I agree with all of this; I find myself watching more people like LoeppkysLife on YouTube. She lives a slow, frugal life and is a mother of 4, she thrifts the majority of her things and her husband builds most of the luxurious furniture they don’t want to spend loads on (for example they have one of those tvs that have frames, she didn’t wanna spent $400 on a frame so they made their own). She also grows produce in her garden and home makes all of her families meals. Tory Twats like these two would never be that frugal, creative or even humble enough to live such a slow and mundane life and be happy about it.You know when you Google how to make extra money and one of the suggestions is “sell your stuff”. I always think that’s so stupid, how much money is a few random odds and ends ever going to be worth??(I don’t really have a lot of unnecessary items - grew up poor - financially well now but still thrifty!).
Seeing all their crap strewn about their house makes that make senseactually a shocking representation of consumerism at its most desperate.

I think they were on the up back in the day when it was cooler to be spendy with makeup and trendy gadgets etc. but they’re type of lifestyle just isn’t aspirational to anyone these days.
They are always advertising ott cars, hanging around expensive coffee shops and downing vitamins by the handful just to feel better about themselves. So grim! It’s no surprise they’re unsatisfied and empty headed - they don’t want to be seen as materialistic but when you look at how they’ve struggled to de clutter its obvious materialism has been the driving force of their lives.
I suppose the way society operates is partly to blame and they got swept up in all the social media influencer stuff but they could at least stop acting like they know so much about well-being when they can’t even manage their own greed and perpetual dissatisfaction.

Honestly I often think this. She met him when she was really young and vulnerable, having just lost her mum. I think she could do it on her own, her and the kids, cut back on the consumption , do her yoga and her raw vlogs. She’d be fine.If Hannah is lovely and he’s dulling her light why hasn’t she left?
