I think they have quite a lazy parenting style too. Also they've hardly ever filmed any days out that have been centred around the children, which makes me think they don't do anything, besides shop and eat out. My daughter is a few months younger than Harlow and pre-Covid we've done so much with her, trips to the beach, farms, various soft plays, theme parks etc. Seeing as they're a family of four they have more of a couple lifestyle. Also I actually think the only reason Harlow is now potty trained is because they were in Brazil and Nicole's mum was probably involved.
I agree, they do come across as very lazy. Casey’s cousin Jamie (TheDalleyEdits) family seem to do way more children orientated things, even though Alex works. I’m surprised Casey and Nicole don’t do the same

Why are they so tit at intros?! He's already in the car in the first clip and we have no idea wtf the challenge is? Stupid.

Just seen that Casey ripped off Saffron's fake tattoo idea and pretended to get Ni's name on his leg. Can't believe they just nicked the same idea?! Only difference is Wendy's face is even more frozen then when Saffron filmed hers a while back.

Their videos just make me so sad. Harlow and Lake constantly get dragged to shops and restaurants, even during a pandemic. In today’s video, Nicole talks a length about both kids’ “transitional wardrobe” WTF. Do we ever see them properly play with the children? Organising activities? Help their development in any way? Nicole just constantly says “aw bubba” whilst sounding bored shitless.

I don’t even have a transitional wardrobe 😂. I buy my child - who’s the same age as Harlow - summer clothes and winter clothes. In fact, we went shopping yesterday to buy all his winter clothes, I may get him a couple more bits if I see something nice whilst in Tesco but for the most part, his winter wardrobe is done. These two need to realise there’s more to having children than just buying them toys and dressing them up. They don’t quite understand that you need to nurture them, they need quiet time where they have their parent(s) undivided attention. It’s not enough to just take them out shopping - take them for a walk in the forest and see what they can find. Buy some paints, glue, feathers and other crafty bits and sit at the dining table and do some craft together - you bought the table, why not use it to make family memories? How are they happy knowing their children are so un-stimulated?

Agreed. Always about buying them pricey toys and clothes. But then not really interacting with them and letting them actually learn anything from said toys. I can't stand the toddler shopping with no budget videos, how is that a good thing for children to be able to help themselves in shops to whatever they want? Madness.

Exactly! And what happens when the money is running out and they’re popularity fades and Harlow is all of a sudden told no (which will be harder when she’s older!)? The other day I was shopping with my son, he picked up a toy car he liked the look of and put it in the basket, I explained he can’t have it just because and he put it back and that was that. Children need to be taught boundaries and those two have none (although can’t include Lake in that as he’s still too young but we know he’ll end up the same as Harlow).

Yeah, I thought it as excessive. And such a weird lunch. A sandwich, a handful of crisps, biscuits and chopped up small fruit is usually the norm. And maybe a sweet chucked in every few days. How did they expect Harlow to eat that whole apple properly?! She took like two bites and was clearly famished by the end of school.

Usually parents give their children "run throughs" about what to eat first at lunchtime by giving them lunch at home in their lunchbox so they know what to do at school and didnt just eat 3 cookies and call it a day! Hopefully now she's in school, her speech will improve bc right now, she's not speaking for her age development.

I think with her language its because she is learning to talk two languages.

To be fair, my 3 year old can eat an entire apple without it needing to be cut up or peeled. But yes, 5 cookies is too much.

With regards to her speech, all children are different so it’s unfair to comment on her speech. My 3 year old has been in nursery since he was 10 months old, has been read to since birth, can count to 20, knows every colour and the alphabet but his conversational speech just isn’t there yet. Plus Harlow is learning 2 languages so in her head needs to differentiate the two.

Yeah, I've mentioned the two languages before too.

I meant the fact that her parents speak to her stiltedly. And Harlow now mimics them. At school, she will pick up the way teachers speak, other kids which she will incorporate.

I actually gasped when I saw that! One cookie is adequate for a 3 year old. My daughter is the same age and she could eat whole sandwich thin with a filling such as hummous/peanut butter/cheese etc, then a chunk of cheese, 4 slices of cucumber, a small apple, then maybe some ham sliced up. As it's all healthy we don't make her eat something particular first, if she wants her apple first, that's fine. We save things like cookies for an occasional snack or just an extra, not as a main part of her lunch.

I'm glad other people think the same I was starting to think my little boy had the saddest lunch box at nursery with a sandwich fruit all chopped up and a squezzy yoghurt

Did anyone else find it a bit sad when they said that Harlow acted very grown up and didn't act like a child? I know they obviously don't film their whole lives but pre-Covid they rarely showed themselves doing anything for Harlow, I think I've seen her at a trampoline park once or twice, soft play at the gym and that's about it. No baby/toddler groups, hardly interacting with other children etc, Harlow would have benefitted going to a nursery a long time ago, even if it was just for the socialising/playing with other children element and not for the daycare. I don't think there's any shame being at home or working from home and sending your child to daycare for the odd day or session each week.
