I think the thing about siblings being close can be true. My own experience is that my dc are very close in a way they might not be if they were in school. I’m not saying it isn’t possible to be close to siblings if you are in school, just that it is a different experience to being with them all day every day and to your education happening together as a sibling group.
However the flip side is that they also need to be give the opportunity to have time away from each other to develop their own interests and spread their wings. My children do their own activities, they would actually be happy to do them together but I deliberately put them into separate groups.

The shower!!! Good idea for washing your feet after coming off the beach back into the van.

Just hope no one is on there period and has to use the outside or the shower over the toilet!!

Sounds like he ripped out half the caravan to fit in the tin can
Creepy is not of sound mind
Mind blowing to me. I always wanted an RV to go travelling with my kids like that… they turned it all down for a van. 🤣

He wanted the kids home-schooled he got his way, he wants to travel in a van he got his way.
He doesn't want any of this. Neither of them do. He pretends he does, but that is just to save face. They all HAVE to live like this because he got caught noncing, and he'd rather they all suffered than have to admit it.

I’m biased anyway when it comes to Jace’s hair. I 100% understand the concerns about the cleanliness of it, and the fact it doesn’t seem to be brushed ever, but the occasional comment about it being long makes me feel like we’ve regressed as a society again lol.

we got comments about my sons hair when he was younger but now he’s12 and still has long hair but the comments are few and far between and only come from people 50+.
Like I said I am biased though. This was my son at Jace’s age 🤣

I have to disagree I’m 60 my youngest sons hair was so long when he was Jaces age people constantly thought he was a girl 😂 and he and his brother who also had long hair when they were teenagers were whistled at by blokes ( until they turned around) so all us over 50’s are not bothered by a child’s hair although the stupid scrunchie things are a bit ridiculous and there is the feeling she’s trying to make him look like a girl 🤷‍♀️

What we are bothered about is their rubbish parenting and half arsed home schooling along with dubious cleanliness, and lack of essential socialisation despite their parents claims otherwise
But they’ve escaped the UK now and seem to prefer life on the run to living in their marble mausoleum- makes you wonder why they wasted their money on that hot tub 🤔

Exactly! I've seen tonnes of van tours, some by the conversion companies and some by vanlifers and they give you a complete walk through, but I suppose their vans are done to a higher spec where people watch for inspiration, this is a video for the ifam. I was expecting lots of arty shots outside, a detailed tour of the van and a smooth walk through showing the van set up at different points of the day. I can't believe they don't know how to film after all of these years, why stand there just filming yourself talking about it when you can actually show it. They could have showed clips of them cooking, eating as a family, watching a movie inside, travelling.

The whole carseat explanation is lies, you can see the leg tucked under Jace's car seat on a previous video. I dread to think how the Isofix brackets are installed given the van's seats are made out of plywood. We retrospectivly fitted isofix brackets in our old car, but under the car seats the holes are pre-drilled by the manufacturer in the metal bodywork of the car. If he's custom build the van seats with plywood and removable cushions it would be hard to get an Isofix bracket that can be installed into the van floor and actually fits.

Also that van is massively overweight. People with the same type vans are saving weight using lattice wood on their cupboard doors or curtains, not using actual kitchen cupboards designed for houses. I also read yesterday about someone in a Sprinter having a 35l water tank that was too heavy for his van and they have 70l and are on about getting bigger. Also heavy things should be stored close to the floor near the axels and evenly distributed, they have those huge storage boxes on top. Also these other vanlifers worried about weight usually only have two adults travelling. I really hope they are pulled over, otherwise something serious could happen.
Unfortunately the only time the Ingham’s are going to face consequences are when something serious happens because any genuine concerns are just haters and trolls. I hope they get pulled over and that death trap taken off the road before it happens.

They have been very lucky with a few things like leaving Jace and that loch not ending seriously badly. Because of this they seem to think they are invincible but things only take a split second. Especially when the father is driving on no sleep. Why is sarah not sharing the driving at least?

Absolutely love this picture. Just another thing I love about homeschooling.. just how close Jace and the girls have become. Getting to spend so much time making memories together and seeing each other grow. It's so precious and I have no doubt it will bond them for life. 💕

And it saves lazy having to look after Jace and Mila 🙄 This way the girls can do it after their 20 minutes of homeschooling a day 😂 Hi Sarah we see you👋🏻

No, Sarah38 they never get annoyed with the little ones. That’s why we saw Isla give Jace a slap last week and push him over when they were on the beach in Scotland. I’m surprised you’ve not choked on your own bullshit, tbh.
And Esme “tapped” Jace last week when creepy did 😂

Great if the chuldrun all get on well and end up close but in their case if they didn't interact with each other they would have no human interaction whatsoever.
It would do them all the world of good to spend time away from each other and have separate friends and interests/hobbies, that way they won't get sick of each other all cooped up 24/7 and when they are together they will have something different to talk about.

They won't do this but I'd like to see a day in life in the van 'wild camping'.
See them wake up, put away the beds and bedding.
Breakfast and getting ready.
The girls 'school work' and how Creepy, Lazy and the little two keep out of the way.
How they manoeuvre round the van without tripping over 6 other people.
Setting up the van for driving and seeing all 7 in their seats when the van is moving.
Mealtimes, preparing actual food not just Pot Noodles.
Setting up for bed.
Showing how they offer privacy for those who want it.

I don’t understand a lot of the hang ups with Jace’s hair honestly. Yes it should be brushed and he could do with a trim but whats the harm in long hair, or ponytails and braids?
Personally, I don’t have any problem with boys having long hair. I work in a school and volunteer with children too and think long hair looks great on boys and that it shows they have confidence in themselves. I don’t mind Jace having long hair. What I do have a problem with is Lazy. She’s allowed his hair to grow long and messy like a bird’s nest and sometimes dresses him in some feminine looking clothes. Again, nothing wrong with those clothes. However, she can’t help but dress Mila in the most girly, prettiest (in her opinion!) clothes she can find. So one rule for one - baby girl dressed as girly as she can - and one rule for the other - little boy ‘feminised’ because boys should be allowed to. Why can’t Mila be dressed in blues, diggers, dinosaurs instead of pinks, flowers, frills and maybe when her hair grows, Lazy will keep it cut short. Girls are allowed short hair and those clothes but Lazy will never do that! She’ll never allow it! Mila’s hair will be grown as long and straggly as the older sisters’ and wear pinks, flowers and frills for a very long time!

I suspect the good parts were installed by the previous owner. They're claiming Creepy did the work in 3 weeks, but I think that was basically installing the ceiling bed and roofboxes, and bodging the electrics.
3 weeks in Ingham Land but 7 week in the real world!! Van bought 4th August and they left 26/27th September and they claim he was still working on it right up until they left.

The van had a lot in it to start with the black cupboards and units. Creepy took out the 2 safe seats for travelling and replaced them with a plywood bench and foam play mats held on with a strip of Velcro.

The main reason Jace hasn't had his hair cut is because no one gets their hair cut. In their case it would make sense for him to have short hair since they let it get so messy, if short they wouldn't have to do anything to it. However, to keep it short would mean cutting it frequently which they won't do either. There is a small element of wanting to follow others who have boys with longer hair to try and be trendy but mostly they just can't be arsed to do it and don't want contact from someone else cutting it. There isn't any deep thought going into it, jace just unfortunately has messy hair like the rest of them and when they occasionally decide to do something with it, it will end up in a more "girly" style because that's what she's done in the past for the girls and they have a million scrunchies from shein to use.

I am interested to see what effort gets made with Mila when she has more hair since she's now the favourite, but I still don't see that they will make sure she's clean. Why would you for one and not anyone else or yourself? Didn't she buy loads of bow hairband things though and doesn't use them much (which is a good thing) so probably not as much effort as I think she will.

I don't really like long hair on boys/men but don't really care what others do with their children's hair (or own hair) as long as it's cared for in some way. I wouldn't put anything past the inghams but don't think they are about to go all Saccone Joly on Jace, if only because of the effort this would require from them to keep it up.

From the screenshots it looks awful with all the overloaded plugs and wires everywhere. No wonder the inverter chose to take its own life rather than remain in the van.

Wow, there must be a generous 6 inch gap between those seats. Comfy (not).

On the plus side, Chris is finally stepping up as a husband and keeping Sarah company in the big-eye little-eye stakes.

I don't post much, as I can't keep up 🤣 but I browse daily.

The seating system for the children is unsafe and most likely illegal. I would not be surprised that if they got pulled over by police in Spain they would get a hefty fine, and possibly have the vehicle confiscated, or told to get the correct seating and belts fitted before being able to use it again.

I'll have to speak to my family in Spain and explain the seat and belt system, and see what they say.

As for the recent post about siblings and the close bonds they have because they don't attend school 🙄 Sarah38, I can assure you my children who attend school and college have a strong sibling bond.
But they also have their own friend groups, some they've been friends with since nursery.
They've then formed more friendships with new people over the years as they've moved up to new schools and college.

The way those children spend 24/7 with no one except their parents and siblings is not normal. Making memories is not just done by being with your family 24/7. Some of my most amazing memories have been made with friends when we were younger, and we always talk about them when we meet up.

It's like she is always trying to convince everyone it was the best decision to take them out of school.

I wouldn't be surprised if she does realise it was the worst mistake ever, but she is far too arrogant to ever admit she was wrong, so she just keeps trying to convince herself it was the best decision.
