I thought Lalande was a mess!!!...so many gorgeous antiques and lovely furniture that is bought because they (mostly Billy) see it and just have to OWN it...then it's stuffed into an unused and run down room somewhere in the top floors and never seen again...until someone asks for a tour of the top floors and films it. At one point Michael joins them and when Anna says something about restoring some of the beautiful pieces, he says he doesn't have time to do that....WTF???...he doesn't have a job, why the hell can't he do it???...OMG!...rant over before I stroke out!...

Isn’t interesting that the pandemic was the event that catapulted these châteaux owners to internet fame, especially CD. Now that covid restrictions are easing we are seeing the châteaux world starting to implode.
It was an escapism for us, and it was an escapism for them as well... From the truth of their own lives :it's time to work their ass off and get real jobs to finance all the projects they've started for god sake.
I can't name any long and painful task she's done off camera since she said she had sewn and out together all the curtains of the château herself. She'd probably never even helped Mary Poppins with the cleaning. She always had more important tasks to do aka galavanting around.

If the next video was 'The tray that renovated a chateau' , which I think it was, BJJ was in it from the beginning as he started to renovate and recover an old sofa BUT he was not properly introduced !
