I went on a date with a lad who had an unlimited cinema card (ick) then used it for his own ticket and stood there not saying anything when the worker said how much for the 2nd ticket then I scrambled to get my card out and pay, I mean I'm deffo not old fashioned and expect men to pay for everything but it was just awkwardness of it all

I would rather he just pay and then I'll ping when we get home. I am more than happy to pay but I don't want to discuss it in public. Thankfully he knows to just pay and I will cough up when home

I hate dividing pennies. I find it really awkward and would rather fork out for the entire meal between two than sit there dividing who had what. Even eating out with friends I feel weird doing it.
Was on the train and a trio of toff nosed, city type men sat down. They didn’t look short of money judging by their clothing and manner but they were using a calculator on a phone to divide around £16 for sandwiches. I overheard one pipe up that his was only £3.60 and he will not pay anymore than that. There was a small kerfuffle over it. I think my fan would grow a pair of hands and sew itself shut if I had a man who divided pennies.

Can I just clarify that I meant I don't expect to be paid for on a date it was just awkward after he use the card and I just stood there like a lemon would've been better if we went to the till separate but I'm not going to dwell on it , we dated for a while after , but not seen him since , it was about 7 or 8 years ago

I went for coffee with a dude once and when we were paying he went "Ooh, can I put your coffee on my stamp card!?" and the combination of the stamp card and the little "ooh" was enough to obliterate his chances right then and there. The libido is a funny bugger, yo.
