The new phrase "love language" is just ick.
Apparently there are four of these love languages but I've only ever seen people say "my love language is receiving gifts"
Oh really? Who the hell doesn't enjoy receiving gifts?! And congratulations on your love language being completely materialistic and selfish - what a thing to mention.
Tbh not to be that girl.
@E84Blair
But receiving gifts doesn't mean extravagant ones.
I love thoughtful gifts and ONE of my love languages is receiving gifts. Like my ex knew I loved chess (no wonder I didn't have a boyfriend during my teens lol). Anyways he got me a personalised set. Won't go into too much details but each piece was personalised to a degree with things about me that I thought he didn't even care about. It didn't cost him a bomb because he used to be a carpenter, it just took effort. I'm equally as thoughtful with gift giving with friends and family.
I DO agree with you there's multiple love languages and you don't just have one. ( TW: my bottom on is physical touch due to SA but therapy is helping)
I actually learn about love languages from my therapist and its help me understand what I need from a partner with SA my top love language is words of affirming because I never recieved that.

To add another ick to lighten this thread:
- Men who following is larger than their followed. Stop being a thirsty
witch for women
- Men who call women females. I will fight you.
- Men that have podcasts. Please never contact me again. Grown men sitting around discussing "who should pay on the first date" when you should be discussing "who's paying my receding hairline"
- Men that act like Elon Musk is the 2nd coming. He's not gonna
bag you
Ps thanks for the support in my last post
