That clock bag is just so weird to me. Now I'm not a bag type of woman, I try to carry as little as possible, in my pants pocket!! So maybe the fashion bag ladies here can speak to the bag ... but I wouldn't ever carry anything with a big clock on it.
I would not like to carry that either!
I do not like "novelty" bags and that one is plain ugly.

Last year, my mum saw a rubber chicken bag on some talk show she watches (I don't have tv, so no idea where she saw it)...she raved about it so I went online and managed to track down the daft thing online for her for xmas...she has yet to use it...lol...but it was worth seeing her laugh when she opened it. Her go to is a pink coach bag.

I know I am pretty averse to liars but I no longer feel like watching any of the other chateau vloggers who were complicit in the deceit. I don’t want to watch Philip and Anna or Anna and Edd - they partook in the false bedroom arrangement for film…I feel we have all been lied to and made fools of. If you cannot respect your audience, don’t expect any respect back.
I agree. While people have a right to privacy, the duplicity of this situation (his room/her room, his work as her tripod) has involved everyone. I said in the last thread all the chateau owners and the rest of the "cast" are tarnished.

That stupid red clock bag is $84 online.

I think it's actually 1965-1980 for Gen X. My youngest brother (who was born in late 1979) is more of a Millenial than a Gen X-er. He lives at home with Mum, has multiple degrees from Uni in many fields and certifications (not even joking: he's a mechanical engineer (BS), certified CNC operator, certified forklift operator, certified welder, got a BS in accounting a few years ago along with getting one in Management somewhere along the way) but chooses to work as a petrol station attendant. WHAT THE HELL?! My other brother (also a mechanical engineer) and I (electrical engineer with a project management certification) are just Mum's "okay" children. Youngest brother is a "Mumma's boy"- we're quite fine with it. We've just accepted (we do love our little brother) but he's stuck with caring for Mum when she gets old.
I'm the middle of three...my older sister works for the federal govt., my younger is an assistant vice provost at an ivy league uni, and I'm self employed. I'm the only one who lives in the same state as my mum. I'll be moving in with her to take care of her once she's no longer able to manage on her own. It's ok though, she'd be in a nursing home if she went to live with my younger sister and my older sister rarely speaks to her. I'd rather she be able to age in place and keep her dog with her. She did threaten to go into an old age apartment, but when I reminded her that she'd have to walk her dog and that covid has meant restricted visiting hours, she decided having me eventually take care of her was the better idea...plus I'm a good cook so she appreciates that. Your younger brother sounds like an interesting guy and good people for wanting to take care of your mum. Not everyone is cut out to be a caregiver.

Exactly, they are all are nothing without their audience. So, to treat them in such a way and lead them down a path of dishonesty, is not good in terms of business moves. I prefer people who I can trust and who are transparent and honest - they have not done that. They sell us a sweet world of escapism, which I think helps a lot of us remove ourselves from the current worldwide events that are pushing a lot of us to our limits, the smoke and mirrors, the misdirection, it is not behaviour I support.

Seriously, If that were my home my priorities would be a sound roof, heat & hot water. Having grown up in poverty I am adverse to not having the basic necessities in life. Dan, you & Amaury are so amazingly talented. I hope you are paid for every minute you put in at the Chateau. (I would want the whole place inspected, fixed once & done by a professional plumber & electrician and heating specialist. It is stupid to keep having these issues coming up.) But, that is just me.

It is too bad that Stephanie can not afford a plumber to go over the whole system. Seems like a never ending job fixing and patching up the Chateau!

You deserve a major pay rise. Stephanie, Nick and Michael had best show a whole lot of appreciation. You and Amaury are keeping the chateau operational... ❤🇦🇺

Having all of them in on it makes it doubly awful. What the hell were they thinking?

Fingers crossed my mum hasn't seen one of them or that will end up as this years novelty gift...I'm already done with shopping so no chance! 😂

Was this SJ and BJJ's first real (vlogged) date--trip to brocante and a romantic afternoon tea for two in the winter salon?
Is the vlog title the give-away?

For their first anniversary, took a trip to the same brocante...

Just an observation…many of us here (including myself) are older and wiser. So many times it seems like we point out the obvious. Like, just about everyone here on Tattle said the MPK and Andrew relationship wouldn’t last. And, it’s clear the SJ and Snorts relationship will eventually run its course (probably sooner rather than later). It might seem like we’re cynical or “hateful”…but we’ve seen this time and again in our own life experiences. And we’re far enough removed from the players (excluding @Clara Burnett !) that it’s easy for us to see things for what they are. Unfortunately, younger people like MPK and Snorts are figuring it out on their own as we watch…the hard way.
this really struck home for me...the part where you say it might seem...like we‘re cynical or hateful...so very true. I always get...the cold...intense...aloof...attitude...icy...description. maybe true...probably quite true...in certain situations. but...life happens. it makes a person protective...and not so open. but you are so right...you can’t tell the younger ones this...they will have to live it..and learn. one day they will think back...and understand the mislabeled adjectives and be a little more aware...understanding and introspective as to why and what this just might be all about for some of us here.✌

Yep, I think the title sums it up! Good spotting! How cute...that's before he started spray painting the right side of his head.

I am younger than most of them (I think I am the same age as Marie who does the flowers), but I don't ignore red flags and my gut feeling though. However, I have been burnt by a few narcissists whose lies I fell for, so I learnt my lesson in my 20s.

Look out @Clara Burnett you've been busted! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I have to laugh at the 'queens' comment.

But Goat Boy, there are definitely rats in the farmhouse. And bonus points for calling it a farmhouse!

From the Chateau DIY comments.

My guess is Clara Burnett from Tattle Life is getting her information from Dana the cook . Its obvious there's a mole at the farmhouse. No wonder the queens hide upstairs.
"Dana the cook" such an endearing description. I'm sure she'll be flattered. 🙄

Trust me, I made a lot of mistakes and learned a lot of lessons myself when I was younger. I just didn’t do it on YouTube in front of thousands of people! And it can be difficult to watch someone go through it, too.

Oh I think Anna and Edd made it abundantly clear what they thought of the Support Squirrel with the taxidermy ‘gift’. Philip and Anna invited Marie but got the whole team because Marie needed a ride. I feel for Marie I would have been carsick listening to those two singing and gushing over one another. If memory serves me she was in the backseat with headphones on for most of the filming. The chateaux owners party this summer with the Antiques dealer couple was very telling. No one wanted SJ and her ward Phyllis there and if you remember they didn’t even have decent directions to find it which I still find hilarious. George gave them a pass after the rest of the owners left because SJ got the wallet out. Everyone outside of La Lande but save the Brussels guy seems very uncomfortable around Philip. Stephanie has to see this which is probably one of the reasons they haven’t traveled to Chez Pethrick. Those boys would have him for supper served up on a lovely Spode platter.

same here...and no matter what I was told...I still did things I wished I hadn’t...now that I am much older and hopefully wiser...well...I see it all differently.
...I hope Phillip is aware of what he is doing and his eyes open soon. SJ should be ashamed that she is using this situation to her advantage...and now I will shut up and go watch some Hulu. 😎

I thought Phillip arrived in September for 2 weeks? I think it was all happening pretty quickly. There was a weird conversation they had at the outside brocante about him staying.

Anyhow watching Dan's vlog on slowest speed, looks like Dana, Natty & Anne Marie were not invited to blacktie dinner. Even Potty helped with something.

Thats lovely !
You know....... I bet your Mum still loves it and I bet it will NEVER be sent off to the Op Shop !
Sometimes you need a little "crazy" in your house!

*But Ann G......... If she asks for a SJ doll and her partner Squirrel Boy doll this Xmas.....don't go there....... you do not want to have" TOO Crazy " at the house !!!

Seriously, If that were my home my priorities would be a sound roof, heat & hot water
I am too lazy to get my glasses right now ...... I thought she wrote Sound Proof !!!

Well, with all the "hot and heavy" going on under that chateau roof ..... sound proofing might be a good choice too ! :ROFLMAO:
