No you get shown in hospital how to fit the nappies, how to lift them etc and then its on your own till your next appointment. For us it was 9 weeks till he had it off. In their defence they are impossible to keep clean, I don't know anyone who kid had the spica and it was clean when taken off.I'm not fully aware of body casts especially for infants but will Mila have constant doctor visits or that to make sure they are giving her the proper care in the cast? That they are keeping it and clean etc. Cause if the doctors do check up and they see the rotten two haven't been keeping up to the standards they should be, wouldn't that be sort of good (not good that they are neglecting their childs health obviously but good as in then actual professionals can see and maybe pull them up about it)
FAME happenedOMG what a difference all round!
Sarah was groomed and spoke well
The girls were well presented and clearly meant more of than a pay packet
Hairs were tied back / brushed/ clean
Even Prinny was smart and clean
They walked to school and school was going so well!
There was mention of swimming, gymnastics, gyms,
The girls were praised and not made fun of
There we’re outdoor activities in the park
Chris had a proper job!
What on earth has happened to this family?
Unfortunately Lazy appears not to have been dragged up but left to crawl her own way out of childhood. I recall it said that Creepy was a step up into ‘middle class’ for her. Hid forbid if this was true she really did have it bad as a youngster. Creepy was never upwardly mobile (??????) but his parents seem to have a modicum of sense and continue to support the children as much as the big whale will allow. Everything seemed so much better when Granny drove Sarah around and the family visited more. Bad as Jane and Steve are they are a huge improvement on their son and Sarah. Sad but trueThey are just an awful family, so rude and clearly have never heard of the saying “don’t bite the hand that feeds you”.
I honestly can’t believe they opted for a crisp to be the first solid food they gave to their baby. Those puff things are just processed junk food for babies and while they are fine on occasion as part of a varied diet you just know that this poor baby is going to grow up on a diet of utter crap.
I baby led weaned my own children and they ate all kinds of things especially my youngest who I was very relaxed with but all of them had a good solid foundation of healthy homemade meals with lots of fruit and veg because that’s how we eat as a family so I was happy for them to have the odd bit of cake or whatever alongside that.
I’m really interested to see how 2022 goes for them, I hope their channel continues to decline and that those kids can go back to have some kind of normal life instead of living inside their weird bubble.
I always think the oldest child is nice but dim,she seems quite caring to the youngest chuldrun but also very nervous probably due to being kept away from society and people her own age , I'm sure given a "life" she would flourish in all waysGreetings - haven’t been around much but caught up - pretty much.
Have folks seen the 16 year old’s Show & Tell video?
She does not have any learning disabilities or special needs, does she?
It’s pitifully sad - I was going to use their latest word of the moment (embarrassed) - what being locked away with no one but the immediate family. No one to learn from, to share experiences, to get a balanced view of the world, to form her own opinions, have original thoughts. Her brain should be growing like crazy, absorbing new experiences and ideas.
Instead, cheap shelves are ‘so cuuu(t)e’, books are described by the color of the cover and what she’s seen on TikTok, rather than the subject matter, she’s unfamiliar with the name Achilles and feels sure that the correct pronunciation is wrong because it sounds weird and she can’t say it.
Dear god/s! At 16, even with Covid restricting our lives, but apparently not theirs - there is such damage done.
I had some hope that creativity would spring forth from the music equipment - top of the range studio recording quality - but no. What’s needed is a cute coffee table so that she can spend more time on her sofa and less in bed. Now that’s messed up for anyone who can get out of bed.
Having seen that video of them from a few years back - surely investing in a running machine and some dumbbells, yoga mat and exercise ball would be good for ALL of them?
Sadly, ‘set for life’ seems like they are set in concrete. Inflexible, immovable, grey, cold, devoid of emotions.

Yes, they can eat solid food you have to kind of prop them up with cushions etc. or use a highchair.Sorry if this is a stupid question. Is there even any point to weaning Mila now? It's only recommended you wean a baby when they can sit up on their own. She'll lose all muscle tone after a while so won't be able to sit up on her own. Will she still be allowed to eat solid food?
Agreed. Ours was in the body cast for many months, with it being changed every six weeks. It's impossible for it to be kept clean. No you get shown in hospital how to fit the nappies, how to lift them etc and then its on your own till your next appointment. For us it was 9 weeks till he had it off. In their defence they are impossible to keep clean, I don't know anyone who kid had the spica and it was clean when taken off.
I think reading anything is better than nothing, but I am also not convinced she really reads them. It's more a character that she has been given, like Isla is the "clever" one, Esme is the "funny" one.I know it’s probably the most enriching part of her life so I feel awful for knocking it but I cringe every time I hear Isabelle say she loves books, is into reading etc. when I know full well she only owns a handful of crappy books she probably will never read.
I loved books as a teenager too, but at 16 I was years into reading adult material (the classics I mean, not sexy stuff lol), contemporary literary fiction, I used to really love mid century American stuff and I think I found feminist poetry then too. I don’t say this to be pretentious. It was just what I liked, and I didn’t even use ‘bookish’ as an identity the way Isabelle does.
It’s so heartbreaking and pathetic that Isabelle’s main hobby and personality trait is ‘books’ and by that she just means ‘crappy YA novels from Tiktok’ that she can barely pronounce the name of.

I have no idea at all that baffles me all the time! I was like look I have nothing to hide I am being so genuine you can even read through all the volumes of medical notes I have if you wish but it still took a couple of years to get what I was entitled to do how people who have nothing wrong seem to get it I have no idea! That’s awful why is it always the people that need it don’t get it ugh
No you can prop them up with pillows etc. , some older kids actually manage to drag themselves around with them on although mine never managed to do that! Mine spent a lot of time in the highchair and a beany bag chair, you can get special tables made aswell so that they can sit at them.I see on here that people have had children who unfortunately had to have the cast on, I can’t imagine what it must of been like, so hats off to you, my daughter had ‘clicky hips’ she just had to wear double nappies for 6 weeks - proper Harrington towelling ones, even though she had 10 to 2 legs it was nothing like You have been through! wanted to ask - once casted is the baby only able to lay on their back for the whole time?
