill 😢
